Some villagers shuddered after hearing these words, and they immediately shut up, fearing that their words would be heard by Yin Ruchen and Yan Moying.

"The person who took them away is most likely the murderer." Yan Moying speculated.

"That person killed Mr. Feng just when he was about to talk about what happened that year. It seems that the murderer or the mastermind behind him must be related to this incident. But why did he use the Liufeng Dart? Was he targeting me, or was it just to cover up his own identity?" Yin Ruchen guessed.

"It's hard to say now. Ruchen, do you have the prescription? I don't think it's advisable to stay here for long, we must take the prescription back quickly." Yan Moying said.

"Yeah!" Yin Ruchen responded, and left Feng Jinlei's house with Yan Moying.

When they reached the door, they saw the deaf-mute and a woman they had met at the entrance of the village walking towards them. When the villagers saw that they were looking for Mr. Feng, they grabbed the deaf-mute and said to the woman beside him, "Don't go in!"

The deaf-mute man gestured, trying to say that he was here for medical treatment.

"Mr. Feng prescribed some medicine for him three days ago and asked him to come today after taking it to determine if his ears can be cured." The woman explained.

"Mr. Feng has been assassinated." said the villagers.

"What?" The woman was surprised, but the deaf-mute man didn't understand what was going on.

The villager told the woman what he had just seen and heard. The woman was very sad and pulled the deaf-mute man back.
