Chapter 123 One Point Difference

When the seventh grade was sent away, the examinations for the ordinary students came.

Although Hogwarts is full of adventure, friendship, youth, passion and other elements, this castle is ultimately built for education, and examinations are an integral part of education.

'I understand the reason, but why is the environment so different here?'

Because it was quite late in the evening, the temperature was extremely hot during the exam for Andrew and his classmates. The large classroom used for the exam was far less comfortable than the restaurant, and the only anti-cheating measure was a simple anti-cheating feather pen.

Andrew made a sad discovery - according to the anti-cheating methods he learned in OWLs, he could easily get a high score in this not-so-rigorous exam.

'But I can't cheat - and if I can't do it, I can't do it. What's the point of getting a high score?'

Transfiguration was accomplished with ease, whether it was the morning papers or the afternoon practicals.

Potions, the paper might not be so good, but the practical results were perfect. As for which one it is, it depends on the professor's mood - Andrew guessed that he probably wouldn't get an O.

Charms class, the practical operation is fine, although Professor Flitwick is a little dissatisfied with Andrew's pineapple dance steps, but it should have an E.

Astronomy, Andrew still didn’t buy the astronomy model set, but after all, the stars remain unchanged, O or E.

Defense Against the Dark Arts… there's not even an exam for that.

Herbology, I barely finished the paper, but for practical… well, it should be an A. If the professor gives me some leeway, maybe an E.

History of Magic, A for sure!

Even though his own writing messed up the existing timeline and nearly made him answer a lot of questions wrong, he could definitely pass!

After taking his last exam, History of Magic, Andrew made the above prediction about his grade, but it was of no use because he knew his grade the next morning.

"She performed at the expected level in Transfiguration, one point higher than Miss Granger, which was exactly the full score, but the other subjects were far behind..."

When Andrew came over to deal with the documents after the exam, Professor McGonagall pushed the paper to him and said so.

"I've asked the professors to look at the rest of your papers. You got an O in Potions, but Professor Snape said you were just lucky and just reached the standard. Astronomy barely got an O. Your Charms foundation is not solid enough, so it's okay overall, but it's a little short of the O standard. The rest of your homework is barely E... Miss Granger got all Os, and only Potions and Transfiguration were deducted one point. The rest are full marks."

So scary…

Andrew showed a very sincere expression of surprise - he had taken the test himself and knew that this system was not that simple. If he spread out his time, he could get all O's, but getting full marks... It was a bit stressful...

It's like putting him back in his old high school. After re-studying, he can get a higher score in the college entrance examination without any pressure. But to compete for the top spot is easy to say...

"I don't know why she took points off in Potions, but if she hadn't marked your paper first, she would have gotten full marks in Transfiguration..."

...

Professor, I don't feel guilty about you doing this, because it's likely nothing good will happen afterwards.

Sure enough, Professor McGonagall handed over two blank papers. "Please complete the second and third year papers - they must reflect your true level."

Although he knew that he would most likely have to accompany Percy and the others to grade papers after this task was completed, Andrew still did not let up - he had to show what he had mastered so that Professor McGonagall could recommend appropriate materials based on his level. Only fools would be lazy about this kind of thing.

It took Andrew less than two hours to finish both papers - during which time Percy had been working on holiday documents at another desk, while Professor McGonagall was marking papers over there.

As for the other three prefects, like the rest, they are responsible for maintaining order among all the students after they have finished their exams - this is no easier than office work.

"Finished?" Professor McGonagall looked up from the table.

"Yes, Professor."

Andrew's papers were quickly reviewed - both received full marks.

"Very good. Next you will be responsible for grading the papers of the second and third grades. Don't worry about the first grade. It will be meaningless to you."

"Give me the particularly good and poor papers for review," Professor McGonagall placed a stack of papers in front of Andrew - several of which had been picked out for advance review.

The professor glanced at the paper and hesitated for a moment, but then his eyes became sharp again when he looked at Andrew's paper. "Be more ruthless and don't give any points that shouldn't be given."

"I'll go and check on the transcripts to see when they can be submitted in full - you guys should get off work overtime these two days."

???

催?
Andrew suddenly remembered his very advanced score in History of Magic - the rest were fine, Professor Binns, didn't you let them go?

But Professor McGonagall was determined - she soon left, leaving Andrew and Percy behind.

"You got full marks in the third grade, but you almost failed the rest of the subjects - your bias in subjects is really serious."

After Andrew gave him two trophy Nats and said he would not associate the twins' behavior with Percy, Percy, who came to settle the score, had reconciled with Andrew.

"I just spent too much time watching Transfiguration."

"I've marked all the papers for you - I didn't do that back then."

"The first graders didn't give it to me either..." Andrew spread his hands, "The only way to avoid suspicion of cheating is to not correct the work of classmates... After all, this is not homework."

"Makes sense."

Percy nodded, "But how are you spending your summer vacation?"

"How are you spending your summer vacation?"

Andrew was stunned for a moment - the invitation didn't sound like an invitation, the warning didn't sound like a warning, so how could he get through it?
"That is, you can't study magic during the summer vacation. You know the notice prohibiting spellcasting during the vacation."

!!!

Andrew was so stressed out by the exam that he completely forgot about it.

A whole summer without being able to cast spells - this is more tiring than invigilating exams!

After the exam, I can still find time to practice my ideas and do some spellcasting training. It’s a long vacation without spellcasting...

"Don't think about it, just go and grade the papers."

Percy turned his head. Although he couldn't see the expression on his face, Andrew was sure that it was definitely not a friendly smile - this guy was relying on his previous experience to attack him!

Otherwise, why would you mention summer vacation for no reason?
Asshole, didn’t we agree before that this time of tricking you is over?
"Well... you can read books. After all, in books..." Andrew paused. He didn't know how to describe her beauty. "After all, knowledge is in books. Even without a wand, you can feel it. I just don't know if an owl can lead people to it?"

……

Percy lowered his proud head, and Andrew delivered a critical hit!
