Chapter 341 Time Turner

"It's a little late, Taylor."

When Andrew handed the book to Hughes and ran over, Professor McGonagall was in her office preparing things for the next class.

"Sorry, Professor, the first class is Magic Runes. I went to look through the magic icon collection, so I'm a little late."

Andrew explained seriously that the professor shouldn't care about such things.

"Ancient runes. Yes, my professor used that book to trick me. Later I found that my talent was not in translating those things. But I have to admit that it is really interesting."

Professor McGonagall did not look nervous. She looked at Andrew with a smile, and there was even some reminiscence in her expression. "If you need it, you can come over this afternoon and use the time-twister to translate, but I don't recommend that you rush yourself."

"Indeed, Miss Granger's timetable," Andrew sighed, "makes me feel a little suffocated just looking at it."

"That was her choice, and basically every top student would choose to do so, using the Grand Slam certificate to prove their excellence." The professor didn't seem to mind that choice, "It was just unexpectedly tiring, and I almost didn't stick with it back then."

what?
That's right, Professor McGonagall was undoubtedly the first one back then - as far as the style of the Time-Turner is concerned, it is definitely not a new one.

"You're different, Taylor. Overexerting yourself is not conducive to maintaining a good condition in Transfiguration. Moderate use is fine, but four hours is too much."

"I know, professor, that overwork will reduce the control of magic and emotions, which is a taboo for Transfiguration."

Andrew is no greenhorn - he doesn't even have enough time to stabilize his body transformation, and excessive use of the time-turner or something like that would only bring him trouble.

His current state is actually the best. He just needs to attend classes, work and rest on time every day. The workload has not actually increased, it's just that the professor secretly gave him two hours of extra rest time every day.

"Well," the professor nodded, "You must always be mindful of this measure. Your Transfiguration is too strong, which makes it much more difficult to transform the human body."

"Professor, please don't repeatedly whip the corpse because your spell is too powerful and it is easy for others to be unable to save you..."

Andrew nodded, “Then shall I start using it?”

"Don't worry, Taylor. The safest way is to use it when no one is around. You must find a secluded place. I have created a small space behind the curtains over there using Transfiguration. When I leave the office, you will do what I told you that day. Remember?"

"I remember, professor - wear it around your neck, twist it slowly twice, and then don't look for yourself in the same time and space, otherwise you will kill yourself."

Andrew recited the contents skillfully and Professor McGonagall nodded.

"Well, let's get started, Taylor."

The professor left, locking the door of the room.

Andrew took out this small thing from the wooden box, then put the chain around his neck according to the instructions and carefully turned it twice.

The darkness began to disappear, and he felt a strange force pushing him - but he suppressed his curiosity and desire to explore, tried hard not to come into contact with that force, and did not dare to analyze the rules.

He was carried up in confusion until he heard a violent knocking sound in his ears.

'Landing, no, stepping on the ground.'

Then he tried hard to stop thinking - damn it, why didn't he know that he still had such a suicidal desire to explore?
'Stopped.'

Andrew breathed a sigh of relief, he felt the friction between the gold chain and his neck.

He opened his eyes and the surroundings were darker - which meant that the sunlight outside the window was not as stimulating.

Obviously, a success - or this thing can allow a student to teleport for three years without any problems is indeed very stable.

He emerged from the Transfiguration curtain and glanced at the sky—it was undoubtedly just breakfast time.

"I'm afraid I'll have to adjust my pocket watch every day from now on."

He glanced at the table - the timetable had been taken away by him, and on the table was the remaining work for today.

There is no doubt that the professor is ready.

"Actually, I can eat a little in the morning..."

He regretted eating too much in the morning - but it didn't matter, he just finished today's work. There was no homework on the first day of school, no reports from the professor, and the work was very leisurely.

He even finished the job in less than an hour.

But he couldn't go out next - because he was different from other students, and there was a real possibility that he would be killed.

After mastering the basic transformation technique, he still spent half a day studying his own version - okay, a new five-legged monster can be born.

"Just review, the next class is spells."

Andrew tidied up his desk and started to prepare for the lesson. He had prepared half of the book during the summer vacation, but it would be a good idea to review what he had learned.

"Interesting, this seems to work... but you can't cast spells in Professor McGonagall's office."

"Well, if the wand moves slightly when casting a spell, will it be possible..."

...

"Tyler."

Professor McGonagall's voice rang, waking Andrew from his research - strange, the bell for the end of get out of class didn't ring, and he had set a reminder on his pocket watch, so the magic pocket watch was still functional.

"Professor, are you done with the class?"

"I left a little early, what should you do next?"

Professor McGonagall put down her book and looked serious.

"Hide after class until my other self comes over, and then wait for him to use the Time Turner to disappear and ensure the time loop."

Andrew blurted out—he had been solemnly warned.

"Yes, that's the step you must remember, including closing the door and knocking before entering. This way there will be enough error tolerance."

The professor nodded and said, "I have a separate room on the other side. You can hide in it."

"Yes, Professor."

Andrew didn't listen to the bell and didn't calculate the time he would go to the library.

It is best to arrange things in advance - being in a hurry may seem cool, but it is actually just stupid.

He ducked inside, closed the door, and waited for his other self to visit the professor, without any curiosity at all.

'Borrow books from the library, then come over...'

Andrew counted the time, and then heard a knock on the door.

"Professor, I'm sorry."

"It's a little late, Taylor."

Professor McGonagall said so.

"Sorry, Professor, the first class is Magic Runes. I went to look through the magic icon collection, so I'm a little late."

……

Next, he entered the curtain.

Andrew didn't dare to open the door, but he felt the power - but this time he was even more afraid to touch it.

Time begins to cycle.
