“But you emphasized that ‘this’ quite a bit,” said the gray-handed man.

"So what if I said something harsh or not?" the brown-handed man asked.

“You’re emphasizing the word ‘this’ so much, it’s like you’re complaining about why I asked such a question,” said the gray-handed man.

"Is that so?" the brown-handed man asked with a smile.

"You wouldn't deny even this, would you?" Grayhand said. "But if you don't admit it, there's nothing I can do."

"Your first thought was that I wouldn't admit it?" the brown-handed man asked.

The gray-handed man laughed and said, "You asked 'Is that so?' Doesn't that sound like you're denying it?"

The brown-handed man said, "If you say it looks like it, then it does."

"You seem so helpless, don't you?" the gray-handed man asked.

The brown-handed man just chuckled.

“Look, you haven’t expressed anything clearly for so long, you’ve just been smiling,” said the gray-handed man. “Since that’s the case, I don’t need to ask any more questions. As for whether you didn’t give your evaluation just now because I didn’t ask you to give your evaluation in the first place, or whether you had other ideas, I’ll figure that out myself.”

"Oh? I thought you were going to say you were going to just abandon the idea," the brown-handed man laughed. "But you're saying you should figure it out yourself."

Grayhand said, "Actually, it's about the same."

The gray-handed man laughed and said, "What if I told you you guessed wrong?"

“Wrong guess? That’s perfect,” the brown-handed man laughed. “I actually hope I’m wrong about this question.”

The gray-handed man asked deliberately, "Are you trying to provoke me?"

The brown-handed man laughed and said, "How will I provoke you?"

"It was those kinds of words that prompted me to explain why they were about the same," the gray-handed man laughed.

“I didn’t do that on purpose,” the brown-handed man laughed.

The gray-handed man said, "Whether you did it on purpose or not, the situation will be pretty much the same from now on."

"What's going on?" the brown-handed man asked.

The gray-handed man laughed and said, "I'll explain to you why it's about the same. Even if you don't necessarily think my explanation makes sense."

"You haven't even said anything yet, and you're already assuming I might not think your explanation makes sense? You're thinking that far ahead?" the brown-handed man laughed.

"Couldn't I have thought of this in advance?" Grayhand asked.

"You're thinking about this in advance, and you're even considering that I might not think it makes sense, and what if things don't turn out this way?" the brown-handed man asked.

"Isn't that even better?" Grayhand laughed.

“You want me to believe that your explanation makes sense, don’t you?” the Brown-Handed Man asked.
