"But even if we use words that the Lord himself considers to be good, he can still tell whether we are saying them with an attitude of praising him," said the man with gray hands.

"Yes, if we praise him too much in normal times, won't it be easier for him to tell whether we are praising him with an attitude?" asked the man with gray hands.

When we praise him again, he may not even bother to listen carefully and just think it's all good words. He just skips the thought and feels complacent because we praise him."

"Complacent? It seems fresh to use this word to describe the Lord." said the man with gray hands.

"I never dared to use the word 'complacent' to describe the Lord before," said the brown-handed man.
