Chapter 236 Wedding Night (Part Two)

It took Rong Zhen quite a bit of effort to remove Yun Wei's wedding dress, as it was the first time he had ever undressed a woman.

Freed from the constraints of her wedding dress, Yunwei, now only wearing an undergarment, instantly felt completely relaxed.

The house was heated by a floor heating system and a charcoal stove, so it didn't feel cold.

She then walked around the room and looked it over.

This Qingxue Courtyard was built by Rongzhen based on her Qingyi Garden, and even the structure of the house is the same.

She had come here with Rong Zhen before.

But we're only seeing it decorated like a new house now.

She nodded, pleased with the arrangement. Unaware that the man's gaze was fixed on her, his eyes darkening as he looked at her shapely figure beneath her thin clothes.

As she approached, Rong Zhen reached out and grabbed her arm, his voice unusually low and husky, "It's getting late, let's... go to bed."

Yunwei pulled her hand away from his. "But I'm hungry. I want to eat something else."

Although Tian'er had prepared food for her earlier, she hadn't lifted the veil yet, and there were other people in the room, so she couldn't eat freely. She ate a little, and by now, she was already hungry again.

Upon hearing this, Rong Zhen had no choice but to take her hand and lead her to the table. "Eat."

The table was laden with delicious food and fine wine.

Yunwei was really hungry, so she grabbed a chicken leg from the table and started eating.

Rong Zhen sat beside her, watching her eat.

"Aren't you going to eat anything?" Yunwei asked after finishing a chicken leg and noticing he hadn't touched his chopsticks.

He was busy toasting people and probably didn't eat anything.

"I'm not eating." Rong Zhen's gaze fell on her. "You eat more."

Upon hearing this, Yunwei ignored him.

After she finished eating, Rong Zhen asked, "Are you full?"

"I'm full," Yunwei said.

Rong Zhen nodded. "Then it's my turn to eat."

Upon hearing this, Yun Wei asked in confusion, "Why didn't you eat just now?"

Rong Zhen did not answer, but instead picked her up horizontally.

Yun Wei: "..."

Realizing what he meant, she blinked. "I haven't rinsed my mouth yet, it's all oily."

"Aren't you going to say you want to take a bath again later?" Rong Zhen placed her on the bed, propped himself up on his arms beside her, and looked down at her.

Yun Wei coughed lightly, "If possible, I would like to... um!"

Before she could finish speaking, the man silenced her with a kiss.

This kiss came on rather forcefully.

Yunwei's body went limp from the kiss.

In her dazed state, she saw the man pull down the bed curtains.

Layer upon layer of red gauze curtains piled up, blocking out the light, making the bed room suddenly dark and adding a touch of ambiguity to the atmosphere.

Amidst the lingering fragrance, Yunwei felt her undergarment being removed, followed by her trousers...

Throughout the encounter, the man kept kissing her, and his hands...

Her long, butterfly-like eyelashes trembled slightly as she tried to turn the tables, but the man clearly wasn't giving her that chance.

When she tried to turn over again, the man turned her over instead.

The warm, moist touch traveled down the back of her neck.

Without the obstruction of fabric, the feeling of skin against skin is exceptionally clear.

The unfamiliar feeling made her moan softly, and her body trembled.

Only when the last bit of resistance was stripped away by the man did she regain some clarity from her daze.

She instinctively tried to pull the blanket up to cover herself, but the man forcefully pulled it away.

"Let me see." The man's voice was deep and hoarse, as if he was trying his best to suppress something.

A feeling of shyness began to spread across Yunwei's face.

She thought she was thick-skinned enough, but when the moment actually came, she couldn't help feeling ashamed. She tried her best to remain calm, but the blush on her face betrayed her.

Even her rounded toes curled up shyly.

She simply closed her eyes.

But the man's burning gaze felt so real, it made her feel hot all over.

Just when she couldn't take it anymore, the man's long, slender fingers tightened around hers.

A strange and painful feeling swept over her.

Uncontrollable sobs escaped from her mouth.

Rong Zhen realized what was happening and immediately stopped what he was doing, lowering his head to kiss the tear that had slipped from the corner of her eye.

He gently patted her stiff back and asked in a low, hoarse voice, "Does it hurt a lot?"

Yun Wei didn't speak. Her furrowed brows slowly relaxed. Looking at the man's anxious and worried eyes, she lifted herself up and kissed his Adam's apple, her tone slightly coquettish, "Be gentle, and it'll be alright."

Seeing that she could endure it, Rong Zhen was relieved, but he restrained himself considerably.

Until Yunwei got used to it.

……

After an unknown amount of time, just as Yunwei thought it was over and drifted off to sleep, the man, still unsatisfied, took her again.

Before Yunwei fell into a deep sleep from exhaustion, she heard the man ask her vengefully in her ear, "Am I up to the task?"

Yun Wei: "..."

He still remembers what she teased him about back then.

If she had known he was so vengeful, she would have kept her mouth shut.

……

The next day.

Yunwei was thinking about going to the palace to pay her respects to the Empress Dowager, so even though she was sore, she got up early.

Rong Zhen kissed her cheek. "It's okay to go later. You can sleep a little longer."

"No, let's go to the palace first. I can come back and sleep later." Yunwei shook her head.

As a new bride entering the family, it's best to pay her respects to the elders early on her first visit to avoid others having any questions.

Seeing that she insisted, Rong Zhen gave up and helped her up.

When Yunwei stepped down, her legs went weak, but fortunately Rong Zhen caught her.

Meeting the woman's resentful gaze, Rong Zhen coughed lightly, "Next time, I'll be more careful."

Yun Wei: "..."

Is there a next time?

Thinking about how he tormented her last night, she felt her legs go weak and suddenly regretted having someone deliver the book to him the day before.

The couple had just gotten up when there was a knock on the door.

“Your Highness, Your Highness, this old servant has come to retrieve the handkerchief on the orders of the Empress Dowager.” The respectful voice of Granny Lan rang out from outside.

Yun Wei frowned slightly, but didn't say anything.

Rong Zhen opened the door and let Granny Lan in.

Granny Lan walked to the bedside and immediately saw the handkerchief stained with red plum blossoms, her smile deepening.

It seems this is truly the princess's first time.

Fearing that Yunwei might overthink things, she explained, "Your Highness, when a new royal bride enters the household, her handkerchiefs are collected and stored away in a standardized manner. Please don't overthink it."

Yun Wei nodded. Although she disliked this kind of thing, she didn't say anything more.

The veil was a way to test a woman's chastity, and the royal family, in particular, placed great importance on it.

Seeing that she was not displeased, Granny Lan was about to take the handkerchief, but Rong Zhen stopped her.

"I'll trouble you, Granny Lan, to make the trip. But I will keep my wife's handkerchief myself. Please pass on this to my mother, Granny Lan."

Granny Lan hesitated, "This..."

"It's difficult to explain to Granny Ruolan. I'll talk to the Empress Dowager when we enter the palace later." As Rong Zhen spoke, he folded the handkerchief and tucked it into his bosom.

Seeing how much he cherished it, Granny Lan didn't say anything more. "Then this old servant will return to the palace first."
