Fazang: “.”
What you said makes a lot of sense. I was speechless for a moment.
"Young Master, these people are right here. Why don't you wait until they have rested before coming back?"
Fazang thought about it and agreed, so he decided not to disturb them here.
But just as they were about to leave, someone seemed to have seen them and spoke immediately.
"Where did this brother come from? He looks unfamiliar, but since he is here, he must be a good brother. Haha, come on, I will treat you today, brother, please don't be polite, eat and drink well!"
"Come on, which girl is free? Let me have a good taste of her. Brother, you have someone. This girl is so good! She is so good! It's Miss Zi Nu. Haha, brother, you are better than me. You actually won Miss Zi Nu!"
"Amazing, awesome! I admire you!"
Being stopped by someone, he really couldn't leave. Fazang thought about it and decided to stay and walk up to the man.
"I am Fazang, the monk. I am honored to meet you, Master. I was a little curious after hearing those words, so I came to take a look. I wanted to wait until Master got better, but I didn't expect to be discovered by Master."
He asked politely.
Miss Zi Nu shook her head slightly. The strong man who had just stepped into the Tao was actually calling a monk who was only in the fifth realm as his master.
Still such a monk.
I don't know what would happen if the Buddha knew.
The man seemed to be a little drunk. Even when he heard the word "Fazang", he didn't react at all. He just laughed.
"Wine and meat pass through the intestines, but remain in the Buddha's heart, right? This is so insightful, so insightful!"
"I have practiced Buddhism for many years, but this is the first time I have heard such shocking words. The master who said this must be a great monk!"
"I really want to take a good look at what that monk looks like."
Indeed, this sentence is a great shock to many people in the Buddhist community.
And that person was indeed a living Buddha monk.
I guess no one knows who said this.
Living Buddha Jigong.
He said this in his book "Jigong Li Xiuyuan".
The wine and meat passed through the intestines, but remained in the heart of the Buddha.
And this sentence also has a story.
It is said that Zen Master Poshan of the late Ming Dynasty spent his days in the camp of Li Liyang, one of the Thirteen Masters of Kuidong, during the war years.
Because Li Liyang was bloodthirsty, in order to save lives, the Zen master asked him to give up unnecessary killing.
Seeing that the Zen master strictly observed the precepts and did not eat meat or drink alcohol, Li Liyang said to him, "As long as you eat meat, I will not kill anyone."
The Zen master immediately made a contract with Li Liyang and even lifted his vow of abstention from alcohol and meat, thus enabling many people to survive, which became a famous story.
There is also a story that says there was another monk in the Ming Dynasty who ate meat and drank wine in front of bandits in order to save refugees who fled to the temple.
At that time, the bandit said that as long as he ate the wine and meat in his hands, he would let those people go.
So he calmly picked up the wine glass and said, "I'll use wine instead of tea."
After saying that, he drank it all in one gulp, then picked up the meat and said, "I'll cook with the meat, please!"
He ate without changing his expression, and was calm and composed. The bandits were shocked when they saw this, but since they had promised to do so, they had no choice but to let everyone go.
Not to mention that the killer of bandits at that time would actually keep his promise so well, but no matter what, he broke the precepts and ate meat and drank alcohol in order to save people, which obviously made him a great monk.
As for the Living Buddha Jigong who said this, he was praised by the people.
Everyone knows that Jigong, wearing a tattered hat, a tattered fan, tattered shoes, and dirty patched clothes, looks crazy, and is a monk at Lingyin Temple.
But no one knows that he is actually the 50th patriarch of Zen Buddhism and the 6th patriarch of the Yangqi School, and his status in Buddhism is not low.
However, he is not the legendary Lord Conquering the Dragon. That is a film and television story, not a popular one.
The only title that is passed down for Jigong is Living Buddha.
The value of this is much higher than that of the Venerable Jianglong.
He was proficient in medicine and cured many difficult and complicated diseases for the people.
He once went out to collect alms with a petition he had written himself to repair a temple that had been destroyed by fire.
He often traveled around the market, rescuing the needy, helping the dying and the weak, and rewarding the good and punishing the evil.
He wandered among the mountains and rivers, enjoying himself. Wherever he went, he would write in calligraphy, and his writings were profound and meaningful.
So some people say - I travel the world in rags, eliminating evil, punishing villains and distinguishing right from wrong.
