Chapter 73 Remarks on the launch

Chapter 73 Remarks on the launch
After writing 200,000 words in a month, it is finally going to be put on the shelves. I am very nervous inside, as if I am just performing on the street to make a living, and now it is time to ask for money.

The data during the free period of this book cannot be said to be bad, it is very bad. The ups and downs of the data are almost catching up with my electrocardiogram.

Of course, it is normal that the data is not good. When I wrote the beginning, I thought that the results might not be very good. After all, it is completely different from my previous writing style. This is a period story. Many readers who used to read my books may not be used to my lukewarm beginning to tell the story.

After all, the pace at which I wrote the story and the volume of 200,000 words were probably enough for the protagonist to defeat the first opponent, show his prowess, and sharpen his knife to approach the next target.

But in this book of 200,000 words, the protagonist hardly ever ventured out of the county town or even the commune.

In fact, I have written an opening with a rhythm similar to that of my original work, which was a bit like Mr. Kong Ergou’s Past in the Northeast. I threw it there after writing a few chapters. I didn’t need the editor to help me judge. I knew that it was a case of actively asking for a 404 error.

In the first few days after the book was published, I remember I was chatting in a WeChat reader group. I said that the performance of this book didn't seem to be very good. The number of follow-up readers was frighteningly low, with about 3,000 collections and 200 to 300 follow-up readers. If it really wasn't doing well, I might as well give it up as soon as possible and start a Hong Kong police and gangster story called "Big Tea and Rice". I would also teach my son Ji Yue how to write a Hong Kong story.

Unexpectedly, the number of readers gradually increased. Although it is still not much, it made me realize that there seem to be readers who can accept domestic period stories written at a slower and more peaceful pace. It is not necessary to deliberately write stories that are intense, excessive, brutal, and angry.

Thank you all for reading these 200,000 words. Thank you also for your comments on this chapter. I will read every one of them. It’s just that I use the Writer Assistant APP to read your comments and chapter statements, and I can’t use it to reply in time because it doesn’t have the reply and like functions. It only has the function of viewing comments. To reply, I have to switch to the Qidian APP, which is a bit troublesome, so I seldom reply or like.

If you still see comments criticizing me and this book in the book review section, it may be because I am too generous but also because I am lazy.

Thanks to my editor Mr. Dou for his guidance.

I'm not flattering you, but Mr. Dou strictly rejected several of my openings, including those of fantasy texts, historical texts, etc. Finally, he had a keen eye and picked out this period text that had a completely unattractive beginning. He also told me that there was absolutely no problem with this book, and that I should keep the pace steady and that I would be successful if I could write three million words.

I always feel that he is fooling me, but I have no evidence. Never mind, I'll thank him now, and then I'll kill him when the book fails.

Thanks to my moderator Dabao, who seems to be called the operations officer now.

Thank you Mr. Bao for taking the time to manage the book review section and chapter talk for me while you are enjoying the services at various foot massage shops every day.

Thanks to the deputy moderator Sansi, every day when Dabao goes for foot massage, he takes over the management of the book review area and chapter talk.

Thanks for Shizhi Gouhua. I don't know why I should thank this guy. This book doesn't have enough fans, not even a little fan, which led to him not being assigned as a manager. If you see this, you'd better have some idea of what's going on...

I would like to thank my reader Charlotte K, who found a young lady to shoot a short video for me to advertise this book when it was first published. The effect was very good. I guess many of the collections of this book were for that young lady’s video, which led to my inflated collection and low number of readers.

In fact, he also found a muscular man to shoot a short video. Unfortunately, this book seems to have few female readers. It's a waste of money. If you want to see a macho man, just video chat with me.

Thanks to my former editor Xiye. Although I no longer work with him, he still pesters me. When I first started writing a book, he called me every now and then to point out the problems in the book and teach me how to deal with them. I was very moved. After all, we were ex-editors, but he was still so responsible. Later I found out that he wanted to have a reason to come to me offline, ask me to treat him to a meal, and even ask me to take him to KTV to sing with young ladies... After he ripped me off for a few meals, he never gave me any guidance again.

Thank you to all my readers for your follow-up reading, rewards, recommendations, monthly tickets, and messages for a month. Without your continued support, this book might have been cut shortly after it was published due to poor data and would not have been written until now.

Now that it is on the shelves, the author would like to ask all the godfathers to pay for the subscription if it is convenient. I rely on your subscription to support my family.

The book will be updated at 12 o'clock in the evening, with at least five updates on the day of release. Judging from the current reading data, the first order may be at most 5,000, so let's calculate it at 5,000. There will be an additional update when the first order reaches 6,000, and there will be an additional update for every 1,000 increase in subsequent orders.

During the period of listing, a minimum of two chapters will be updated every day, the leader will add one more chapter, and one more chapter will be added for every thousand monthly votes.

I will update other chapters when I remember to do so. Otherwise, if I only update two chapters a day, the editor will have to punish me.

Actually, at the beginning I wanted to write 10,000 words a day for a month, but I tried again and again in private to increase my typing speed. After persisting for half a month, I found that it was too difficult. It’s not that I couldn’t write it, but I found that if I forced myself to write to meet the word count every day, it would be easy to write randomly and deviate from the topic later. I have never tried to write this book with the rhythm of the story before, and I was afraid of breaking the story.

So please allow me to continue practicing in private to improve my typing speed and word count while ensuring quality. If there is any improvement, I will show you the results.

Finally, I would like to thank all the godfathers again for their love and support for this book. I wish you all good health and all the best.

It’s May Day, I hope you all have a comfortable holiday.

Finally, I recommend a few works:
Transfer Student: "My Book Friend Long Aotian"

This is a pseudonymous work by a genre master, with a strong personal style and humor. I have personally read the latest chapter and found the book very good.

Sheep who don't like to eat grass: "The Golden Age of Basketball"

This is the book by Mr. Yang, a well-known veteran basketball author. He is a man who has good looks but relies on his talent to make a living, and a strong man who updates tens of thousands of books every day.

Zheng Ziyou: Twenty Years of Jianghu in the Republic of China

I don’t know the author, but I saw this book on Qidian’s recommendation list while typing. I haven’t read the sequel yet, but I have finished the first volume, and I personally think it is very well written.
