Tang Sanzang put his hands together and chanted the Buddha's name: "Amitabha, the abbot is too modest. I only know a little bit."

The incarnation of the Great Wisdom Bodhisattva smiled slightly and said, "Since the holy monk is so proficient in Buddhism, why don't you stay here for a few more days and discuss Buddhism with me?"

Upon seeing this, Sun Wukong sneered in his heart, knowing that the incarnation of the Great Wisdom Bodhisattva wanted to delay time and continue to use his methods.

So he said in the master-disciple chat group: "Master, we can't stay here any longer, we must leave quickly."

Tang Sanzang nodded, and then said to the incarnation of the Great Wisdom Bodhisattva: "Thank you for your kindness, Abbot, but I and your disciples have important matters to attend to, so we cannot stay for long."

The incarnation of the Great Wisdom Bodhisattva saw that Tang Sanzang was determined to leave, so he could not force him to stay. He nodded and said, "In this case, I will not force you to stay. Take care on your journey, holy monk. If we are destined to meet again, we will meet again."

Tang Sanzang and his disciples then left the temple and continued their journey to the west.

After leaving the temple, Sun Wukong heaved a sigh of relief and said to Tang Sanzang, "Master, that was a very close call just now."

"If Master hadn't seen through the Buddhist conspiracy in time, we would have fallen into the trap of the Great Wisdom Bodhisattva."

Upon learning that the other party was actually the Great Wisdom Bodhisattva, Tang Sanzang and his companions could not help but feel a little apprehensive.

"Fortunately, this Bodhisattva of Great Wisdom has more bottom line than the Bodhisattva of Great Action. If he wants to take action by force and keep us master and disciple, I'm afraid today's matter will not end well."

Zhu Bajie shuddered when he heard this and said, "Master, we must be careful next time. These Bodhisattvas and Buddhas are not easy to deal with."

Sha Wujing also nodded and said, "We must be more careful in the future and not trust these temples and monks so easily." Tang Sanzang sighed and said, "Amitabha, Buddhism is supposed to be a peaceful place, but I didn't expect there to be so many disputes."

"On this trip, we not only have to face obstruction from demons, but we also have to be wary of the calculations within the Buddhist sect. It's really difficult."

Sun Wukong patted his chest and said, "Master, don't worry. I am here and will never let those who have evil intentions succeed."

"After all, Master Niu Kui will never watch us being plotted against by these Buddhist monks. If we really can't solve it, Master Niu Kui will definitely help us."

Tang Sanzang nodded, with a gratified smile on his face: "With the Second Grandmaster in charge, we really don't have to worry too much."

The Bodhisattvas of Great Action and Great Wisdom were scolded by the Tathagata and dared not talk back. They could only bow their heads and remain silent, their faces full of guilt.

Fortunately, at this moment, the Buddha spoke up and said, "This matter cannot be blamed on the Bodhisattvas of Great Wisdom and Great Action."

"If Zhenyuan Daxian hadn't intervened, Daxing Bodhisattva might have succeeded. As for the method used by Dazhi Bodhisattva, it is even more advanced than that of Daxing Bodhisattva."

"But no one would have thought that Tang Sanzang also knew the Great Vow Bodhisattva's salvation sutra. That's why the Great Wisdom Bodhisattva failed."

"And this is definitely not accidental. I am sure that all of this was done by the Nine Netherworld. Otherwise, how could he, Tang Sanzang, understand the Sutra of Salvation?"

As soon as the Guide Buddha said this, the Great Wisdom Bodhisattva and the Great Action Bodhisattva were finally able to raise their heads. They could not help but look at the Guide Buddha with grateful eyes.

Even Duobao Tathagata could not say anything at this moment, and could only speak to the Buddha.

"Since the Buddha also thinks that someone is interfering in this matter, then we have to remind them. Otherwise, if this continues, the journey to the west will be out of the control of our Buddhist sect."

"So we have to trouble the Buddha to take us to the Netherworld to see the Queen Mother Hou Tu in person."

The Buddha did not refuse, and nodded immediately, saying: "I will personally go to the Nine Netherworld and ask the Queen Mother Hou Tu to give me a guarantee."

"But as for the person to be in charge of the journey to the west, I think it has to be Bodhisattva Cihang. So I ask the Buddha to let Bodhisattva Cihang continue to be in charge of the journey to the west."

After hearing this, Tathagata frowned and said, "The one who tied the bell must be the one who can untie it. Only Bodhisattva Daxing and Bodhisattva Dazhi can personally go to Mount Putuo in the South China Sea."

"Of course, if you feel that you can make the journey to the west go smoothly, you can continue to be responsible for this matter."

At this time, the Bodhisattvas of Great Action and Great Wisdom dared not covet this credit. After all, the journey to the West to obtain the scriptures was much more complicated than they had imagined. (End of this chapter)
