Chapter 412 The Quidditch Game is about to begin
"Hiss, Ron, it's a bit cold."
Harry and Ron walked out of the castle to attend the Herbology class, but were stopped by a cold wind.
"Yeah, time flies by so fast. I don't know when the fireplace will light up," Ron also hugged himself, "It would be great to go to the library to read at this time. I hope it's warmer in the greenhouse."
As we enter November, the temperature has dropped dramatically. The clothes that were quite warm yesterday can no longer keep out the cold wind.
While complaining, he looked at Hermione for help, "Hermione, please, can you make some fire?"
In their first year, they used the flames in the bottle that Hermione conjured to keep warm. Although everyone is in their third year now, Ron still can't perform that magic.
He had read it before, but because it was not within the scope of the exam and was not among the evil spells that he was good at, he still hadn't learned it so far.
But Hermione ignored his pleading look - to be exact, Hermione was in a daze at the moment and no one knew what she was thinking.
"Harry," Ron poked Harry, his voice very low, "that flame, please."
'Ron, you have to find an excuse to make peace,' Harry thought helplessly. He didn't believe that Ron couldn't cast a spell, but he had to help. 'This might be the best way that guy can think of to please others, although in his current state, he still has to grab the first place.'
"Hermione, please, some fire."
Harry walked around and spoke to Hermione.
"what?"
Hermione was stunned for a moment, and it took her a while to realize what Harry said. She easily created a flame, but she was still in a trance. "Is this the Herbology class?"
"Of course, there are only a few herbs outside the castle."
Ron whispered back, but Hermione ignored him and began to daydream again.
“You guys are simply…”
Harry sighed. He didn't know how to deal with this contradiction. Hermione had finally found some confidence in the Transfiguration class, but was crushed by Ron in magic.
Moreover, Hermione seemed dull this semester, often distracted and forgetful, and her whereabouts were erratic, so the time we spent in class together was much less than last school year.
"She has many subjects that she is good at, Harry. Besides, don't you find that Hermione's schedule is a bit strange? It seems like she can take any elective course."
Ron scratched his head helplessly, "I suspect he was cursed by some kind of learning ghost, otherwise why would he be in this state day after day."
"How can there be such a ghost? Didn't the Ripper hang out with ghosts every day for a while, and he was fine?"
"Maybe he's researching the transformation of life and death to prepare for the resurrection of ghosts," Ron joked, "But I'm not the only one who thinks so. The seniors all think so too."
"Unlikely?"
Harry immediately refused to accept this outrageous thing.
"Like George and Fred said, they've never been very reliable, but this is their year of OWLs, so they should be more stable."
"And Percy didn't deny it. He said that the textbooks for senior grades have been temporarily revised. This year, the enzyme transmutation technique will be an important test point for NEWTs."
Ron waved his hand. "Anyway, Percy said that some law in the senior Transfiguration textbook was directly rewritten."
"Gamp's Law of Transfiguration," Hermione suddenly interrupted the conversation, "It should be that, the first law is that living food cannot be transfigured, but it has been rewritten, and it may need to be revised later."
"Hermione, you knew?"
Harry's eyes widened, but he was not surprised that Hermione knew, but that she suddenly woke up and joined the conversation - anyway, he was used to Hermione knowing everything.
"I read it during self-study, but I couldn't understand it at all," Hermione sighed, "I really don't know why he came back to class again. Is it really necessary for him to continue taking Transfiguration classes?" "Then I don't know. What's over there?"
Harry shook his head and turned his gaze to the other side - a huge carriage was parked there, and some house-elves were busy unloading the cargo.
"Hagrid's over there!"
The Seeker demonstrated his professionalism and spotted Hagrid who was directing the carriage.
Ron and Harry ran over quickly. Hermione looked at the greenhouse, then looked at the two of them, and finally chose to take a hot dog out of her bag and quickly stuffed it into her mouth.
She was now sleepy and hungry, and had to replenish her food - several months had passed, and she had become accustomed to putting snacks in her schoolbag and replenishing them when she had time, otherwise she would have to go to class on an empty stomach.
She had taken an extra elective class last period, but she was blocked by Harry and the others without eating, so now she had to eat quickly.
"This way, Hermione!"
Harry turned around and started to greet them, but Hermione had already quickly finished her meal. She trotted over and found that what was being unloaded was a pile of rare potion ingredients.
As the best potion expert among her classmates, she easily identified these things.
"Hagrid, what is this?"
"The school ordered a lot of potion materials, so I helped to receive them," Hagrid responded with a smile. He still kept his positions as gamekeeper and key keeper, but was only a part-time professor, so the important work was still in his hands.
"Why does Snape need so many potion ingredients?"
"It's not Professor Snape," Hagrid waved his hand, "You shouldn't ask who it is specifically."
-
"They are so secretive and they are transporting it covertly, as if they can't let anyone see it," Ron shook his head. "That much raw material must be made of a lot of gold."
"Is it expensive?"
Harry looked at Ron.
"It's very expensive. Percy used to make a lot of Galleons from speculating on this. As Fred said, many of the potion ingredients we haven't used in class yet."
Ron said casually, "But I do have a guess."
The other two looked at Ron.
"Fred and the others said that Taylor has been getting close to Snape recently. The two of them might be tinkering with the resurrection ritual."
"With Snape, really?"
"What they both said should be correct."
"More like doing something bad," Harry said with a suspicious look on his face, "I'm not sure."
But a greeting came from behind, "You two!"
Their captain, Wood, approached quickly. "I almost forgot to inform you that the first official match will be starting soon, Ravenclaw vs. Hufflepuff. Go and have a look. It is said that Ravenclaw has changed their brooms this year!"
He made the announcement in a hurry and ran away in a hurry.
But the tone has changed completely - intrigue and speculation have been replaced by Quidditch.
Hermione sighed slightly, and then continued to seize the time to empty herself. Time was limited, and she had to let her brain rest for a while.
