Ice and Fire: Reign of the Dragon.

Chapter 19: The Dragon Comes at the Call

Chapter 19: The Dragon Comes at the Call (Seeking Follow-up Reading)

A blood-red pillar of fire shot up into the sky, and the blazing flames slammed straight into the silver dragon that was tearing through the black fog.

The dragon had scales as pure as silver, and a small, yet still luxurious horn crown. It flexibly folded its membrane wings and dodged the pillar of fire that tore through the sky. Then it swooped down towards the source of the fire like a hunting seabird, the giant fire dragon worm that suddenly broke out of the ground. It raised its slender body high and roared silently towards the sky, not wanting to be outdone.

"Roar"

A thunderous dragon roar echoed throughout the ruins.

A golden flame that was no less powerful than the pillar of fire poured down from the sky like a waterfall. The two flames exploded in the air, and countless flames fell from the sky, like a rain of fire. Longzel pulled Lin En, who was still halfway outside, and pulled him under a protruding ruin.

"Amos, Hoffa, gather everyone, let's reunite with the Lord as soon as possible."

When the people in the camp found that something was wrong, they did not sit there and wait for death. Instead, under the leadership of Sebastian and Aslan Longdel, they quickly moved towards the ruins of the tower.

The bronze dragon passed through the mushroom cloud of fire that appeared when the flames collided, raised its sharp claws, and grabbed the huge lizard head of the fire dragon worm. The dragon spread its brown membrane wings and covered the sky. Even at a distance, Longzel could feel its hugeness.

The fire dragon worm showed no weakness and allowed the dragon's sharp claws to tear its rock shell. It turned its slender body flexibly and was about to open its mouth to bite the dragon's chest and abdomen.

But it may have underestimated the fighting power of the bronze dragon. With a sudden swipe of its sharp claws, the fire dragon worm's open mouth was directly slapped shut by the claw, and its head was also lifted high.

The silver dragon seized this opportunity, raised its wings and climbed up instantly, then opened its mouth and bit the fire dragon worm's "neck" fiercely, if it had one.

The sharp dragon teeth bit through the rock shell that protected the fire dragon worm's body with a crackling sound, and blood as hot as magma gushed out like a stream.

The fire dragon worm roared silently in pain, its snake-like ring-shaped body twisted wildly, and pieces of flames spewed into the sky, but they were all blocked by the bronze dragon's scales that gradually turned molten gold under the flames. Its claws were firmly embedded in the fire dragon worm's lizard head, and then it spit out a mouthful of dragon flame, and in the meantime, considerately avoided the silver dragon that was biting its neck.

Bathed in the blazing dragon flames, the flames at the fire dragon worm's eyes grew weaker, and the shell protecting its head began to crack and melt.

Longzel swallowed nervously.

Is this the reward from the gods?
Isn’t that a bit exaggerated?

The heat in his blood gradually faded away, and he could feel that the hot things that had revived underground were rapidly fleeing the area.

After all, this was the outskirts of the Valyrian ruins, where a giant fire dragon worm could rule the world. Now that the king of these monsters was being hunted by more powerful creatures, how could these little guys hiding in the ruins of the city not be afraid?

After spitting out a mouthful of dragon flame, the bronze dragon bit the head of the fire dragon worm, which no longer had flames in its eye sockets. Its sharp teeth tore the flesh under the shell effortlessly.

The silver dragon pulled and the fire dragon insect's head and body were separated.

Until this moment, the bronze dragon slowly held the fire dragon worm's head and turned towards the direction of Longzel and the others.

The two giant dragons carried the corpse of the fire dragon worm, folded their wings and landed next to the ruins of the broken tower.

The silver dragon turned its head to look at the corpse of its fellow creature which had turned into skeletons, then turned back to continue tearing the flesh and blood of the fire dragon worm, as if this kind of hot flesh and blood was particularly to its liking.

The bronze dragon looked down at Longzel, who was hiding under the ruins with the people who had joined him. His eyes were cold. There was a hint of mania. His body was at least one size larger than the silver dragon. His mouth, which was also more than one size larger, opened, revealing jagged and sharp dragon teeth. Unlike the silver dragon, which had small and few horns, the bronze dragon had thick spikes arranged neatly on its body. Its horns were thick and slender, with many of them either standing straight backwards or bending downwards, forming a ferocious horn like a crown. The dragon's lower jaw was also covered with spikes like a beard.

