You can guide people to be good, that's fine, that's great. But you can't stand on the high ground of morality and speak out. You can talk nonsense about things that you haven't experienced, but if it really happens to you, it will backfire.

It is only natural for Xuan to seek revenge, especially in Li Chengxi's opinion. He even thinks that the way of revenge is too mild. If it were him, he would not let it go for forty years, nor would it be so simple. He would definitely do everything he can.

Isn't it moral kidnapping to use suffering that you have never experienced to demonstrate your own moral superiority?

It's like saying that killing one person can bring world peace, choosing between human life and the overall situation.

Deliberately put asymmetric choices on the scale and let most people choose the one that carries more weight. Then you jump out and use your own morality to weigh on the lighter side so that the scale returns to zero.

In this way, one can demonstrate the depth of one's morality.

This metaphor may not be entirely accurate, but it is also Li Chengxi's attitude towards moral issues.