This living Buddha also holds a very high status in Fazang's heart.
Therefore, he has a good impression of people who praise the Living Buddha.
Moreover, when the master said these words, it sounded as if he had some insights of his own.
So he said, "I wonder what advice this master has. I am all ears."
"Great ideas? I don't have any great ideas. They are just the inheritance of the great monks."
The man drank the wine happily and said, "I used to listen to the sayings of fasting, chanting Buddha's name, and keeping a clean mind and few desires. I stayed in Buddhism for an unknown period of time, but what was the result? The more I suppressed my nature, the stronger it became. I feel restless when practicing Buddhism every day."
"According to the situation, I'm afraid I'll have to face my inner demons. What if something goes wrong?"
"Fortunately, I listened to the great monk's insights and realized my mistakes."
"This is not just my fault, it's the fault of the entire Buddhist community!"
"What's the point of being pure-hearted and abstinent, or being vegetarian and chanting Buddhist scriptures? Haha, suppressing your nature is useless. It's better to release it."
“All repression is wrong. Only by releasing it can you truly calm your mind.”
"You see, now as long as I vent, I can easily enter that meditative state. I feel like a saint after that incident!"
“It’s really great!”
Pulling up your pants to speak is a sign of toughness.
Can.
This is not a brilliant idea at all. Not only is it not a brilliant idea, but it also completely distorts the Living Buddha's words.
"Master, why do you say that? To keep the Buddha in your heart is to keep the Buddha in your heart and to abide by your original intention. How can you be said to be keeping the Buddha in your heart by indulging yourself?"
"Ah, that's wrong."
The man waved his hands and said, "I was just venting a little, why didn't the Buddha keep it in his heart?"
"As long as I think of the Buddha in my heart, isn't that enough?"
"Besides, I can practice better if I am like this."
“If you can’t calm your mind, how can you recite the Dharma?”
“This is also part of the practice.”
"Hahaha, come on, drink, let's eat and drink!"
Fazang looked at him silently and shook his head slightly.
"The master is wrong."
"That Living Buddha said that wine and meat pass through the intestines, but the Buddha remains in the heart. If people in the world follow my example, they will be like entering the devil's way."
"The Living Buddha keeps the Buddha in his heart. Even if he knows that he has eaten meat and wine, he can still stick to his original intention."
"He knows that he must stick to his original intention and never ruin himself, so even if this is the case, the Living Buddha will never be like the Master."
"Master is misinterpreting the Living Buddha's intention."
"If so, what kind of Buddhist can you be?"
He spoke so seriously that the monk, who loved to eat and drink, looked a little unhappy.
"What do you want to say? Are you saying that I am wrong? Are you saying that the monk is wrong?" "It's not that the monk is wrong, but the master."
"You are a fellow who misinterpreted the Buddhist teachings. I won't say anything more to you. Get out! This is not a place for you. Get out!"
The monk waved his hand to send him away. Fazang looked at him silently, pursed his lips, shook his head, and turned away.
Fazang left, and Miss Zi Nu followed closely behind him.
She was a little puzzled.
"Young Master, won't you fight him to the end?"
"He actually knew he was wrong, but he just didn't want to admit it."
When Fazang said to stick to one's original intention, a hint of panic flashed in the monk's eyes.
They actually know that they are wrong, but what does it matter if they know it?
I know. I don't care.
They just want an excuse.
An excuse to be unscrupulous.
Even if he really broke down these words bit by bit and analyzed them, he would not get their recognition.
They would explain their actions with superficial words and would criticize Fazang for misinterpreting the great monk's Buddhist teachings.
They will never admit their mistakes.
This is the human heart.
".The young master really sees things clearly."
“Sometimes I wonder if the young master really can’t see through their tricks, or if he’s really that naive.”
"Now it seems that the young master's mind is clear and he can see everything clearly."
"That seemingly innocent look, could it be that the young master is pretending?"
She smiled like this, and the young master also smiled but did not answer.
"In fact, the young master can use his own identity"
Fazang is a son of Buddha, and the most powerful person in Buddhism today. The three great masters of Buddhism, namely, the Supreme Master, the Perfect Master, and the Sage, all call Fazang the son of Buddha when they see him.
As long as he opens his mouth, no one will stand by that guy.
But Fazang shook his head.
"That's fine, but what's the difference between me and the person who uses force to oppress others?"
