Chapter 80 Legendary Mage vs. Lord of the Void

Chapter 80 Legendary Mage vs. Lord of the Void
"Dean Plank."

Sidney looked at the white-bearded old man in surprise: "Why are you here, you...you followed me?!"

"I'm not following you. I'm here for your teacher, Marshall, Sidney. He's hiding in your mind."

Planck shook his head slightly and walked forward slowly: "Remember, in the dean's office, you asked me for help. Marshall betrayed his faith and called himself the Lord of the Void. He has fallen into the evil god. You wanted to sever the sinful master-disciple relationship with your own hands."

"That's what happened..."

Sidney looked dazed, his thinking was disturbed and his memory was seriously impaired.

But he himself did not think so. He locked his eyes with Wayne and said with a grim face, "Thank you for your kindness, but it is no longer necessary. Marshall promised me that as long as I sacrifice this kid to him, he will never bother me again."

Wayne frowned and thought for a while. Things were more complicated than he had imagined.

The Lord of the Void is a fallen legendary wizard. His former name was Marshall, Sidney's teacher. In order to get rid of his teacher's entanglement, the unfortunate student asked Dean Planck for help.

Planck searched for the trace of the Void Lord and found Sidney who was parasitized by the Void Lord.

In order to understand the whole story, Wayne took a few steps back and came behind Planck. The name Planck sounded very quantum mechanics, and he was definitely a big shot without a doubt.

Plank looked at Wayne curiously: "Sidney, why is your teacher obsessed with a young man? Is there anything special about him?"

"Nothing special, and I don't care about it."

Sidney looked painful. "Dean Planck, I am one of the attending physicians at the Red Leaf Forest Asylum. He is just a magic apprentice. For the sake of Red Leaf Forest, please hand him over to me."

"I'm afraid this won't work!"

Planck flatly refused. After accepting Sidney's commission, apart from attending the cemetery gatherings, he spent the rest of his time tracking the whereabouts of the Lord of the Void.

The void universe is vast and boundless, and full of dangers. Even legendary wizards dare not stay in it for long. His way of pursuing the Lord of the Void is to wait for the other party to show up.

With the help of several old friends, Planck waited for his target this morning. He did not set off immediately, firstly to give Sidney a chance, and secondly to see what the Lord of the Void was looking for.

Planck was very surprised that the Lord of the Void cared about a magician's apprentice.

What's there for a magician's apprentice to care about? Is the Lord of the Void crazy?

Uh, it's crazy.

But this is not the point. According to Planck's inference, the Void Lord has regained some of his sanity and has not dissipated himself like other legendary wizards. His persistence in the magician's apprentice time and time again, even at the cost of his mind to return to the Chosen Continent, can only mean that the magician's apprentice is not as simple as it seems on the surface.

Interesting, I heard that the Holy Father Church is also searching for something in secret.

Thinking of this, Plank gave Wayne a friendly smile and said, "Let me introduce myself. I am Plank, the director of the Red Leaf Forest Lunatic Asylum. Young man, I am here tonight and no one can hurt you."

"Wayne, thank you, Dean. I'll leave it to you tonight."

Wayne took a few steps back again. The old man had a strange smile, which was very friendly. He couldn't tell what was strange about it. If he had to say it...

Weird color.

The corners of her mouth, those eyes, were lustful, as if she was lusting after his body.

Considering that the land beneath his feet was the Kingdom of Windsor, Wayne decided to stay away from Planck for safety reasons.

"Planck, he is just a magic apprentice. I am the attending physician of the mental asylum, a golden wizard, and possibly the high priest of the Church of Nature in the future!" Sidney was very angry. Planck actually got the answer to a question that was easy to get.

"Sidney, try to stay rational. Your thoughts belong only to you. You can completely cut off your connection with Marshall." Plank advised.

"Don't talk nonsense in front of me. At least I am much more rational than you. I know what to choose."

Sidney became even angrier after hearing this, a voice in his ear reminded him that once he cut off the past, his thinking and magic power would be greatly reduced. Without power, he would be worthless and would never be able to realize his dream.

"Sidney, you're going to go crazy and become like Marshall."

"Shut up, you old thing. I should be the one saying this. Look at your crazy look. You are the lunatic." Sidney roared ferociously. He heard contempt and ridicule in Planck's tone.

The roar turned into sound waves, rolling up the free wind elements and pouring down like raindrops.

