Building a sect from scratch.

Chapter 251, Don't Touch Me

"You deserve to die!"

A rumbling sound came from above, and the figure of the Immortal Siyang looked furious.

A gigantic hand slammed down, obscuring the sky, but it was too slow, and Zhang Can easily dodged it.

Zhang Can narrowed his eyes: "Hmm, after your primordial spirit left your body, the soul that remained to guard your physical body reacted much slower. Why is that?"

"You deserve to die!"

Siyang Immortal seemed determined to capture Zhang Can's image, raising his hands high and slamming them down repeatedly with both hands. However, because his movements were so sluggish, Zhang Can was able to dodge the attacks effortlessly by moving back and forth.

However, he soon noticed that no matter how Si Yang Xianren lowered his palm, he seemed to be intentionally avoiding the pile of villagers' bones.

There may be some reason behind it, but it certainly isn't for environmental protection.

"It's really strange. You don't look like that old scoundrel I know at all..."

Zhang Can muttered to himself, "Forget it, never mind all that. Villains die from talking too much. It's not important to find out what secrets are behind this. Winning is what matters!"

As he spoke, he raised his head, used the system's energy to gather spiritual power, and pointed a finger towards the sky.

The sky is broken.

This small grotto-world was specially created by the Immortal Siyang to "deceive the heavens." It couldn't be too real, nor too fake. If it were too real, heavenly tribulations would gather within the small world, rendering it useless. If it were too fake, it wouldn't serve its purpose of isolation.

Therefore, the flowers, plants, and trees in this world are real, but humans, or rather, only intelligent races, do not exist. The villagers are withered bones and mud, and the birds and beasts are all in a daze. The sun, moon, and stars that heaven and earth conjure are merely reflections of the Void Realm.

This kind of small world, which is stuck at the critical point between being real and unreal, is relatively easy to destroy. But once it can operate on its own, it becomes very difficult to destroy.

The moment the sky of this small cave world was torn apart, Si Yang, who had just barely controlled the avatar of the Supreme God Taiyi, suddenly felt a frantic warning from his spiritual senses. Then, he felt the guidance of the Lianshan Bagua Plate—it seemed that something had happened to his physical body!

Before Immortal Siyang could ponder further, dark, oppressive clouds began to gather in the sky. These clouds, like seawater being absorbed by a sponge, spread from scattered locations to coalescing over the entire Rongyu Mountain range, blotting out the sun. If it weren't for the lightning and thunder, and the flashes of purple light within the clouds, which offered some visual contrast, it would have been pitch black!

The tribulation clouds were extremely powerful, and it was clear at a glance who they were aimed at. Immortal Siyang's expression turned very ugly, and Immortal Siyin also frowned, looking at his senior brother with worry.

What the Immortal Si Yin was worried about was not the possibility of Si Yang's death itself, but that if Si Yang died because of the Heavenly Tribulation, the entire Taiyi Ziwei Sect would suffer. The Tribulation Clouds were area-of-effect attacks and could not accurately distinguish whether the people they struck were those who deserved to die. Since ancient times, there have only been those who were implicated by the Heavenly Tribulation, and there has never been a case of anyone escaping. Even if someone was accidentally injured, there would be no place to seek justice!
More importantly, since they have already offended the Supreme God Taiyi, if his senior brother were to abandon the Supreme God Taiyi's incarnation in order to save his own life, wouldn't that be a pointless offense?
If I had known better, I shouldn't have let Si Yang go and invite the god just to improve Si Yang's cultivation level and to avoid directly offending the Supreme God Taiyi!

Si Yin Xianren thought this in his heart, but showed no sign of it on his face.

In this moment of desperation, Immortal Siyang disregarded the need to familiarize himself with the avatar of the Supreme God Taiyi. Instead, he exerted all his strength, thrusting his sword towards Fang Xianyu on the horizon. This sword was a magical artifact personally forged by the Supreme God Taiyi, rendering it completely immobile. Even with the aid of the Supreme God Taiyi's avatar, Immortal Siyang could only "push" the sword forward, not actually wield it. Yet, even so, the blade was imbued with both yin and yang malevolent energies, as if Fang Xianyu were locked in place, forced to remain motionless by the sword's energy! Let alone an ordinary cultivator, even a celestial being would find this sword too much to withstand!
However, to everyone's surprise, although Fang Xianyu had no way to dodge, when the sword light touched his face, a blue spiritual energy "shield" suddenly appeared around him. The shield was like an eggshell, protecting him firmly inside.

A sword strike that would be painful even for immortals and gods was easily withstood by Fang Xianyu!

Seeing this, Immortal Siyang was utterly perplexed. He thought to himself, 'Could it be that this Fang Xianyu has already attained immortality?!'

But as soon as the thought crossed her mind, she immediately dismissed it: 'No, impossible. If she had truly attained immortality, how dare she act so recklessly, attacking my Taiyi Ziwei Sect? Doesn't she fear the heavenly tribulation?'

Only Fang Xianyu, seeing that he had lost several hundred points of system energy, felt a pang of heartache and desperately drew out several floors of spiritual energy.

Having failed with his first attack, Immortal Siyang stopped wasting time on Fang Xianyu. He then controlled the avatar of the Supreme God Taiyi to concentrate and raise his hand, unleashing a second sword strike. However, this time, the sword was aimed at the few remaining Taiyi Sect disciples and the largest flying boat in the distance.

Everyone had already figured out that most of the Taiyin Sect disciples who had "resurrected" had been transported here via the teleportation array on the flying boat. Destroying the teleportation array would at least be of some use!
The sword energy flew very slowly, seemingly giving people ample time to escape, but it had immense force. Players locked onto by the sword energy couldn't move at all. Many felt their hair stand on end, a huge panic welled up from the bottom of their hearts, and their hearts almost jumped out of their throats!

However, this "hard control" only exists on the characters (puppets) controlled by the players, and has no effect on the players themselves. Therefore, all everyone heard was Wang Ergou shouting in the military alliance channel, his voice cracking: "Help! Help! The captured NPCs are still up there! Ahhh, help me—"

"Fuck!"

"Oh no! If the prisoner dies, will they not calculate my contribution points?!"

"What do I do? What do I do?!"

Hearing Wang Ergou's shout, the other players also became anxious—the prisoners they had captured after so much hardship and loss of life were waiting to be exchanged for contribution points when the final battle ended and the scores were tallied. If they died and didn't count, wouldn't all their hard work over the past few hours have been for nothing?

Those who reacted quickly came up with a solution immediately and started posting it in various channels.

"Get it up! Get it all up!"

"Take the damage! Those who can move, hurry up and take the damage!"

"You shameless boss, don't touch my contribution points!"

This solution was proposed based on common sense that everyone understands when playing other games. The players who were closest to the sword light rushed to meet it, one, two, a dozen, dozens, hundreds.

Wang Ergou wanted to say that it might not be useful, but before he could even open his mouth, he saw that the sword light that had killed hundreds of players had indeed dimmed considerably, and his eyes lit up immediately.

Then, to the disbelief of all the "NPCs," almost all the players, even the newbies around level ten who had been watching from afar, rushed towards the sword light, attempting to block it before the unconscious NPC prisoner on the airship. (End of Chapter)
