"See, you're testing me again," the gray-handed man laughed. "Still not direct enough, just roundabout enough, isn't it?"

“I seem to have gotten used to asking questions tentatively when I speak,” said the brown-handed man.

“I understand,” Grayhand said. “So it’s not wrong of me to say that you talk in circles.”

The brown-handed man asked with a smile, "Aren't you being a bit too convoluted?"

"Why are you talking about me?" Grayhand asked.

"You don't need to worry about how it was said, it's already been said. It's about whether your way of speaking is convoluted enough. Do you think your way of speaking is convoluted enough?" the brown-handed man said.

“I need to figure out what you’re referring to when you said that,” Grayhand said.

The brown-handed man chuckled, "You want to hear me out in detail?"

The gray-handed man said, "Yeah. If you could just say it out loud, I might actually admit I'm quite good at talking in circles." The brown-handed man said, "Alright, then I'll explain. Before, you told me, 'Decision? Who says I can decide?' But later you said, 'It's not that I can decide anyway.' That's why I said, 'But the tone you used just now seemed even more certain.' Do you think the shift from 'Decision? Who says I can decide?' to 'It's not that I can decide anyway' signifies an increase in uncertainty?"

The gray-handed man laughed and said, "Since you asked that, I'll just answer that."

"What did I ask that led you to answer that way?" the brown-handed man asked.

The gray-handed man said, "You asked me, 'You mean you can't necessarily decide, right?' So naturally I told you that it's true I can't necessarily decide. Although I didn't directly say 'yes,' that was still my answer to your question."

The brown-handed man laughed and said, "But what was I asking this question about?"

The gray-handed man said deliberately, "You know that yourself."

“I do know,” said the Brown-Handed Man.

"Then tell me, so I can know too," said the gray-handed man.

“You already knew,” said the Brown-Handed Man.

The gray-handed man said, "So, do you still want to talk?"

The brown-handed man said, “Yes, I do. Let me tell you: ‘You just said to me, “Decide? Who said I could decide?’ You mean you might not be able to decide, right?” I’ve already completely repeated what you said to me when I said that, and my question is a direct response to what you said earlier.”

The gray-handed man smiled and said, "I understand."
