Chapter 373 Breakup
"Excellent calculation, Mr. Taylor. Three more points for Ravenclaw!"

In the Arithmancy class, Andrew was getting good marks as usual. Professor Victor was extremely satisfied with his performance in frying fish, but Miss Granger seemed to have given up on being the first in this course. Anyway, she even lost the enthusiasm to raise her hand during this period.

"I can't help it. This isn't even based on talent. I didn't think of combining the two to bully people like this..."

Andrew no longer felt much guilt, because he had heard some time ago that Miss Granger was getting a lot of marks in the Muggle Studies class - if everyone is trying to fry the fish, then there's nothing much to say if you're the one being fried.

"Twelve points today, Taylor!"

When the get out of class was over, as soon as Professor Victor left, some curious people started to calculate how many points Andrew had earned in this class.

At present, Miss Granger is still the big boss who suppresses the entire third grade. Coupled with the influence of last year's championship, this year's Ravenclaws are extremely concerned about every point they get in class.

Even the usually shy Hughes has started trying to get points in History of Magic. The students of Ravenclaw are extremely united this semester.

"Professor Victor is as generous as ever, but the pressure we're under this semester is extraordinary."

Although he had other things to do in the office, Andrew couldn't just leave his classmates behind and run out. He waved his hand and said, "This is not something that can be accomplished by one person's efforts, especially for our third grade. Miss Granger has been ranked first for two consecutive years, and looking at this momentum, I have no doubt that she can continue to win first place."

"We are here to take care of the other subjects. Just take care of these two, Taylor!"

After a round of communication and mutual encouragement, everyone dispersed one by one. Andrew and his roommate said goodbye in a hurry, and then ran quickly to the office - the next step was human body deformation practice and duty. Today's conversation time had been delayed for a while because of the extra time.

"It's a little late today. Adjust your condition before practicing. There's no rush."

Professor McGonagall was already waiting in the office. "According to the current progress, you will be able to transform your entire body by the end of next month at the latest. Are you ready for what to study next?"

"I don't have any further plans for now, professor. I'm just planning to study the magic system of Ugadu, but I don't have much idea about the development of human body transformation surgery for now."

The series of books given by Durmstrang were quite a headache as most of them had nothing to do with Transfiguration, not to mention the difficulty in reading them. He had no choice but to put them aside and study them slowly, focusing on learning the easiest Transfiguration, Uagadu.

"Well, it's a good idea, but I should also put my own research on magic on the agenda. As for small branches like Animagus, I'd better prepare for weather divination next summer vacation before starting. After all, it will require a thunderstorm to complete it."

"Yes, Professor," Andrew nodded seriously, "But Professor, I still don't quite understand. Apart from being able to cast spells without a wand, is there any difference between Animagus and ordinary human transformation?"

He had always been curious about this - after all, the information in the book was not detailed enough, and there were only seven legal Animagus in a world, so there was really no accurate information.

"Specifically, there really isn't a big difference. In fact, most of the time, human transformation is more convenient. As long as you have enough human transformation skills, you can easily disguise yourself as a chair or something else. Even the wand will blend in. This is much more convenient than a fixed Animagus."

Professor McGonagall explained gently, "If you have to mention the advantages, Animagus is more concealed and not easy to be discovered. It is easier to transform after learning it. There is another thing that I don't know if it can be considered an advantage. Under Animagus, the wizard's resistance to abnormal conditions will be frighteningly high. It can even be said that as long as the transformation is restored, all curse effects will disappear. But I have only tried most of the curses that can be removed."

Because the number of people is so small, even such important information has to be guessed by the professor himself.

“It seems to be somewhat helpful, but…”

"But not much, right, Taylor?"

The professor also shook his head. "I haven't heard of many wizards who fight in Animagus form. To be exact, I can't think of anyone who would give up the advantages of the wand and choose to fight in Animagus form."

Indeed, it was true - they could cast a spell and then let the Animagus resist it? And they did it with such a small number of people? In theory, wizards who could learn Animagus would not be so stupid.

"But anyway, you should still learn it," the professor smiled, "at least you won't have any regrets. After all, it's a very troublesome ritual magic, and it can be considered as a broadening of your horizons. I'm afraid you won't have so much free time to complete such ritual magic in the future."

"Yes, Professor."

"Okay, there are about seven minutes left, go do your practice for today."

-

"Today's mission was completed very well."

Andrew piled up the documents and looked at his pocket watch. He still had about twenty minutes of break time.

After a quick snack, he hid himself as usual, waiting for his other self to time travel - thanks to the Transfiguration training during this period, he could even read magazines or something in there.

"The professor has a lot of Transfiguration magazines here, but unfortunately only the ones on today's Transfiguration are of some reference value, the rest are really useless... Very good, that's it."

He felt himself leave, put the magazine away, opened the door and walked out. 'Clean up the desk and get ready for the next class, let me see, it's, um, Transfiguration.'

Andrew was surprised to find that he seemed to arrive in the classroom later than the professor - but it was no problem, the professor would forgive him for being a little late in the Transfiguration class.

He started to tidy up his desk, but at this moment, there was a knock on the office door.

"Please come in."

The door opened, revealing a professor who rarely showed up in his office.

Andrew had heard of the professor whom he had never met before - Professor of Divination, Sybill Trelawney.

"Hello, Professor, what can I do for you?"

Andrew inquired - he was prepared to try and quickly brush the matter off, because Professor McGonagall had really scolded this person in the office.

Of course, the fact that this professor predicts the death of a student every year is also a consideration.

"I came to Minerva to report a situation. The students from her academy were extremely rude in my class and even had a fight with me!"

"This is incredible, Professor."

"Yes, that's incredible, she even said my class was a waste of time and left with her bag!"

???

Which student is so fierce?

"That's it, Granger, yes, Hermione Granger, she is a student without any divination qualities, she is too worldly, she is totally unsuitable for the noble art of divination!"

"I understand very well, Professor," Andrew said solemnly, "I will soon expel her from Divination class completely and make up for the detention she deserves."

"That would be great."

Professor Trelawney said sincerely.

"Don't worry, professor," Andrew promised, "I'll take care of it quickly."

As he spoke, he picked up his bag and walked out the door, followed by Professor Trelawney.

"Come on, go to Filch, I'm going to put her in detention!"

"Sorry," Andrew smiled apologetically, "I'm really sorry, Professor. Unless you specify the content of the confinement, I can only assign it."

The matter was, of course, handled by Professor McGonagall, whom he supported unreservedly.

"I assigned her to help Professor Snape."

"I'm sorry, professor," Andrew said apologetically again, "She has been expelled from the class. Unless you provoke her in person, you cannot designate a student who is not yours to participate in the confinement. If you intend to withdraw the expulsion order, you need to make a written application..."

...

"Forget it, it's a bargain for her."

Professor Trelawney gave up angrily. She finally gave up the troublesome written application and left.

"We've started a quarrel. Miss Granger, are you planning to give up useless subjects? It's only been a month, why are you so stressed? But as for quarreling with the professor... forget it. I'll see what Professor McGonagall thinks."

He didn't know the details - but he could eat melon at noon, after all, there were classmates going to the divination class.

"I have to report to the professor - ah, damn, I'm really late this time!"
