Chapter 269 Bugs
When Andrew woke up early as usual, he realized that he was no longer in Hogwarts.

After thinking for a while, he decided to sleep for a while.

This was a great choice - although a little hard to sleep on.

When he woke up the second time, he finally realized something was wrong - he could not cast spells.

Yes, although the wand was still with him and he felt a sense of extension of his limbs when he touched it, he was unable to cast spells now.

"Good morning, Andrew, missing casting spells?"

Percy questioned, opening his eyes sleepily.

"Yeah, I miss it," Andrew stroked his wand and put it away. "It's a novel experience not being able to cast spells for a week. I could still cast spells before I entered school, although I only tried to change them directly with magic."

He could even cast spells without a wand now, but that wasn't really spellcasting at all - it was just some changes made to the magic power. There was no systematic training, no wand-waving method or wand bonuses, and he couldn't even use spell resonance. It was just a separate magic change.

It is much better than when I entered the school, but still unbearable.

Even the spell he considered to be the lousiest could easily kill himself in the wandless state - and it was ridiculous to study and learn this wandless casting system without any guidance.

Besides, there is the omnipotent Dumbledore. After learning almost all about human transfiguration, Andrew plans to try to ask the headmaster for knowledge about wandless spellcasting - studying on his own is the least efficient.

"Case spellcasting before entering school? Then you have good talent and magic power," Percy nodded, "Yes, your Transfiguration is indeed - but unfortunately, the Ministry of Magic does not allow it..."

"It's a good idea to try not casting spells occasionally and calm down to think. By the way, I saw the garden at your house yesterday. What did it look like?"

"Normally, it was fine at first, but ever since Fred and George grew up - I mean since they were able to move, the garden has been basically abandoned."

Percy had a look on his face that said you should know why.

There is no doubt that Andrew is very clear about this reason. "That's a pity, but waste has its benefits - I remember there is a saying in both Transfiguration and Herbology."

"That's right," Percy said with a bit of pride, "It's you who's responsible. Those three idiots didn't know what a great place it is for adventure."

"Why don't you summarize what I don't know...really..."

But this is normal, Percy didn't notice his bias at all, "Come on, let's go take a look, there should be some good things in the spring garden."

The two of them simply washed up and went straight downstairs without calling anyone else.

Magical creatures and wizards have a semi-symbiotic relationship - and this is best reflected in the abandoned lands near the wizards.

Even though spring has just begun.

The two walked half a circle around the house and arrived at the huge garden in the backyard - the land here was not well utilized and was overgrown with weeds. Especially at this time of year, there were only a few spots of green among the withered yellow grass, making it look extremely desolate.

"There is no sign of vegetable planting... As expected, subsidies have made the wizards' food resources extremely rich. And... there are traces of herbs here and there, but they are suppressed by weeds."

"What a shameful herb that can't even beat weeds. If you don't learn how to use Mandrake, at least you should have some sense of being a lord..."

Andrew shook his head and began searching for the random bugs - again nothing of interest, but interesting.

It's quite interesting. They can't even be ranked - although they are also magical insects that coexist with wizards, they can't even beat the lowest-level Flobberworm, not even an x.

But this does not affect the fact that they are magical creatures. Andrew picked up a branch and said, "Percy, what is this thing?"

"This?" Percy thought for a moment. "It's a lowly little bug. It seems to be called a Galibanna beetle. It's not even a magical creature, but it has some magical properties."

Percy thought for a while about the value of being the top of the grade. "It seems that I have said separately that due to its magic, it is quite strong, but it will not bite people. It has limited edible plants and cannot even fly. It is not even worth raising. Most magical creatures do not like to eat it..."

No wonder it’s not x enough - although the Flobberworm is embarrassing, firstly, it has high defense, secondly, it has a wide range of diet and can eat everything, and thirdly, it can be used as a thickener for some potions, which is x level.

"You're not going to think about its armor and try to improve your armor spell or something, are you?"

Percy's eyes widened - he was not making it up, Andrew really looked like he was capable of doing such a thing!

Not to mention anything else, he was able to imitate the Armor Spell by using Transfiguration and even carefully write down the principles and methods of use. This is no longer just ordinary perversion!

With this trend, it is not impossible for him to transform his so-called Iron Armor Spell!

"I'm not a pervert, I'm just curious about this bug. I haven't even taken a magical creatures course!"

Andrew looked as if he was trying to defame someone's innocence. "Besides, the Armor Curse wasn't completely successful. My paper has been rejected by the professor twice. Did you know that twice?"

Professor Flitwick's review was much stricter than Andrew had expected - he originally thought he would be able to pass it on the first try, but the professor pulled him over and checked it word by word for half an afternoon, then sent it back for redoing.

Then came the second time. Having learned from the last lesson, Andrew waited for nearly a month and a half, incorporating his new knowledge of spells and his understanding of the Shield Spell into the paper. He also revised all the spell problems pointed out by the professor before submitting it.

But unfortunately, I was rejected again - I was still speechless and the mistakes and shortcomings were pointed out one by one, and the imperfect parts of the theory were modified at the same time.

The dean's profound knowledge is fully demonstrated, so Andrew's third edition is still under revision.

But it is currently in labor.

It was indeed too difficult to explain the Shield Charm with the second-grade spell knowledge. His original spell was not universal and there was no possibility of improvement.

His main skill was Transfiguration, which crushed the imitation skill - it was not because he had thoroughly mastered the Armor Spell, but because his Transfiguration skill was so powerful that he could imitate the spell's effect and create a similar one without understanding the principle.

It looks the same now as it did before - even if it is enhanced, it is just a matter of increasing the pile volume.

However, after revising the first version of the paper, he gradually began to understand the answer.

He began to understand the prototype of the spell and why it was successful.

But the dean felt that it was not enough...

So the second edition was also rejected.

And now...

"Those bugs can actually be considered a kind of transformed shield, but their efficiency is too low, even inferior to the Iron Armor Spell. It's just a modification of the disadvantage..."
