Chapter 7381 Real Power

Chapter 7381 (Seven Thousand Three Hundred and Eighty-One) Real Power

The brown-handed man laughed and said, "Didn't you explain it quite clearly? Why did you think I might not agree with my explanation?"

"Haha! Think about that sentence again now," said the gray-handed man.

“I’m still thinking about it. I’ve already said it out loud, but I’m still thinking about it after I’ve said it,” the brown-handed man laughed.

“There’s an ‘not necessarily’ in it,” the gray-handed man laughed. “I just assumed you might not think my explanation makes sense, is that alright?”

The brown-handed man said, "You mean, if you said 'not necessarily,' then there's no problem?"

“Of course, you’ve even said ‘not necessarily,’ so what’s there to argue about?” the gray-handed man asked. “In this kind of environment, anything can be said to be uncertain.”

The brown-handed man said, "But you already had a bias when you said that."

“I’d like to hear what you have to say,” said the gray-handed man.

Brownhand said, “What you mean is that even if you explain it, I may not think your explanation makes sense, rather than ‘even if you explain it, I may not think your explanation is unreasonable.’ Although both of them say ‘may not,’ one says it’s not certain that it exists, while the other says it’s not certain that it doesn’t exist, so the inclinations they convey are different.”

The gray-handed man laughed and said, "You think that when I said 'I don't necessarily think your explanation makes sense,' I was actually inclined to think 'you probably don't think my explanation makes sense,' right?"

The brown-handed man said, "Isn't that pretty obvious? Otherwise, you could have said, 'Even if you explained it, I might not think your explanation is unreasonable,' right?"

“That’s true, but I could have chosen not to say it that way just now,” Grayhand said.

The brown-handed man said, “Since you chose to say ‘I don’t necessarily think your explanation makes sense’ instead of saying that, your inclination is clear enough.”

The gray-handed man laughed, "It's not that you can't think that way. Besides, I can't control what you think." The brown-handed man said, "If you really want to, you can."

"Really? How do you do it?" the gray-handed man asked curiously.

The brown-handed man said, "Yes, there are many ways."

“Can you give me an example?” the gray-handed man said.

“Just tell me your thoughts directly,” the brown-handed man laughed.

"Does telling you influence your thinking?" the Grayhand continued to ask.

The brown-handed man laughed and said, "At least this way it's possible to influence my thoughts."

Grayhand said, "It's only a 'possibility.' I thought you had some sure-fire way to do it."

The brown-handed man joked, "You're so eager to know a sure way to do it? If so, does that mean you really want to influence my thinking?"

The gray-handed man said, "This is something you came up with out of thin air. Why would I try to control your thoughts? I asked you that question just now because you said, 'If you really want to control them, you can.' I asked you how out of curiosity. I only asked out of curiosity, not because I really wanted to control your thoughts. Now I think I know what other methods you might have thought of."

The brown-handed man laughed and said, "Yes, that's exactly what you thought of."

“I haven’t said what I’ve thought of yet,” said the gray-handed man.

The brown-handed man laughed and said, "Although I didn't say it, you figured it out. I knew exactly what you were thinking."