For some reason, the rain wasn't heavy.

The fine drizzle shot down, came in front of Planck, hit the ripples, and disappeared in an instant.

Planck did not fight back, as if he was waiting for something. Sidney interpreted his actions as a disregard, and his rage grew, and his roar gradually became less human.

Sidney's strong body swelled up, and two white arms broke through his suit and came out from behind. He lowered his head and vomited, spraying out large pieces of white flesh foam.

The white foam continued to split and merge, merge and split again. Tentacles covered with tendons, veins and blood vessels covered the walls of the sewer, forming a huge wave that rushed towards Planck like a flood.

"Marshall, you finally came out."

This was the moment Planck was waiting for. A dark light flashed in his eyes, and the dark thought space slowly spread out under his feet.

Sidney may have flaws of one kind or another, he craves power and is extremely ambitious, but all magicians in the world are like this; no one is perfect and everyone has his or her own desires.

Planck believed that Sidney could still be saved. Even if he took a step back, the latter had served the Red Leaf Forest Insane Asylum for many years, and even if he had no merit, he had worked hard.

The legendary wizard's life force field unfolded, his mind moved the void, pulled down a projection, and constructed a unique three-dimensional space. This space replaced the original sewer, attached to the God-chosen Continent, and was independent of Planck's mind.

In this space, the Lord of the Void could not hide his thoughts and will. The humanoid tentacle monster lay on Sidney, covered Sidney's eyes with his hands, and its tentacles entangled and controlled Sidney's hands and feet. It also lowered its head and whispered in his ear.

Noticing Gangplank's gaze, the Lord of the Void raised his head, his disordered features grinning, "My student, he is jealous of your talent and is afraid that one day you will become the dean. What an ugly guy!"

Sidney roared loudly, his mental sanity rapidly declining, his flesh and blood gradually merged with the human-shaped tentacles, and the teeth in his mouth turned into white tentacles.

Suddenly, holy light filled the dark space, dispelling decadent darkness and injecting strength and hope.

Planck transformed into a humanoid light bulb, and the bright light was like an invisible giant hand, dragging the humanoid tentacle monster away from Sidney's torso.

The Lord of the Void's facial features stretched out, and his tentacles tightly wrapped around the student. Where their limbs touched, the already fused flesh was pulled out into disgusting white froth.

Seeing that he was about to be stripped away, the Lord of the Void also released his own life force field.

Two unique spaces, two completely different darknesses collided and collided. The indescribable sound made Wayne dizzy and his saliva was secreted violently, and his teeth were sore. There was a constant buzzing in his ears, which affected his vision and caused double vision. Where the two pieces of darkness touched, he saw a large amount of four elements bursting out.

A lot!

Very large amount.

Even if it is not as vast as the elemental space, it is enough to fill Wayne's life essence.

These four elements seemed to have been tamed, and each of them knew the way home. They were confused and entangled one second, and clearly separated the next, and one by one they found the right direction and returned to their owner.

Wayne was drooling at what he saw. His fellow villagers were imprisoned in the basement and suffered all kinds of abuse and torture. Someone had to step forward to save them.

Too bad it can't be saved!
If Planck were to profit from the war at this critical moment, he would be held accountable after the war even if he won.

Wayne can imagine the scene by putting himself in other people's shoes.

Planck Fly rubbed his hands and smiled like an evil god. How can you be so pretentious, kid? Come here, let the dean check you out.

After a brief stalemate, Planck drove the Lord of the Void out of Sidney's body. The humanoid tentacle monster hovered in its own space, one eye staring at the student and the other at Wayne.

"Marshall, your life has merged into the void. The Chosen Continent is not a territory you can set foot on. Go back. You are no match for me here." Planck said in a serious voice.

Unless he does anything stupid, the dean is still very dignified.

Not only the momentum, but also many props, rings, medals, holy grails, crosses, keys, necklaces...

These magic props surround Gangplank, and each prop has its own unique aura.

Wayne was stunned. Who was this old guy and why was he so wild?

With so many beliefs, can you worship them all?

If you lose your concentration one day and sing praises to the goddess of nature in front of the goddess of death, you will die on the spot!

"Haha, my life has not been integrated into any place. On the contrary, I have found the true meaning of life."

The Lord of the Void swayed his anthropomorphic body, calling himself a perfect life, and said proudly: "My mortal body has bound my mind. My current body is made of life magic. It is the original life form and the essence of the entire universe."

