The brown-handed man laughed and said, "Don't you think I'll change my mind just because you didn't say 'yes'?"

“If I didn’t say ‘yes’ but also ‘no,’ it seems you don’t need to change anything,” the gray-handed man chuckled. The brown-handed man asked, “Would you say ‘no’?”

The gray-handed man chuckled, "I'm wondering if saying 'no' would have any effect?"

“You see, you’re thinking about whether it will work first, instead of whether you can say it well,” said the brown-handed man.

"That sounds reasonable, doesn't it?" Grayhand said. "Think about it, if saying it wouldn't make any difference, would it even be worth saying it?"

"Although you said 'yes,' after I said, 'So I can go around in circles from now on?' you said to me in this tone: 'Of course I can. Besides, in this situation, whether I say yes or not is unlikely to have any impact.'" The brown-handed man laughed.

“You’ve imitated my tone of voice again, and quite well. What are you trying to say?” the gray-handed man asked.

The brown-handed man chuckled, "When you hear me mimicking your tone of voice, do you sense a kind of 'helplessness'?"

The gray-handed man said, "Do I need you to imitate my tone of voice to understand that? Those words were spoken by myself."
