Reborn to Love My Wife: The Lover That Time Can't Steal

Chapter 178 Deliberately Showing Off

Although she was not short of money, it would not cost much to make dozens of bottles. But if she made it and spread it out, she was afraid that it might have a bad impact! After all, other sisters-in-law did not make these things. If she was the only one who made these things, would people think she was deliberately trying to show off or something?

After listening to Su Nuo's words, Fan Linlin also felt that it made sense. "Then let's make six bottles! The bottles are a little bigger! You are right, if we make too many, the impact will not be so good!"

After Sunuo decided to make the beef sauce, he put it in a bottle. He had to let Lu Hongxuan take it quietly and distribute it to the soldiers. If he showed it off in public, it would not be good!

Sunuo still planned to ask the quartermaster to buy 20 kilograms of beef. It would only take a few kilograms to make six bottles. Now that the weather is cold, she can smear some salt on it and hang it on the railing in the kitchen. It can also be left to dry naturally in the wind. Anyway, it won't go bad in the cold!
"I plan to buy 20 kilograms! I will use a few kilograms for making this, and the rest will be for daily consumption! When the batch bought by my sisters-in-law arrives! We can almost finish it! Or if we have time, we can smoke some earlier!" Su Nuo said with a smile. The cured beef sent from home was eaten up. She couldn't help swallowing her saliva when she thought of the cured beef!
"Your idea is good! Then I'll buy the same one as you! But I don't know how to make it, you have to teach me!" Fan Linlin said with a smile.

"Okay!" Su Nuo nodded and agreed.

The two of them went to find Chief Steward Xu. Hearing that Sunuo and Fan Linlin wanted to buy 20 kilograms of beef each, Chief Steward Xu was shocked at first. Although there are many cattle in the snowy area, the price is not cheap. But he immediately recovered his composure. The families of these two sisters-in-law are all well-off. 20 kilograms of beef may seem like a lot to others, but for the two sisters-in-law, it is just ordinary.

"No problem! I will buy the things for the two sisters-in-law tomorrow!" Chief Steward Xu agreed with a smile.

"Thank you, Chief Steward Xu!" "Thank you, Chief Steward Xu!"

"You're welcome!"

Su Nuo and Fan Linlin turned around and walked back. Chen Mei and the others saw Fan Linlin and Su Nuo walking back from the kitchen. They asked them with a smile, "Linlin, are you and Su Nuo going to ask the quartermaster to bring something back?"

"Yes! Please ask the quartermaster to bring us some beef!" Fan Linlin replied with a smile.

"Beef! This is good stuff! Beef is the most abundant thing here! You two seem to like beef! Are you planning to smoke it or something? We plan to ask the quartermaster to bring the stuff back in a few days and start smoking it!"

"We plan to eat some, and then smoke some! Send some back for our family to try. The New Year is coming soon, and the express delivery will stop early! We have to make it early. Otherwise, the express delivery will stop, and we won't be able to send anything. Although the post office is not closed! But the speed will be a bit slow!" Sunuo explained with a smile.

"So that's how it is! Sunuo, you are so thoughtful!" Li Li became a little anxious after hearing Sunuo's answer. "Should we talk to Chief Steward Xu and ask him to send it a few days earlier? What if the express delivery is really stopped? We won't be able to send the things we want to send back!"

"The express delivery is going to stop. I actually forgot about this! We have to get there early!"

"I originally thought that the later it got, the more delicious the food would be! But I forgot that express delivery would stop during the Chinese New Year!"

Chen Mei listened to everyone's words and nodded. "Then I'll go talk to Chief Steward Xu and ask him to bring it back tomorrow or the day after tomorrow! We can start fumigating earlier!"
