Chapter 455 OWLs Month

The matter of the new school joining was just an intention - but what this intention meant was that even if everyone seemed to agree, they still had to pretend and think about it before deciding.

But this has nothing to do with Andrew, because the exam month is approaching and he has to be busy with the exams.

And there was something that sounded a bit outrageous - he had to pay more attention to his test scores than before, especially his weak subjects, History of Magic and Astronomy, which he absolutely could not fail.

Astronomy was a little bit easier. Although the wizards' astronomy was a little different from what he understood, the positions of the stars didn't change much, so he passed it anyway. But if he failed History of Magic, that would be a big deal.

Especially since their History of Magic professor is a temporary professor hired by Professor Binns - although it seems that Professor Binns, who has taken a leave of absence, will be a temporary professor for a long time, if he fails the course, it will really put pressure on the professor.

"I'm somewhat confident about potions. I've prioritized sensing all the potions I've learned this semester. Whether it's samples or finished products, I may feel pressured to get full marks, but O is definitely no problem."

"As for divination, well, forget it. Unless you are careless, if you make a mistake, you will be sorry for the pain you have gone through."

After all, math is something that you don't really not know. If you know it, you know it. Although he is also at the bottom of the pit and watching the level of the big guys flying to the sky, there is still a gap between the bottom of the pit.

"Anti-Dark Magic, I'd better take the test seriously. After all, I didn't lose any papers, but the pressure is not too great."

...

Andrew took stock of each subject and found that there were only three subjects that he needed to focus on.

History of Magic, Magical Creatures, and most importantly, Charms.

"I feel pressure to get full marks in Curse this semester. After all, I don't know how far the dean plans to go beyond the syllabus. But at least I won't lose points for things I learned this school year. Even if I'm not first, at least I can still make sense."

He really didn't put too much effort into the spells class this semester. After mastering Latin, he analyzed all the previous spells, re-standardized the pronunciation and casting methods of the spells, and ensured that there were no mistakes in the spells he learned in the past three years.

Apart from this, he only taught himself the fourth-grade magic that he had not finished learning before, dabbled in most of the fifth-grade spells, and analyzed them using Latin pronunciation.

That’s all - the focus of this semester was on the ever-changing Transfiguration and Potions. Especially in the later period, Potions took up a lot of time outside of Transfiguration practice, resulting in the failure to complete the review of the fifth grade content that was originally planned.

"This is hard to explain, but there is no other way. Even with the time-twister, there is a time limit. Granger is the one who is really hardworking. He has been working hard until now. It's already June, a whole year."

Andrew was very impressed, then came to his senses and realized that he should review seriously.

After persuading himself to concentrate, he continued to look through his History of Magic notebook.

...

After a long and boring review of the History of Magic, Andrew finally stood up, looked at the large group of students reviewing around him, and sighed.

"Speaking of which, the OWLs exams are coming up soon. I wonder how this class of students will perform. Are they affected by the Triwizard Tournament or attracted by the name of the Warriors?"

Andrew didn't know about it, but there was a high probability that he would have to do odd jobs and accompany the exam - after all, the manpower was limited, and he had gone in the past two years, so it would be unreasonable for him not to go this time.

He walked around the bookshelf and looked through the gap between two bookshelves. That was the edge of the library, reserved for fifth graders, for the sake of quiet. "Come on, you'll be fine after you get through this. This is real, no lies."

This is not meant to encourage anyone, because for most students, getting through the OWLs is enough.

There are actually quite a few jobs available in the wizarding world, at least in the UK.

Andrew has sorted out the certificate requirements for campus recruitment. Most of them only require OWLs certificates. Although higher levels are helpful in obtaining them, the threshold is just passing the course.

Of course, just getting a certificate is completely a waste of time. Most professors have requirements for their advanced classes. If you really waste your time to that extent, you don't even have to go to class before the seventh grade. You can just stay in the library or spend your days idling.

But excluding those lousy and high-requirement positions, it is true that the rest of the positions basically do not require any advanced certificates. Even if there are, only one or two of the most critical ones are enough, which means that you basically have to take any courses in the sixth grade.

"Even a guy like Percy who has a liver on his head is still dating and working in the office all day in the sixth grade, let alone the others. You guys should work harder."

Andrew shook his head, stopped thinking about those fifth graders, and turned to leave the library.

The time has come, and he has to practice his spells - for real this time, because he will be the one taking the exam after the OWLs!
Just as Andrew was busy reviewing, the latest news about the Triwizard Tournament appeared.

The three schools finally reached a consensus and agreed to add Kodoth Ryze in addition to the traditional three parties in the Triwizard Tournament, but to keep the original name unchanged.

But Andrew didn't ask about the details - it was all Professor McGonagall who talked about it.

As for the rest of the work, it was all piled on poor Bob. But there was no way, he had to work hard, and after being promoted to the seventh grade, he would be able to command the current fifth-grade prefect.

I just don't know who I'm connecting with. Anyway, I've met both of Andrew, the fifth-grade class leaders. But my file-handling ability will have to wait for the training I'll get after the exams this year.

However, Andrew, who was studying frantically, had no time to take care of this matter.

He now even used the time he spent on the Time Turner to review - although it was a bit unfocused, his level of History of Magic improved very quickly, and passing the exam was no problem at all.

It is the curse that brings pressure, because there is too much content to cover and the pursuit of perfect mastery. Up to now, he still has not fully understood the content of the fifth grade, and the content of the fourth grade only barely meets his requirements for himself.

As for magical creatures, it is no problem to maintain E and strive for O.

But he didn't force it any more. After making sure that he had no problem getting an E, Andrew simply gave up on Magical Creatures - getting an E was enough to give Hagrid face, and he might not even get an O in Runes, so he didn't have that much free time.

"It's mainly because the professor is too harsh. It's easy to get an E, but every year I'm stuck on an O. Why do you make the language exam so tricky? The runic pattern study is there every year. Why don't you give me a tortoise shell test for oracle bone inscriptions in the Chinese exam?"

But no matter how much we complain, we still have to review.

In the midst of busy review and preparation, Andrew didn't even have time to pay attention to the Triwizard Tournament, and he went straight to the OWLs exam.

However, he was not the one taking the exam, but the invigilator.