"The Buddha held the Ullambana Festival, where thousands of Buddhas gathered together and many Buddhist monks discussed Buddhism together, expressing their own opinions. Even the Buddha would not stop others from attending such a grand Buddhist gathering. I am just a small monk now, so what qualifications do I have?"
As for Buddhism, just as everyone has different concepts and ideas in their hearts, it is natural that everyone will have different views on Buddhism.
If you do not allow others to speak simply because their opinions are different from yours, you are really digging your own grave and cutting off the foundation of your own path.
The Buddha would not do something that would dig his own grave, and neither would he.
"Although that is true, little master, some people have misinterpreted the Buddha's meaning. If we continue to spread it, I'm afraid it will be detrimental to Buddhism."
"If it were me, I would expel such a fellow from my sect on the spot and would never let them tarnish my sect."
Fazang said "Amitabha" and didn't say anything else.
Soon, Miss Zi Nu brought Fa Zang to Liu Shihui's room.
She knocked on the door and waited for a "come in" from inside before pushing it open.
As soon as she entered, she said, "Saint, look, who's here?"
Liu Shihui was dressing up in her room. Actually, she didn't need to dress up, but one should not guess what a woman is thinking. If she likes to dress up, then let her dress up. She looked at the mirror and asked, "Why? Who is it that makes you so happy?"
Through the peripheral light of the mirror, she saw the monk standing outside the door.
The eyebrow pencil that was originally used to draw eyebrows suddenly tilted and was drawn on her face.
She knew the person who appeared in the mirror. How could she not recognize him?
Even though it’s been a few years, I’ll never forget it.
She still remembers the shock she felt when she saw the other party display his supernatural power.
It was like seeing a ghost, it was unbelievable.
The little monk that was picked up at that time turned out to be so powerful and was one of the strongest people in the world.
She actually thought he needed protection. She must have been dizzy at the time.
She doesn't even need to protect him.
"Donor Liu, long time no see."
Fazang said with a smile.
Liu Shihui stood up and wanted to say something, but sat down again, wiped the marks on her face, and said: "Zi Nu, go and prepare some food and serve some good tea. I was wondering why you stayed downstairs for so long. It turns out that a distinguished guest has arrived."
"Not really. Something happened along the way. Didn't I bring it back with me?"
Miss Zi Nu thought about it and asked someone to prepare things.
Liu Shihui also finished cleaning her face and came to Fazang, saying, "It's been a long time, Master Fazang."
"I still prefer Mr. Liu to call me Little Monk."
After these words were spoken, Liu Shihui and Fazang both laughed.
They seemed to recall how they first met.
I thought we would never see each other again after that time, but I didn't expect...
"To be honest, when I first found you, I never thought you would be such a powerful guy. You're too powerful."
"Half a step into the path of enlightenment, this is the pinnacle of the current cultivation world."
"You said you haven't practiced Buddhist magic, but you have such strength. It seems you are hiding it."
"That's right. I'm just a small fifth realm. How can I see through the master's hiding?"
Although he knew it was a joke, Fazang still explained it with a smile.
"I, in fact, didn't know I had this power at first."
"On weekdays, I chant Buddhist scriptures with my master and brothers to calm my heart. The Buddha's teachings nourished me silently, but I was unaware of it."
“When I need it, these Dharma teachings will become my strength.”
"I have accumulated some experience, I guess."
Liu Shihui: “.”
Yes, yes, yes, you also have accumulation.
Of course you have accumulated experience. If you didn’t, how could you become so strong? But more important than accumulation is your talent.
Born with knowledge, born invulnerable to all laws, born with supernatural powers, this talent, no matter how many times it is mentioned, is still so enviable.
Woo, that’s great.
It's impossible to hide the 200,000 years of being sealed. Or is it possible that he directly crossed time and space to come to this era?
Anyway, no matter what, Fazang must have been just that old. He was so capable at such a young age. If he were older, he would probably be able to reach the level of the Buddha.
"Speaking of which, you broke the seal and came out?"
"I heard about you later. It was you who fought with the Si family ancestor and finally suppressed him, but you were also sealed. I was wondering when you would be able to break the seal, but I didn't expect it to be so soon."
Fazang: “Ah?”
Didn’t I come out a long time ago?
He has fought with Emperor Si Tian again. The news should have spread throughout the entire cultivation world. How come there are still people who don't know this news?
Could it be that there is no internet access at home?
