Chapter 11 Suspect

The corridors are lined with interrogation rooms, only three of which are in use.

Mo Wanqiu was arranged by Cai Xiaojing in the reception room. With the latter's cooperation, Yang Xiaorui was reorganizing her testimony.

Luo Rui followed Cai Xiaojing and walked to the door of the first interrogation room.

"This is Gu Wenwen's uncle, Gu Chenggang. He was interrogated early this morning...

Luo Rui frowned and looked towards the interrogation room.

Gu Chenggang had handcuffs on his hands and looked nonchalant. He seemed to know that his crime was not serious and he would only be sentenced to a few years in prison, so he acted fearless.

They walked to the second interrogation room and looked through the small window on the door. They saw a young man sitting in the interrogation chair and an old detective sitting opposite him.

The young man looked very panicked, his eyes darting left and right, as if he didn't dare to look at the old detective's face at all.

Cai Xiaojing pulled a man from the corridor and the man said, "Captain, his name is Zhang Lei, and Deputy Captain Chen just captured him."

She nodded, then took Luo Rui into the dark room next door.

There were staff members inside monitoring the video. When they saw that the person coming in was Cai Xiaojing, they nodded slightly and continued to work on their tasks.

There is a single-lens reflex glass in front of the darkroom, through which one can clearly see what is going on inside and hear the suspect's voice.
