"Is this considered a failure?" Grayhand asked.

The gray-handed man laughed and said, "When you repeated what I said just now, I'm sure you heard the last part."

"What does the end mean?" the brown-handed man asked.

“You even heard the ‘ba’,” the gray-handed man laughed. “The last word I said was ‘ba’, so when I said I heard the last word, I meant I heard ‘ba’. When you repeated my words just now, you added the word ‘ba’, so I was sure you heard that last word.”

The brown-handed man said, “You’re right, I did hear the last word, and I did say the last word when repeating what you said, but what does that mean?”

Grayhand said, "That means you did hear that what I said wasn't 'very certain.' I only said 'probably not very willing to do it,' not that you were really not very willing to do it."

The brown-handed man laughed and said, "In my opinion, having this 'bar' is almost the same as not having it."

The gray-handed man laughed and said, "How can they be almost the same? They're clearly very different."

“Even though you said ‘maybe,’ that’s all you said,” the brown-handed man said. “What do you mean, ‘but that’s all I said?’ You mean that what I said isn’t enough to represent anything?” the gray-handed man asked.

“In my opinion, what you just said is indeed insufficient to represent anything,” the Brown-Handed Man laughed.

The gray-handed man said, "What do you mean? You think what I actually think is different from what I say?"

The brown-handed man chuckled, “Well, you can’t just say ‘different,’ but the degree to which you’re certain of what you’re saying is probably different.”

The gray-handed man laughed and said, "How certain are you? You haven't made that clear."

"Do I need to make it clear? Whether I've made it clear or not, you already know." The brown-handed man laughed.

“Look, you’re talking like that again,” the gray-handed man laughed.

"What's wrong?" the brown-handed man asked with a forced smile.

The gray-handed man said, "Just tell me."

“How can I just say it directly?” the brown-handed man asked.

“Just say it the way you want to say it directly,” the gray-handed man laughed.

"Is what I say necessarily what you want?" the brown-handed man asked.

“It must be,” said the gray-handed man.

The brown-handed man laughed and said, "You're absolutely right."

Grayhand said, “You can think that way, but in my opinion, that’s absolute. After all, to see if it’s really what I want, ‘first’ we have to see what I want, and I know best what I want.”