"It seems that the magical pollution of the ruins of Valyria is no longer suitable for dragons to live." Longzel keenly caught the trace of mania, and the dragon was affected as soon as it arrived.

With their very obvious appearance features, it can be inferred that these two dragons are most likely the dragons of the surviving dragon king family Targaryen, the companion of the former "Mature King", "Arbiter" and "Reconciler" Jaehaerys I, the irritable and warlike "Bronze Fury" named after the forging god of ancient Valyria, and the dragon "Silverwing" of "Good Queen" Alysanne Targaryen.

That is the dragon of Longzel and his maternal grandfather and grandmother.

Of the known dragons in existence at the time, Vermithor was second only to the elder dragon Vhagar in size.

The gods are quite generous.

If only he could survive the dragon flames of Wormithor.

"Valar." Longzel called his brother. He cut open his palm and smeared blood on his and his brother's faces. The silver-colored blood slowly flowed on the faces of the two boys.

Valar was just confused for a moment, then immediately followed his brother excitedly.

The dragon that landed nearby didn't seem to notice the two "little bugs". With a snap, Womisoer bit the head of the fire dragon bug and swallowed the jelly-like, lava-like sticky substance in its head into his stomach. He closed his eyes as if he was enjoying it very much. Although the thick smoke that kept coming out of his nostrils proved that the dragon didn't seem to be in a very good mood.

Silver Wing lowered his head and bit off the rocky shell on the Fire Dragon Worm's body, slowly tearing the steaming flesh from the Fire Dragon Worm. Womisoer searched the Fire Dragon Worm's head for a while, then turned and roared at Silver Wing.

"Roar"

Yin Yi was stunned for a moment, and even took a few steps to the side as if he felt a little aggrieved, but he immediately seemed to react and roared back mercilessly.

"Roar."

But Silver Wing just roared, then shook his head and threw a piece of fire dragon worm in front of Womisol, and then continued to swallow the remaining flesh and blood in small mouthfuls.

Seeing this, Womisol did not bother with any more issues. He lowered his head and started to bite the flesh and blood that Silver Wing threw at him.

Longzel, who had already touched the edge of Womisol's wings, turned pale. He finally understood why the dragon was so terrifying.

With a body of several hundred feet and a wingspan of over a thousand feet, Womisol looked like a blazing volcano in his magical vision. Endless flames were burning fiercely in its core. Flames flowed in the dragon's blood and were contained in its muscles.

It can be said that from a magical perspective, dragons are living flames. If the two dragons were not slowly absorbing the magical pollution in the ruins, and the protective runes on their bodies were actually derived from the research of pollution by their father and the magicians, Longzel would have no way to use the connection between the two to quietly influence the emotions of the two dragons.

In fact, there was basically no impact. I don't know if it was the influence of the previous owner, but the two dragons had a strange harmonious atmosphere. Even if their emotions were polluted, they did not fight for food like ordinary beasts.

Longzel grabbed the black prism inlaid with silver threads hanging around his neck. This was something his father left him. He specifically wrote in his notebook that if he encountered an adult dragon that could be tamed, he could take out this "Shadow Binding Stone" from Yashai.

As for what effect this stone has, Dad doesn't know either.

Longzel made up his mind, grabbed the spikes on Wormisol's body and began to climb onto it.

Womisoel felt something climbing up his body and shivered uncomfortably. Longzel grabbed a spike tightly and didn't fall.

"This can't go on like this."

Longzel knew very well that if Womisol moved again, he would not be able to hold on, so he made up his mind and slapped one of the spikes.

Blood instantly gushed out from the pierced wound, but it did not drip. Instead, it slowly seeped into Womisol's scales.

Silver light surged, and the wound on Longzel's palm soon stopped bleeding and healed as before. Seeing that Womisoel had calmed down, Longzel continued to climb towards the depression on Womisoel's back.

There are a few bone spurs there that can be grasped.

Womisol had just torn off a piece of meat and swallowed it when he suddenly realized that he had not gotten rid of the little bug, but had crawled onto his back.

How can this be tolerated.

"Vormithor, fly!" Dragonzel shouted in High Valyrian.

Womisol turned his neck without any hesitation and blew a breath of dragon flame at his back.

"Roar"
