After saying this, Fairy Zixia turned into a ray of purple light and headed towards the road that must be taken westward to obtain Buddhist scriptures.

What Fairy Zixia wanted to do did not attract anyone's attention. Instead, everyone had already started discussing who should set the stage for the Journey to the West.

The eighty-one tribulations of Journey to the West are counted from the time when Jin Chanzi was reincarnated. They are Jin Chan's first tribulation, being demoted, the second tribulation, being killed at birth, the third tribulation, being thrown into the river at the full moon, and the fourth tribulation, seeking relatives and seeking revenge.

He stepped forward and saluted, saying, "Disciple Xiao Bailong, I am here to wait for Master on the order of the Human Emperor. I am willing to help Master on his journey to the West to obtain the scriptures."

After saying this, the little white dragon turned into a white dragon horse, which was much more majestic than the white horse that the Tang Emperor had given to Tang Sanzang.

After seeing it, Tang Sanzang could not help but like it very much, and said to Sun Wukong at that time: "Wukong, help me get on the horse, I want to take a walk."

Sun Wukong nodded, waved his hand gently, and lifted Tang Sanzang up. Xiangqi sat upright on the white dragon horse.

The white dragon horse spread out its four hooves and began to gallop wildly, and for a moment it made Tang Sanzang feel like he was flying.

Looking at Tang Sanzang who was enjoying riding a horse, Sun Wukong turned his gaze directly to the white horse in front of him.

"Master already has the White Dragon Horse, so he naturally has no use for a mortal horse like you. I don't have the time to send you back to the Tang Dynasty."

"If we leave you in this wilderness, you will inevitably be eaten by wolves, tigers and leopards. You will be eaten anyway, so why not let us, the master and disciple, have a good meal?"

"When the time comes, when Master arrives at the Great Leiyin Temple on Lingshan Mountain in the West, he will definitely show your merits to the Buddha, convert your soul, and allow you to enter the West Heaven and become a Buddha."

As he spoke, Sun Wukong raised the golden hoop in his hand and smashed it directly on the dock. Then Sun Wukong pulled out a hair and blew it. It turned into a sharp ox-ear knife and began to skin and bone the white horse beside the Eagle Sorrow Stream.

Finally, he used the golden hoop to pierce the white horse directly and held it in mid-air. He then released the six Ding and six Jia fires and began to roast the whole horse.

When Tang Sanzang returned on horseback, Sun Wukong had already roasted the white horse until it was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. It was juicy and looked very appetizing.

Seeing Tang Sanzang returning, Sun Wukong tore off a horse leg and threw it to Tang Sanzang, and spoke.

"Master, there is no place to beg for alms in this wilderness, so you should just make do with this horse leg."

Tang Sanzang took the horse's leg, sighed and said, "Wukong, I am a Buddhist and should abstain from the three kinds of meat and the five kinds of disgusting things. How can you let me eat horse meat? Wouldn't that mean I can't obtain the true scriptures?"

Sun Wukong looked nonchalant, gnawing on the horse's leg and said, "Master, haven't you heard that wine and meat pass through the intestines, but the Buddha sits in the heart?"

"As long as you have Buddha in your heart, why bother about the monastic rules and regulations? If you don't have Buddha in your heart, can you obtain the true scriptures even if you eat vegetarian food and chant Buddha's name every day?"

After listening to this, Tang Sanzang looked thoughtful, and finally shook his head and said, "Wukong, you are wrong."

"You must observe the Buddhist precepts and have Buddha in your heart. Only in this way can you reach the Western Lingshan Mountain and enter the Great Leiyin Temple."

Sun Wukong tore off another piece of horse meat, chewed it, and said, "Then I have to ask you, Master."

"If you had starved to death on the way to the sutra before you even reached the Great Leiyin Temple, what would be the point of you having Buddha in your heart and adhering to the precepts?"

"Master, how many people can you convert by observing the fast and precepts? If you can bring the true scriptures back to the Tang Dynasty and spread them through countless temples, how many people can you convert?"

"Let me tell you, Master, you are not afraid of not being able to obtain the true scriptures. You are afraid that you will break the Buddhist precepts and will not be able to become a Buddha even if you obtain the true scriptures."

"If you really care about the common people, why would you care about sacrificing yourself and not want to preserve the greater self? As long as you can retrieve the true scriptures, it doesn't matter whether you can become a Buddha or not."

"But Master, you want to take back the scriptures. No, you have to survive and reach the Great Leiyin Temple. It's a pity that you are a monk with a mortal body. Without food and water, I'm afraid you won't live that long."

While speaking, Sun Wukong did not forget to shake the horse leg in his hand towards Tang Sanzang.

Tang Sanzang looked at the horse leg in his hand, and then said to himself: "Yes, it doesn't matter whether I can become a Buddha or not."

"My goal is to allow all people in the world to be enlightened by the Dharma. I don't want to go to the West to become a Buddha myself."

"I never thought that even though I have been with the ancient Buddha since I was a child, I am not as clear-headed as you, a monkey. Your words today have awakened me from my dream."

"Yes, as long as I can obtain the true scriptures, it doesn't matter if I go to hell. Today, I will follow the example of the Bodhisattva of the Buddhist sect. If I don't go to hell, who will?"

As he spoke, Tang Sanzang opened his mouth and bit directly on the horse's leg. He tore off a piece of horse meat and began to chew it.

At this time, the white dragon horse beside him also turned into a human form and said to Sun Wukong, "Big brother, give me a horse leg as well."
