The gray-handed man said, "What kind of reaction do you think would make me understandable to you?"

The brown-handed man chuckled, “For example, after I say ‘illusion,’ you might say in a tone like, ‘How do you know it’s an illusion?’”

"So you can figure it out now?" the gray-handed man asked.

"That's relative. If you react like that, I'd say I can figure you out," said the brown-handed man.

"What exactly do you mean by 'being able to figure things out'?" Grayhand asked.

“I’ll basically assume that the idea that ‘if I really don’t say anything, I’ll definitely regret it later’ is just wishful thinking. You could also say that I’m actually suited to not saying anything at all,” the brown-handed man laughed.

The gray-handed man laughed and said, "Now that I'm in this situation, you can't figure me out? Was my reaction really that perplexing?" The brown-handed man laughed and said, "Of course it was. You just said to me in this tone, 'An illusion? You think it's an illusion?' And you were smiling when you said it, as if you were hiding something. The gray-handed man asked, "After I said that, what do you tend to think?"

The brown-handed man chuckled, “I tend to think that if I really don’t say anything, I’ll very likely regret it later. That’s a very high possibility.”

"In what specific ways does it manifest itself?" Grayhand asked.

“It’s slowing down my decision-making process,” the brown-handed man said. “That counts as slowing down my decision-making.”

The gray-handed man laughed and asked, "How much did that slow down your decision-making?"

“How would I know?” the brown-handed man laughed.

"Don't you realize it yourself?" Grayhand said. "Can't you even say how much slower your decision-making process was? Can't you even give an approximate timeframe?"

The brown-handed man laughed and said, "Of course I can't say."

"During this time, did you not have a noticeable sense of time?" the gray-handed man asked.

The brown-handed man laughed and said, "Of course not. Because I haven't made a decision yet! What you just said slowed down my decision-making process, and I didn't dare to make a decision immediately. If you want me to tell you how slow my decision-making is, I have to make a decision first. Without making a decision, I can't know how long it will take, and if I don't even know how long it will take, how can I know how slow it is? Do you think my reasoning is sufficient?"

"Are you going to wait for my decision now?" the brown-handed man asked.
