Chapter 33 School Bus Horror
"Okay, everyone get in the car, Clark, speed up!"

At Smallwell Elementary School, Martha McDonald clapped her hands and directed the chaotic students into the school bus.

Clark looked back at the depressed Azu, slowed down and waited for him to come up.

"John, you look unhappy?"

"Yes, because I have already visited Old Mike's collection once, on my last birthday."

A Zu said dejectedly, "I wanted Dad to help me take time off to weed the farm, but Dad refused."

"What did the Godfather say?"

Clark asked curiously.

"Dad said that we are not allowed to work part-time during school hours."

A-Zu plopped down in the back seat of the school bus, his arms resting on the front seat, supporting his chin.

He sighed like Peter and said in a very mature manner: "Ah, it's another boring day."

"Students, we are visiting the museum today. I hope everyone can have a wonderful day. However, before we enjoy the good time, we must abide by the rules."

Teacher Martha waited until all the students were on the bus, then began to explain the tour procedures and precautions to the students.

Old Holly sat at the front of the school bus, acting as security for the event.

His cloudy eyes flashed a gleam of light from time to time as he looked at the students on the school bus.

The school bus started quickly and headed along the road towards the museum.

“I hate buses.”

Zu looked at the scenery passing by quickly outside the window and said to Clark sitting next to him: "The school bus feels the same as a public bus."

"Have you ever taken a bus? John."

Clark asked in surprise.

Since Peter and Jonathan's families both have cars, Clark basically travels by car.

He has not experienced the bus yet.

"Of course, there was one time when Dad forgot to drive and took me on the bus."

A-Zu had a terrible experience at that time.

"There was a guy sitting in front of us who smelled like urine mixed with Doritos and had hobo-style clothes on, and Dad said his clothes were at the forefront of fashion trends, so it was unclear if he was truly homeless or just a guy who was unbridled in his pursuit of fashion."

Clark felt that the Godfather's words were both a joke and the truth.

After thinking for a long time with a frown on his face, Clark finally came to the conclusion: This might be a joke from the Godfather.

The Godfather always suddenly uttered words that he couldn't understand.

Whenever he asked, his godfather would tell him it was a bad joke.

For example, the Godfather once asked him seriously, if he flew up and caught a woman falling at high speed with his arms, how could he make the woman's body break into three pieces.

A Zu didn't notice Clark's conflicted expression. He supported his chin with one hand and looked at the scenery outside the window boredly.

The school bus continued to move forward, passing the Honey Cave where agricultural products were sold, and drove onto a bridge.

A pickup truck loaded with paint drove over from the opposite lane.

Seeing the pickup truck coming, the school bus driver prepared to slow down.

But just as the two vehicles were about to meet, the pickup truck loaded with paint suddenly crossed the center line and crashed into the school bus.

"Fake!!"

Seeing the out-of-control pickup truck crashing towards him, the driver swore and immediately gripped the steering wheel tightly, his knuckles swollen and white. At the same time, he stepped hard on the brakes.

The tires squealed like lambs to the slaughter.

The rear end of the car suddenly swung to one side!
The students in the school bus were excitedly talking about the activities, when they suddenly felt their bodies lose weight.

"Oh!"

The student who stood up was thrown heavily onto his seat with a dull thud.

Martha McConaughey was explaining some precautions to the students when the school bus suddenly veered to the side.

She was caught off guard and was hit hard against the carriage. With a "bang", the impact on her forehead made her dizzy and unstable.

Clark and Azu were also thrown to the side, but they quickly stabilized their bodies.

"squeak!"

The school bus made a harsh braking sound on the road, and the black brake marks gave off a pungent burning smell.

In order to avoid being hit by the pickup truck, the school bus lost control and rushed under the bridge.

At the critical moment, the driver with rich driving experience finally stopped the car.

It was only a few inches away from running off the road.

There was complete silence all around, and the students who had been screaming and crying before all stopped at the same time.

Only the gradually cooling car engine made a rumbling sound.

The frightened driver seemed to want to cry, but in the next moment he suddenly wanted to laugh.

I successfully saved a school bus of students!
he made it!

However, before he could celebrate his success, an out-of-control pickup truck rushed towards him the next second.

"Oh!"

The pickup truck, loaded with paint, struck the rear of the school bus.

The car door was dented and broken glass fell into the car like rain.

The air was filled with the sound of car horns and the loud noise of metal colliding and deforming.

"Law--!"

Before the driver could finish uttering the curse word, the school bus made a teeth-grinding squeak and fell into the river under the bridge.

"Boom!"

The school bus crashed into the river in Smallville with a deafening noise.

The cold river water immediately poured into the school bus.

The muddy river water quickly surrounded the students on the school bus.

The terrified students screamed and became a mess.

Some wanted to escape immediately, while others screamed and ran madly towards the back of the school bus.

But the speed at which the river water poured in exceeded everyone's expectations and quickly submerged half of the school bus.

Although old Holly, who was sitting in the front seat, was shaken by the falling school bus, the bridge was not high and did not cause him to faint.

He quickly took off his coat and, ignoring the crying students, rushed to the shattered car window as fast as he could.

Escaping from the sinking school bus, he swam forward.

He was very familiar with the river, so he easily escaped from the area where the school bus sank.

"Wow!"

When he emerged from the water, his old body turned into a young one again.

After hesitating for a moment, he wanted to go and save people.

But when I think about saving people now, it might lead to my identity being exposed.

Finally, he shook his head, looked at the school bus, and swam towards the shore.

More and more water was poured into the school bus, and Martha McConaughey had already taken several mouthfuls of river water.

The noisy crying and yelling reached her ears, making her headache worse.

"Here, quick!"

She endured the headache, grabbed a little girl's shoulders and tried to push her out through the car window.

But perhaps because she was afraid, the little girl held her arm tightly, with tears in her eyes and refused to let go.

Clark, who was sitting in the back seat, wiped the water off his face and stared blankly at the scene of Teacher Martha and the girl in front of him.
