Chapter 117 Superman Failure
Falling from the sky, the shock wave of Superman's landing stirred up a circle of dust. After posing for a while, Superman slowly stood up and looked at the agents and soldiers around him and said:
"Is everyone okay?"

"We have no idea where it is, but constant events indicate that the Joker is here," an officer said to Superman.

"I will catch him the next time he attacks." Superman said confidently. He patted the officer on the shoulder and said with a smile, "Relax. I will kill that clown today."

As he spoke, Superman took the entire battlefield into his perception. As long as the Joker made a move, Superman would be able to discover it.

"Oh~ It's taken action. How dare I be so rampant here~" Superman smiled slightly, then disappeared in an instant, and then appeared next to a broken wall. A pale, long hand was grabbing a terrified soldier and dragging him to a sewer entrance under the broken wall.

A hot sight cut off the hand, Superman grabbed the severed wound, and then pulled hard, pulling out Pennywise with thick oil paint on his face.

"You are not from Earth." Pennywise, who was pulled out, did not show any panic. Instead, he looked at Superman with a nostalgic look and said, "This smell, you are from Krypton."

"You weirdo, you know a lot." Superman looked at Pennywise and sneered, then rushed forward and tore off all of Pennywise's hands and feet like tearing dough.

"That's all?" Throwing Pennywise's hands and feet down and looking at Pennywise who had lost his limbs on the ground, Superman said with disdain. If he had known this guy was so useless, he would have flown over directly.

It turned out that the psychological trauma left by the Sadako incident last time was too big, causing me to be timid. After all, how many monsters in this world can bring me trouble?

Shaking his head in self-mockery, Superman couldn't help but find it a little funny that he was too cautious before. It was just a mere weirdness. Wasn't it easy to deal with?
At this moment, a strange laugh suddenly sounded in the air, but Superman was very sure that the sound was not made by Pennywise on the ground with his limbs torn off.

Super hearing quickly locked onto the source. Superman saw that the limbs of Pennywise that he had just torn off and thrown away turned into spider-like monsters, flying towards Superman. Their legs were as sharp as spears, stabbing straight at Superman, as if they wanted to pierce him through.

A disdainful smile flashed across Superman's face, and his eyes were full of contempt for the abilities of these monsters. If he was disgusted by the weirdness, he might be a little scared, but physical attacks and nuclear bombs could not break Superman's defense.

Sure enough, when these spider-shaped spear tips came into contact with Superman's skin, which was as hard as steel, they broke in the face of this incredible hardness, making a crackling sound, just like fragile branches hitting hard rocks.

Superman stretched out a hand, as if selecting an unfortunate target, and quickly grabbed one of the spider monsters that tried to get behind him. Superman's movements were easy and graceful, as if he was slapping a nasty bug. With just a light slap, the unfortunate little monster was smashed into pieces, turning into a pile of minced meat that no longer posed a threat.

Then, without hesitation, Superman turned to the remaining three spider monsters. His movements were swift and precise, and he easily crushed them one by one, like crushing empty shells that could not resist. Each monster could not survive for more than a moment under his feet. Their bodies were like thin paper in front of Superman's strength and were easily torn apart.

In less than half a second, all four monsters created by Pennywise were killed.

"It's your turn next." Looking at Pennywise, Superman's eyes began to glow, focusing a powerful beam of light that went straight through Pennywise's body and scorched the surrounding area. As Superman's eyes moved, Pennywise's body was completely scorched, turning into a pile of charred wreckage that no longer moved. "Done."

Superman crossed his arms, thinking to himself, "As expected of me." Then the charred remains of Pennywise suddenly began to twist and deform, and a huge image gradually took shape.

It was an enormous spider, each of its eyes flashing with strange light, its eight long legs moving on the ground, making creepy sounds, and a strange hissing sound coming from its mouth, as if declaring war on Superman.

"You have quite a strong vitality." Superman complained and slowly took off, lowering himself to a high enough height to look down at the giant spider. He looked down at the giant spider and said disdainfully, "Ordinary superheroes may not be your opponent, but unfortunately, you are facing me today."

As long as he is still on the physical side, Superman is not afraid no matter how big or strong it becomes, because even if the giant spider becomes as big as Gundam, Superman is confident that he can easily defeat the opponent.

Superman is afraid of monsters like Sadako, who are extremely strange and weird, cannot be killed or hit, look scary and reduce his sleep quality, and occasionally create scary hallucinations that affect his normal life. It is said that there are a lot of such monsters in Neon, so Superman is reluctant to go to Neon.

The giant spider launched a frantic attack on Superman. Its eight thick spider legs were like eight sharp spears, stabbing at Superman from all directions, trying to penetrate his nearly impeccable defense. However, even such a powerful attack seemed like an ant trying to shake a tree in front of Superman, and it was completely unable to break through his defense.

Superman's eyes flashed with a sharp light, and his heat vision was like a blade, cutting the giant spider's legs accurately. With a casual pull, the spider's joints broke like paper. After a while, the giant spider monster became powerless to resist, and all eight legs were dismantled. Its huge body struggled on the ground with only its remaining strength.

"Hehe~" Superman looked at the spider whose limbs were easily torn off by him with disdain, and then Superman's eyes were fixed on another fatal part of the giant spider - the sharp giant spider fangs.

This pair of spider fangs, my trophy, would feel nice to place at home as a decoration, and it can also serve as a symbol of how I have overcome my fear of weird things.

Thinking of this, Superman flew to the front of the giant spider like a flash of lightning, ready to take the trophy from the enemy.

However, just as Superman was pulling out the giant spider's fang, the giant spider's mouth opened 270 degrees against physics, revealing three constantly rotating spots of light deep inside.

Three fast-rotating light spots emit a strange glow that makes people unable to help but indulge in it.

Looking at this strange light, Superman suddenly fell into an unprecedented illusion. These illusions were not just visual distortions, but they were like being there, penetrating into the depths of Superman's mind and touching the fear and anxiety that he was most reluctant to face.
