Chapter 427: Peeves the Disliked
“Ahem… huh… huh…”

It was impossible to be embarrassed. Sirius now just wanted to draw his wand and duel with the bastard student in front of him.

This is a naked sneak attack!

Everybody was chatting happily, and even if the treasure couldn't be divided, it would be nice to see it, but a direct sneak attack was nothing!
But when he finally caught his breath, Andrew's last words fell into his ears.

"…Now it seems that the map should have been found, but I am really not suitable to see it."

"Anyway, the treasure does exist, and Professor Nina and I have not spent this holiday exploring for nothing," Sirius forced a change of subject, looking as if he had never heard of a map. "The minimum is a warehouse full of Sickles, but I think it's more likely to be the chamber of secrets left behind by Ravenclaw himself."

"Then I don't know. The records in the academy don't record this information." Andrew shook his head. "To be honest, if both Gryffindor and Slytherin left something behind, it would be normal for Ms. Ravenclaw to leave something behind - but why her, and not Hufflepuff?"

Hufflepuff ladies and Ravenclaw ladies are good friends, so it doesn't make sense that the treasure associated with Peeves would only be related to Ravenclaw.

"It could be both, but we didn't find anything different in Hufflepuff-related locations."

The embarrassment on Sirius's face had completely disappeared, "But the Astronomy Tower is different. We found something wrong."

"Which way?"

Andrew was very curious about what was wrong - Ravenclaw students decorated the building one after another and wanted to renovate the entire exterior of the Astronomy Tower.

As for the interior, forget it. The sleeping bags in Hogwarts all belong to Ravenclaw, and are occasionally borrowed by other colleges.

The entire upper floors of the Astronomy Tower have been cleared by Ravenclaw students. Is there any blind spot?
"Copper ring."

"You must be joking," Andrew waved his hands, "It can't be the copper ring. Do you think we are quiet students? There are too many people studying the copper ring. He wasn't bragging - although the Ravenclaw students were not as brave as the Gryffindor students in playing pranks, they had come up with and implemented at least hundreds of ideas targeting the brass ring, but up to now the brass ring was still able to keep them out according to the rules.

It's not just Ravenclaw students. Because of the special nature of the common room door, people from other colleges also often come here to punch in. After so many years, if there were any secrets, they would have been discovered long ago.

This is a magical world, not some miraculous thing that no one has learned how to reverse in decades, and it doesn't seem like a strange existence like in an online game.

But having said that, Andrew still looked forward to Sirius's explanation - he didn't want to be so arrogant.

"Just put Peeves into the copper ring. That's the theory. It's a bit speculative, but it should be so. I observed it for a long time during the summer vacation, and it never came this way. There are no rings in its collection!"

"But that's far-fetched, Sirius."

Andrew shook his head - although he was convinced, he needed more concrete reasons.

It is not a good thing to provoke Peeves, especially to tie it up and stuff it into the copper ring. Andrew has no intention of repeating the incident that Principal Eupraxia Moore had done before. If Peeves really goes crazy, it will be no trivial matter.

Even if there really is a treasure, he wouldn't dare to open it!
If Peeves goes crazy, he would really dare to launch an AOE attack on the whole school. It is pure stupidity to do such a thing for a treasure, not to mention that the treasure is fictitious!
"Can you please leave for a moment, Professor Nina?"

Sirius wanted to say something, but finally sighed and spoke quietly to Professor Nina.

"Okay, fifteen minutes, I'll be back later."

Without any hesitation, she left the empty classroom and waited outside.

Sirius' eyes flickered, and he moved closer, lowering his voice, "Someone told me."

Who knows that the treasure is not to be opened? Another question, how did you know that?
Andrew looked at Sirius suspiciously. If he hadn't just tested it himself, he would have to do it again.

"It was told by the daughter of Ravenclaw. It's a very sad story, but I'm almost certain it's true."

He had intended to cover it up, but his lie had just been discovered, so he could only speak out the private part. "We originally looked up the people that Peeves was afraid of - you know, the Bloody Baron, the ghost of Slytherin."

"I know. Even the ghost knows. He's the only ghost Peeves is afraid of."

Andrew nodded.

"That's because when he was alive, he was the one responsible for enforcing the school rules against Peeves when the school was founded - he was a Slytherin himself."

"Slytherin's own disciple?"

Andrew opened his mouth wide - you think you are writing a legend?

That was the name given to the first batch of students at the founding of the school.

"Really? I looked up the information at home and found that the Bloody Baron appeared in Hogwarts in a long-ago note, so I guess he is most likely the first ghost and the first student. Peeves is a castle elf born with the students. When he was born, the punishment was carried out by the Bloody Baron."

So they have been fighting since they were young?

There is nothing wrong with this explanation - in other words, Bloody Baron was actually the first batch of administrators?

"Following the Bloody Baron, we investigated another ghost, Ms. Grey. Professor Nina felt that there was something wrong with the relationship between the two."

"She is the daughter of Ravenclaw?"

Andrew’s eyes widened—No, the ghost circle is so large?

"Yes, without a doubt she is."

Sirius blushed a little, but continued, "Anyway, she told a lot of Ravenclaw stories. The most classic one is that when Madam Rowena was thinking, if Peeves dared to disturb her, she would lock it in front of the door. So, it is most likely the switch of the Chamber of Secrets, although no one has tried it."

The process was not introduced, but Andrew roughly understood it - Sirius used his face to scan it.

"Fortunately, I don't make a living by my looks, so I've never been favored by the ghosts of my own academy..."

Andrew breathed a sigh of relief - the treasure couldn't be the crown anyway.

Because he really knew about the crown, but he just hadn't thought of an excuse to take it out yet - it was fine to leave that thing there, but if he took it out and couldn't deal with it, it would be more likely to cause trouble.

"Okay, I'll go call Professor Nina - don't mention the specific process!"

Sirius made a weak threat.
