Warhammer: Angron Training Manual

Chapter 1 The Beginning

Chapter 1 The Beginning
A warship sails through the warp.

This Moon-class cruiser, which is about five kilometers long, will even cause abnormal planetary gravity due to its huge size when approaching a planet, but in this subspace, it looks like a small leaf floating in a storm.

This "leaf" floats, passing through the giant eye formed by the gathering of stars, through the nebula shaped like the devil's claws, and is surrounded by countless indescribable abominable and terrifying beings in the subspace.

Weak and helpless.

Inside this Moon-class cruiser, visually shielded from the horrors of the outside world, the people inside are far more helpless than the ship itself.

The sounds of countless light and heavy weapons and the howling of some horrific creatures mixed together, forming a melody that made the listeners feel creepy and desperate.

The resurrected dead wander around, once diligent slaves fight with loyal soldiers, and creatures called demons can emerge from anywhere and slaughter every creature they see.

At this critical moment of life and death, everyone on the command deck was in panic.

Everyone, including the captain, whether it was the soldiers stationed on the garrison, the lucky sailors who escaped to the command deck, or the officers who were usually arrogant... They discussed fighting for the Emperor until the last moment, the order of death, and how to prevent the captain's body from being seized by traitors and warp creatures...

But the only thing they did not discuss was how to retake the lost areas at this time, and how to take back from the enemy the ship that everyone had depended on for generations.

Fear and despair are spreading, and this fear and despair does not come only from human beings themselves, but also from some force or something that affects their spirits.

This atmosphere lasted for nearly half an hour, until a heavy sound of footsteps reached the command deck. Everyone breathed a sigh of relief and immediately lined up.

As the mortals watched, two warriors who were much taller and stronger than normal humans walked in.

The two warriors were wearing silver power armor, and were holding either a large shield or a giant sword, or a power halberd.

Not many people can tell their identities from the colors of their costumes - the Grey Knights.

Most people don't know the identities of these warriors yet. Even though the existence of the Grey Knights is no longer a secret after the return of the 13th Primarch, they still don't know because of the information lag.

But it doesn’t matter. The arrival of the “Angel of the God-Emperor” among mortals is enough to rekindle the fighting spirit of mortals.

"The Grand Master is right. We should not risk crossing the storm." The Grey Knight holding the halberd said in the communication channel, "A navigator who can guide a ship to sail through the warp 100% safely? What a joke."

"Perhaps this navigator that can guide ships to safe navigation with 100% certainty is itself a trap." Another Grey Knight responded in a deep voice.

Among the kneeling mortals, the two Grey Knights walked towards the core of the command deck.

The most distinguished person on the ship was ignored by them, and the two went straight to a culture chamber placed in the corner.

The silver angels stared at the sturdy man soaking in liquid inside the glass.

"How long will it take for this guy to wake up?"

"I don't know. Hold here until we are out of the warp and can take him to his destination."

"Your Majesty. A person who has just completed a transformation operation and is still asleep... It is not appropriate to send him to the battlefield regardless of whether he is awake or not."

The Grey Knight holding a large shield and a long sword expressed dissatisfaction with the current situation, but still turned around and obeyed the order, walking to the only entrance to the command deck.

The mortals immediately gathered behind the Grey Knight, forming a volley formation and raising their laser rifles.

The Grey Knight who stayed near the incubator put his halberd aside, stretched out his hands, and used his psychic power to sense the person who had not yet woken up.

He seemed to have merged with the people in the cabin and was able to detect everything beneath their unconscious appearance.

"Psychic power is a kind of ability that can distort reality. It can force our thoughts to act on reality. Although our thoughts may not be scientific and reasonable, it doesn't matter. Psychic power can do it."

The Grey Knights saw Qin Xia in the White Scars' Chapter Fortress and heard someone say to Qin Xia.

Young Qin Xia stood in front of the White Scars think tank, listening to his teachings.

"Release lightning, fire, strengthen the body, prophecy... It can do a lot, but don't forget that it is a power from the Warp. Just like the Warp itself, it is erratic and unpredictable, so it will also bring all kinds of harms that we can't even dream of."

"..." "Qin Xia, this name is the name of a glorious warrior ten thousand years ago. You have inherited this name. If the traitor who killed him is still alive, you are also obliged to avenge him."

"..."

"Juba Khan. My Chapter Master."

"Why should we let those gray-armored people take whatever they want when they come here? They leave some weapons behind, and then we can hand over this child who is about to be transformed and become a member of the think tank?"

"..."

The Grey Knight concentrated on using his psychic powers to probe Qin Xia's thoughts.

He found that Qin Xia, who was soaking in the incubator, was already in a semi-awake state, but was still immersed in past memories.

Qin Xia lingered in every important moment of his life.

It begins when he appears in a desolate world for unknown reasons, and his older soul is somehow accommodated in a younger body.

When the desolate world he was in was invaded by the enemy, the White Scars who came to rescue him discovered him. After testing him, they found that he possessed stable emotions and psychic talents.

After that, he was discovered by the Grey Knight, taken away by the Grey Knight, and underwent a transformation surgery by the Grey Knight. When the surgery was almost over, he was soaking in the incubator and heard others say that he would be deployed to a certain world, where he would learn how to fight while fighting.

There is no time for him to dawdle on Saturn, as humanity's archenemy is closing in on him.

This man was supposed to be a Librarian for the White Scars, but the Grey Knights took him away.

Even though the amiable think tank who always appeared in Qin Xia's memory tried to obstruct him in every way, Qin Xia still became a Grey Knight after the Grey Knights' soft or hard attempts... This was this man's fate.

After discovering that Qin Xia was wandering in his memories, the Grey Knights did not force him to wake up into reality. Under the current circumstances, it is a good thing for him to be immersed in memories instead of being affected by the environment and causing his psychic power to get out of control.

What's more, even if he was pulled out, this warrior who had just left the jar would be unable to fight.

"Things seem to be going well." The Grey Knight lowered his head and thought.

Everything seemed salvageable.

There are still a large number of troops on the ship. Although there are only two Grey Knights left, there are still fighting Space Marines in other places, but they are not under the command of the Grey Knights.

If proper planning is done, and with the help of means specifically designed to deal with demons and corruption, it seems that the ship's safe arrival at the destination is not a big deal...

The roar interrupted the Grey Knight's thoughts.

When he turned around and looked at the entrance to the command deck, an axe chopped through the gate, and then a terrifying red figure appeared in everyone's sight.

The bloody red wings spread out, and an angry roar came from the demon's fang-filled mouth, shaking the spirit and will of everyone.

The Grey Knight, armed with a large shield and a great sword, was the first to react to the roar and immediately went into battle.

Blue psychic lightning burst out from the Grey Knight's hands, his shield blocked the double-axe blows, and his weapons, which had been blessed by a ritual and had special killing effects against demons, roared and shot demon after demon.

The mortal soldiers roared and detonated the melta bombs to destroy themselves, while the noble naval officers fought hard together with the slaves.

Everyone shouted "For the God-Emperor".

The Grey Knights, the mortals, resisted the demons' attack again and again on the command deck.

Until the last words “For the God-Emperor” became weak, painful, and powerless.

Until the entire command deck was submerged by demons pouring in like a flood.
