268. Sorry, failed
Sorry, it's over.
I hesitated for several days, but I still made this decision. I feel sorry for the dozens of friends who are still following me. However, the increasingly serious writer's block and the increasingly tight schedule made me finally make this decision.

Let me summarize some of the problems in this book (I hope it will be useful in the next book)
This book... should be an example of having traffic but not catching it. On the one hand, it was because it was my first time writing a book, and my grasp of the rhythm was really a bit laggy. I was able to maintain the first 30 chapters because I polished it repeatedly before starting the book, but after I used up all my saved manuscripts, the daily typing left me with little time to polish it.
Another issue is the outline. I wrote an outline for myself before I started writing the book, but after tearing it down and rebuilding it several times, the outline gradually became very fragmented and loose. By the time I wrote about the dream-layer plot, the outline was completely ruined... I felt like the story was directly out of my control.
I feel that the outline should not be as simple as I imagined. Although the outline of the story line looks clear, I can feel the paleness of the outline when I use it. Some very good plots or climaxes in my mind have become very fragmented when written down...
In addition, this book also has some problems in character description. When describing the characters, I did not prepare well, which resulted in the character template being pale and not very likable. In the final analysis, it was because I did not prepare well enough.
Take your time... I still like to write something, but next time if I start a book, I will be more focused. At least I will sort out the outline and other things before starting the book, and then check the information, at least make sure the details such as the world view and the outline are clear.
When I was looking for information for this book, I read some social science books about wizards and mysticism. Although I didn't use them in this book, I felt that there were many interesting things in them.
For example, the relationship between witches (witch rituals), horned gods and demons, as well as the relationship between the witch-horned god system and the religious invasion of Catholicism. The horned god was stigmatized as a demon, and the invading gods became orthodox; the "potions" cooked by witches were actually dark cuisine, as well as their elf companions and the sacredness of salt...
However, I don’t know much about these things yet, and I’m still taking time to read up on medieval history. Let me do some more research, and perhaps I can reproduce some of the ideas in this book in another form.