Planck shook his head, not wanting to say anything more to the madman. He raised his left hand, condensed a javelin made of blood-colored crystals, and threw it out with all his might, piercing through the head of the Lord of the Void.

Before the Lord of the Void could fight back, his right hand hidden under his white coat threw out a sunlight rope, wrapped it around Sidney's neck, and pulled him to his feet.

Darkness surged, Wayne's eyes blurred, and he returned to the familiar sewer.

He looked around but couldn't find the dark area, but in the cracks of the space collision, he discovered the four elements bursting out continuously.

"Gulp!" x2
Wayne swallowed his saliva, wishing he could take his fellow villagers away from the battlefield immediately. Considering that two legendary wizards were right in front of him, he decisively left.

Run first, now is not the time to take advantage.

After walking two steps, Wayne realized something was wrong. Why were there two sounds? And who was swallowing?

Sidney.

The Golden Mage lay motionless like a dead dog in the dark area, but he was no longer sleepy when he returned to the sewer. At this moment, he was staring at the ownerless four elements, wondering whether he should take the opportunity to make a fortune.

In the end, fear overwhelmed greed, and like Wayne, he didn't dare to act recklessly.

Seeing Sidney wake up, Wayne didn't dare to stay for long. He ran towards the sewer with a pistol in hand. Sidney glanced at him and said disdainfully: "What's the point of running? Even if you can run out of Lundan, you can't escape their sight."

As he was speaking, Sidney felt a cramp in his abdomen, and his stomach was churning, as if something was crawling down his esophagus to his throat.

Sidney's face turned pale and he quickly put his hand in his mouth, trying to induce vomiting to spit it out.

There was a sharp pain in his fingertips, his mouth was wet, and two fingers were bitten and bleeding.

"Sidney, my promise is still valid. Give him to me and I will never come to you again." The voice of the Lord of the Void came from Sidney's mouth. Under the instigation of this voice, he forgot his anger and fear towards the teacher, obeyed the order and began to chase Wayne.

The Lord of the Void was in a hurry. In order to get Wayne, he did not hesitate to split his mind into two, one to hold Planck back and the other to hide in Sidney's body.

Needless to say, the part that delayed Planck would most likely be lost. In order not to arouse Planck's suspicion, a lot of thought was put into the rear guard/cover, which resulted in heavy losses.

The Lord of the Void felt a pain in his heart as if his flesh was being cut. He comforted himself that he had succeeded in his strategy and avoided meaningless fights. Now as long as he could get Wayne and regain the elemental space, all the sacrifices would be worth it.

At the urging of the Lord of the Void, Sidney's feet were like the wind and his movements were extremely fast, but his mind and consciousness were irreversibly eroded. His eyes turned white and he was foaming at the mouth. Unless a medical miracle happened, he could not be saved.

This is inevitable. In order to complete the strategic deployment, the Lord of the Void is so ruthless that he does not even let himself go. Sidney, his student, is a tool from beginning to end. How could he care about the life or death of a tool?

Sidney's mind was severely damaged and he forgot the magician's methods. He only knew to chase Wayne on his feet. Wayne, however, was alerted by his supernatural sense and ran faster than a rabbit.

Wayne's physical and mental health is far superior to that of ordinary people. He has great strength, speed and endurance. When Sidney forgets his magic, the distance between the two gradually widens.

Finally, under the scolding of the Lord of the Void, Sidney stopped being a human being. Large amounts of white foam tentacles spurted out of his body, and his strange crawling method was so fast that even the strange creatures called it weird.

The sound of tentacles rubbing against the wall was getting closer and closer to Wayne's ears. He turned around suddenly, fired a few shots, and continued to run forward.

This time, the life barrier did not appear, and the bullet went straight through the jelly-like white foam.

Can break defense! Will lose blood!

Wayne keenly captured this scene, waved his hand to set up a wall of earth and fire to block the tentacle monster, trying to empty the tentacle monster's health bar through a war of attrition.

It was a good idea, but as the Lord of the Void gradually took over Sidney's body, his horrific thoughts gave birth to more and more foam. After a few breaths, Wayne's enemy was no longer Sidney.

The foaming flood hit the sewers, surrounding Wayne from multiple angles.

Seeing enemies everywhere, Wayne had to give up running away. Gangplank had just interrupted his spell, and this time he wanted to let the Lord of the Void see what true terror was.
