Chapter 469 Continue the adventure

Chapter 469 Continue the adventure
"Then, continue."

Andrew said to himself, backing up and coming to the next door.

Continue with the old rules - start with the unlocking spell and wait for possible sneak attacks.

But this time there was nothing.

Torches cast searchlight, no traps.

Andrew breathed a sigh of relief, moved over carefully, then felt something was wrong and took a step back.

"Ho!"

A pale-white corpse rushed directly through the door with such great force that there was even a noticeable thud when it hit the ground.

But Andrew had no intention of laughing. He didn't even plan to feel whether it was a creation of Transfiguration. A ball of fire was directly lit by the magic wand and then pounced towards the other party.

"The flames are blazing!"

Andrew cast the spell with almost all his strength, and with his magical power comparable to that of a sixth-grade top student, the spell worked surprisingly well—the Inferi was almost instantly burned, and there was no way to stop the flames for even a moment.

In less than half a minute, the corpse, like a torch, was burned cleanly.

Andrew took a deep breath and pointed his wand again. The flame explored the room at a slower speed than before - there was no doubt that Principal Rasputin's malicious intent had ceased.

There was a burnt wooden shelf in the room. Andrew searched it briefly but found nothing except a pile of dust.

He shook his head and started walking again.

And every time after walking out of the detection range, he would always start casting a new spell without getting tired of it.

As for the failing professor behind him, he just kept a certain distance and gave no comments or reminders - this was a good thing, at least there were no fatal mistakes.

But that doesn't mean it's all smooth sailing.

After passing through two rooms in succession, he encountered five Inferi blocking the door - this forced him to once again unleash a powerful blaze to target them.

"There are still crowds, really, there are all kinds of situations."

Andrew sighed, complained to the failing professor, and began to explore the sarcophagus in the room.

But this time, when he opened it, an arm stretched out and swung a hammer directly at his chest.

Andrew originally intended to retreat, but the heavy armor restricted his movement.

When Andrew's wand lit up, it hit Andrew's Armor Charm heavily, making a very crisp clang sound.

Then, Andrew's torn into pieces lifted its head and flew to the side.

But this didn't work well. The headless skeleton struggled to get up and continue to attack Andrew, but Andrew's second method of blocking it directly broke its limbs.

"It's a very good armor spell. Not many adult students can cast it so perfectly," Professor Failed praised from behind. "However, we usually choose to hit it on the head with a hammer, which is much less labor-intensive than using a spell."

Although he didn't understand why the other party did this, Andrew still walked to the skull that he had blown away, swung the hammer in his left hand, and neatly delivered a set of forty meals.

"Beautiful! Normally it's a hammer shield or a wand shield, but for those who haven't learned it, the hammer is obviously more useful, and facts have proved that the hammer is indeed much more useful here."

Professor Failed praised again, "Well, please explore your trophies, Mr. Taylor. There are often some good trophies in these sarcophagi."

Andrew looked over it - it was something that couldn't be any newer, a pearl.

"It's definitely new stuff, and it might not even be fished out from the mysterious lake. Pearls will turn yellow after a long time..." Andrew complained as he stuffed the pearls into his purse and glanced at the failing professor behind him - the other party fell silent again and stopped giving any useful information.

After calming down, Andrew continued to move towards the next room.

There was still nothing new this time - the Inferi that pounced on them, plus a piercing spear trap.

He easily defeated the Inferi, used magic to activate the trap, and kicked the silver coins out of the jar - he began to get used to this rhythm.

Investigate, clean up those strange corpses, and then draw the lottery carefully.

"The accuracy of my spellcasting and my ability to respond to crises have both improved. Well, this is indeed a good place..."

"Ding-ling-dang..."

There was a very loud noise and Andrew stopped - a very thin thread appeared under his feet and it had broken.

"New trap, what type is it?"

He even had the mind to think about this, but his hands did not slow down - a ball of fire flew directly towards the aisle diagonally opposite.

But the hissing sound could not suppress the malice, and a large group of corpses rushed towards him through the flames.

"There are many obstacles!"

Andrew waved his wand and cast spells quickly.

More Inferi were shot down and completely scattered under the effect of the next spell - they tried to attack again, but were easily ignited by Andrew's flames.

The information I looked up when I came here was not in vain - targeted spellcasting is no joke.

"Nice chain of spells. I thought they would cause no trouble, but apparently not. There will be several more sarcophagi and jars waiting to be opened. The first floor is over. Do we have to go to the second floor, Mr. Taylor?"

The failing professor congratulated Andrew, but Andrew showed no sign of smiling.

"Casting spells while wearing armor is indeed more energy-consuming than normal casting." He spread his hands, "I said that for repetitive work like this, we should be more careful. Why do we need a team of three? How many floors does it have?"

"Third floor." Professor Failing responded with a smile.

"Something's wrong. There are nine people in a team of three... There must be an area that is not open... Who wouldn't hold back..."

"My spell control is too poor," Andrew began to summarize - although he hadn't really started to get tired, if he cleared another half floor, he wouldn't be able to cast Transfiguration stably.

"It takes time to learn how to control the strength of your spells."

Professor Failing obviously agreed with Andrew's point of view - this is what this place is for.

"I couldn't agree more, Professor Negokin," Andrew briefly reckoned with what he had gained along the way. "Well, after we finish cleaning one floor, let's go back and rest. I need to review my mistakes, Professor Negokin."

"Please feel free to do so. We will go explore the Taoist temple this afternoon. Mr. Taylor, please make sure to have a good rest. These two underground areas will be exclusively yours for the next week."

"I am very excited."

Andrew nodded and cast another Armor Spell on himself - no matter what, he would go and take a look at the spoils first. In case there was a blind Boggart or Skeleton or something, he could vent his anger for failure.

Understanding is understanding, tempering is tempering, but I am indeed angry
