Chapter 181 New Treasure (Wrong)

"I have to attend Professor Lockhart's fan meeting, so I want to delay my application for one day?"

In the office, Andrew looked at his twin brothers holding the invitation letters and felt a little uneasy.

Twins? Lockhart fans?

Does this have anything to do with Nat?
It doesn't look like they're just there for snacks... Although the food there is a bit more high-end, the two people who go in and out of the kitchen every day are like Hufflepuffs, and they don't lack for those.

"What's the point? Just to delay for a day?"

He really couldn't believe that the two of them loved Lockhart so much - he didn't understand Lockhart, but he knew the twins' record of violations.

Gryffindor's detentions are different from those of other houses.

Those who violated the rules must first check if they have offended any professor. If so, the professor will be given priority. If not, everyone will enter Professor McGonagall's office list, and then see if there are any professors who need to do some odd jobs - such as composting and mixing in Herbology, processing animal offal in Potions, cleaning and preliminary processing of feed in Magical Creatures, etc.

If all are completed, they will be assigned to the various deans and their people to see if the deans have time to deal with the confinement issue. If not, they will be called back and everyone will look for a solution. If yes, the deans will handle it themselves.

These are the rest of the people - the Gryffindors were divided up by Andrew and his friends. If there was work to do, they would be assigned to them. If not, they would find work for them. If that didn't work, Andrew and his friends would put them in detention, after all, Professor McGonagall didn't have time to deal with it.

As for the twins, after each of them took turns to deal with them, Andrew was more impressed with them than with the Ravenclaws who were not his classmates.

'It should be ok? '

The two of them looked well behaved - the one on duty tomorrow was the fifth grade prefect, and things would be much easier if he took over.

"Of course... I have no problem with that."

He is always easy to talk to.

Ignoring the relief on the twins' faces, Andrew looked at the registration form and said, "Then you don't have to go to Mr. Filch to deal with the chores today. You can help Professor Snape deal with the toad entrails tomorrow."

???

Why is it like this again!

Is there no relaxing and enjoyable work in Hogwarts? At worst, I can just copy books in the office as usual. Wasn't it you who suggested it? Why did you change your temper this year?
Where's Percy? Save Percy!

But it was no use. Percy was not on duty today. The two looked at each other and felt that Filch was not so miserable. "Considering the house points, we decided to help Mr. Filch. You know, it's not easy to get some house points these days."

"That's fine. Well, take the note and report."

-

"It's Filch again... It's too difficult to go to the hospital wing and meet Sirius."

"Of course, Filch has a lot to do... If we hadn't seen the records there, how would we have thought of looking for Sirius?"

The two of them were communicating in a low spirits.

Ever since Professor Binns became interested in the dusty history, Filch's old materials were turned out box by box, and the two people in detention naturally became part of the sorting team - considering the frequency of their mistakes, this was too normal.

As experienced troublemakers, the two of them almost instantly read Sirius' true identity from those records - they were all the ones who committed crimes!
So, they planned to ask for some information about Peeves. Of course, if possible, they wanted to see if the other party knew the Big Troublemaker. Their idol quartet was also great.

Going to the hospital to clean the chamber pot is a good way - it takes long enough, you won't be kicked out, and you won't make the other party angry and kick you out.

But such a perfect plan failed at the first step.

They tried to time the new fifth-year prefect's shift, but got it wrong - the roster had been changed for some reason.

-

"You guys handle these, write them once, and then I'll check them... Don't try to do anything fancy..." Filch was very familiar with the two bastards in front of him - in order to prevent them, he specially submitted a report to apply for a batch of anti-magic locks.

After staring at the two of them for a while and locking all the drawers, Filch finally felt relieved and went out for inspection.

"He has changed, he is not the same as before..."

George sighed.

"Yes, Mr. Filch was so generous when we got the Marauder's Map in our first year, but now the drawer is locked..."

"Okay, stop talking nonsense and get started!"

George interrupted Fred, then pulled out the Marauder's Map and quickly turned on the surveillance, while Fred quickly searched through the drawers.

"Damn it…can't he just forget once in a while?"

Fred grumbled as he searched, and finally opened only one drawer - but they soon found that it was written "Lost and Found".

"Lost and found? Damn..."

Confiscated materials are not someone else's, but lost and found is...

The two sighed in disappointment, but when they closed the drawer, a tattered notebook fell out and landed on the ground, with the cover on top.
"Merlin's beard, a thing from fifty years ago? How did it end up among the lost and found items?"

Fred picked it up and flipped through it casually - and found that the book was completely blank, with only one name, Tom Riddle.

"A blank book... fifty years ago... what does Filch want with this?"

He opened the drawer and prepared to put it back.

"Maybe there are some secrets hidden here, don't forget to keep the live map!"

George looked at the Marauder's Map and suddenly asked a question.

“But this is lost property…”

"Lost items from fifty years ago? Filch must have put it in the wrong box... or maybe it got stuck. Look at how tattered it is... maybe it's something that was left behind! If we can't find anything, then just return it. We come here often anyway!"

This explanation made sense - Fred put away the notebook and hid it on his body.

all the best.

The two of them quickly packed up their things and got to work, then handed the materials to Filch obediently.

Nothing happened - Filch examined the materials, checked the lock, and then watched the two men leave.

'Unbelievable success!'

The two looked at each other and saw this meaning in each other's eyes.

Only when they were far away did they quicken their pace and jog.

"Secret base, go analyze it! Maybe this is another tool of those people!"

They quickly passed the stairs, and then started from the secret passage and walked all the way underground - there was an empty room there that would not be disturbed by others. It was found by them in the first grade.

Let’s put Sirius and the rest aside, now is the time to dig for new treasure!
