Chapter 10 The Lucky Girl at the Front Desk of the Exam

At nine o'clock, the exam officially begins.

After the test papers were handed out, the girls bent over their desks and began to fill in the information.

The sun dyed the edge of her ponytail golden. Her hair was slightly split. Her left face was slightly tilted with fine hair, which made her look even more peaceful.

Jiang Nian withdrew his gaze from her pink neck and his mood became cheerful.

It would be a lie to say that he was not nervous. Although he had memorized all the knowledge points of the subjects in his mind through memorization time, it was, after all, an exam that would determine his fate as a senior.

But the girl sitting at the front desk is pretty, so that might be a good sign.

The two-day exam time passed in a flash.

The girl sitting in front of him really brought him good luck, from Chinese to the last subject, English, she performed normally, even a little bit above average.

After a few interactions, Jiang Nian also knew the girl's name, Zhang Ningzhi.

I borrowed an eraser for the math test.

Before the English test, Jiang Nian thought that he had taken advantage of someone else's luck. After the test, he probably wouldn't see him again, so he thought about it and decided to do something.

So while expressing his gratitude, he gave Zhang Ningzhi a box of fruit milk.

No one would dare to take this thing if it was left outside the school. After all, which girl would dare to drink something handed to her by a strange boy? But it is not that risky in school.

Zhang Ningzhi hesitated for a moment, said thank you and accepted it.

He didn't take it seriously. During the last English test, the classroom was so quiet that only the sound of rustling could be heard.

Jiang Nian's hands trembled a little when he smelled the ink smell coming from the test paper. Maybe it was because this was the last test, or maybe it was because half of his short-sleeved shirt was wet.

The mountain wind blew outside the door, causing his row of snow-white teeth to knock against each other, feeling sore and numb.

My heart was beating like a drum and my head was burning.

"It's okay. I estimate that I'll get at least 100 in Chinese, 100 in math, and more than 210 in comprehensive science," he muttered to himself while doing the test paper.

"Get 20 points for English composition, lose 10 points for listening, and 130 points for English is a sure thing."

Five hundred and forty was just the minimum score he estimated. It was not a particularly high score for a paper with a full score of seven hundred and fifty, but it was already very high in the parallel class.

If these exams are really the college entrance examination, it will be more than enough to get into a non-key first-class university.

Jiang Nian estimated that after this test, he should be able to rank first in the class. If everything goes well, it shouldn't be a problem to be promoted to the Science Olympiad class.

We left the examination room at 4:30 in the afternoon and everyone packed up their things and prepared to go back to the classroom to tidy up their desks.

I have two consecutive exams over the weekend, and the evening self-study session on Sunday is used as a holiday. This means that from now on, after the exams are over, the entire evening is free.

The classroom was in chaos. Some people chose to go straight to the Internet cafe, while others chose to return to their seats before leaving.

The classroom, the corridor, and the entire senior high school building were extremely noisy and lively. Some people were discussing the test papers, while others were chatting around the teacher, clapping their hands or beating their chests in regret from time to time.

There were many new faces in the class, some of them gathered in front of the draft paper to check their calculations, some of them talked and laughed loudly, and some of them made appointments to go to the Internet cafe.

Jiang Nian bent down and lifted his heavy basket of books easily. He straightened up and saw Zhou Yuting walking in, looking around the classroom, probably looking for someone to move the books.

As they passed each other, Zhou Yuting called out to him.

"Jiang Nian, can you help me move the books? They are too heavy for me to carry."
-
"When someone of the opposite sex who is actually breaking up with you but not nominally breaking up with you asks you for help, it's best to pretend you didn't hear it"

Jiang Nian ignored him and took two steps forward before looking back.

"Ah? You called me?" "Well, can you help me move the books?" Zhou Yuting asked. She was wearing a white cotton skirt because she had an exam on the weekend. "And help Yingying move them."

Sun Yingying is Zhou Yuting’s casual best friend and is interested in Liu Feipeng.

"Oh, why don't you ask Le Zhi to help you?" Jiang Nian glanced at her and raised the corner of his mouth. "I'm sure he will be happy to help you move the books."

Zhou Yuting choked when she heard this. She knew Le Zhi would help her, but Le Zhi was too annoying. Jiang Nian was not nagging, and he was also good-looking.

Although Zhou Yuting would not consider finding a poor man like Jiang Nian as her boyfriend, having a good-looking bootlicker would also increase her value.

"He's so annoying. It's better for me to find you."

Jiang Nian wanted to bring up her birthday party and take the opportunity to ridicule her back, but then he thought, I'm about to be promoted, why bother talking about it.

Even if you make a girl cry, you still can’t win.

"Ah."

He responded coldly, turned around and left with the book basket.

Zhou Yuting stood there, originally thinking that Jiang Nian would put down the book and come back to help her. But after waiting for a long time, no one showed up. When she went out to take a look, she was so angry that her nose almost became crooked.

Jiang Nian went to the next class to help a girl move books.

She swore that she would never look at Jiang Nian straight in the eye again. She would never speak a word to him again. Did she think that she would be anxious and worried?
"No need, I can move it myself." Xu Qianqian looked around and felt a little embarrassed. "They will ask you to move with them later."

"Just move it, it's a piece of cake." Jiang Nian looked indifferent.

"That won't work. Their books are too heavy." Xu Qianqian frowned. "Just go ahead and wait for me at the school gate. I'll be there soon."

Before she knew it, Xu Qianqian had gotten used to going home with Jiang Nian.

"alright."

After moving the books, Jiang Nian left the teaching building and looked back at his class. He suddenly felt a little excited, looking forward to the day when the results would come out.

Today is Sunday, and everyone should be able to come out tomorrow. The shift change will be next week.

After a while, Xu Qianqian came out with her schoolbag on her back, looked around and found Jiang Nian, so she tightened the strap of her schoolbag and walked towards him.

Some classmates nearby saw this scene and couldn't help but stop to watch.

I originally thought I could read some premature love gossip, but they just walked away so calmly and even took out the test paper.

"Can you get 540 this time?" She frowned and asked, "I heard that under normal circumstances, the lower-level shift change must score 550 to be stable enough."

The two were walking side by side, and Jiang Nian almost had a cardiac arrest when he heard the words.

No, man, I have cheats, I don't play like this, right? You guys in the Olympics, everyone is Ultraman Seven, don't you have any connections?
When Xu Qianqian learned of Jiang Nian's rough thoughts, she couldn't help but snort.

"It's because they have connections that they need a higher score. People can stay in the Olympic Games even if they get 400 points. What does changing shifts have to do with them?"

It's too realistic. This is how the society in a small county is based on personal connections.

"Okay, let me check your English answers with you." Jiang Nian took a deep breath, "How did you do in the English test this time? Still got full marks, right?"

Xu Qianqian snorted, revealing three parts of sarcasm, three parts of complacency, three parts of carelessness, and one part of the pride of a little swan.

"What do you say?"

Neatly cut wires at dusk, night falls quietly.
