Chapter 463 Dark Dimension
Chapter 463 Dark Dimension
at the same time.
Manhattan, New York.
Within a world surrounded by the dark dimension.
The dagger that illuminated the darkness with the light of life fell like a broken swallow.
The last glimmer of light faded away.
The nurse caught the exhausted dagger at midnight and treated her.
Where is Strange?
Daredevil asked.
"Who knows? Maybe the magician version of myself just left alone."
"Someone said in despair."
It has been more than a year. In this dark world, nothing that emits light, such as electricity, exists; it is swallowed by darkness.
There is no light, no energy.
They could only sit and wait to die; once all the supplies were exhausted, everyone would starve to death here.
"We've lost all hope, haven't we?"
The nurse asked at midnight.
“Before, we had daggers to light up the top tower, but now her own life force is almost exhausted.”
She stroked the unconscious face of the dagger, her expression filled with sorrow.
"Don't give up hope, we still have friends working hard beyond the Dark Dimension."
Daredevil could only offer words of comfort.
"It's been a year, and there's been absolutely no news. Daredevil, you know better than I what this means."
This means the heroes have lost, and Hydra has won. Their old friends are in dire straits themselves; no one will come to their rescue.
"How long can our food last?" the midnight nurse quipped.
Just then, several white vans drove aggressively through the darkness. The van in front slammed on its brakes, leaving a deep mark on the broken asphalt road.
A human mountain dressed in a white suit walked down.
Daredevil and Midnight Nurse immediately became alert.
"Kingpin!"
"Don't get me wrong, I'm not here to cause trouble."
Kingpin waved his hand and gestured to his mercenaries. The back doors of several medium-sized vans opened, and boxes of food were unloaded.
“I’m here to deliver supplies to you, or rather, to the refugees, Daredevil. You’re not going to kick me out, are you?” Kingpin laughed.
"Are you so kind?"
Upon hearing this, Kingpin honestly shook his head: "Of course not."
Kingpin, the honest man, laid out his plan straight: "I'm going to make all of New York remember me, Kingpin, and let them see who saved their lives in this most dangerous moment. When we leave this damn place, they'll crown me."
This is a conspiracy.
Even if Daredevil knew about his plan, it wouldn't matter. Could Daredevil, as a superhero, possibly stop him from doing good deeds?
"You seem quite confident. Perhaps we'll never get out, and your plan will fall through. In fact, you'll have even less time to survive because you've distributed the supplies."
"If that's the case, we'll all die sooner or later, so what's the difference?"
Kim asked.
Daredevil wanted to say that Kingpin might die before they were rescued.
But it just doesn't seem possible.
Do you really think he's a great philanthropist?
Daredevil is certain that, barring any unforeseen circumstances, Kingpin will be the last person to survive in this space.
But now all he can do is pray that Kingpin's plan succeeds.
This at least means victory.
At that moment, the dark space distorted, and a wizard wearing a red cloak and looking like a vampire suddenly appeared.
"Strange?"
Daredevil tilted his ear in surprise to "look" at him.
Doctor Strange leaned weakly against the wall, but hope burned in his eyes.
“I’ve found a spell that might help us get out of here.”
He swore solemnly.
"Really?" the midnight nurse exclaimed in surprise.
Luke Cage, standing not far away, remained skeptical: "Are you sure you can get out of here? Are you sure the spell will work?" Doctor Strange shook his head: "I can't be sure, but I crossed dimensions and used my Sanctum Sanctorum as collateral to obtain this spell. I hope it works."
"That doesn't sound very plausible."
Luke Cage said.
He always felt that the current Doctor Strange was the kind of person who would buy health supplements.
"We have to give it a try. How do we do that?"
Doctor Strange looked at everyone and said, "My magical power is very weak right now, and I can't cast a spell on my own."
For some reason, Strange actually lost most of his magical powers, otherwise he wouldn't be in such a sorry state.
“Cloak, dagger, I need your teleportation abilities and energy.”
Dagger had only recently regained consciousness and was even weaker than Doctor Strange at the moment.
The nurse at midnight said, "No, the dagger's energy has run out. If it continues to release energy, it might kill us."
"I am fine."
He pushed her away with his dagger and forced himself to stand up: "Let's begin now, Dr. Strange."
The cloaked figure walked over.
He was originally a black man, but now he was even blacker than a black man. Beneath his swirling cloak was a pitch-black shadow, like a ghost.
The cloaked body was an entrance to the dark dimension, and he could have left this hellish place on his own with the dagger.
However, because Lady Hydra sealed the teleportation spell with her magic, his ability also became ineffective.
He was quite pleased to hear that Doctor Strange had a solution.
"I will do everything I can to help!"
"You two, come to my side."
Doctor Strange sat down cross-legged and began to meditate. His dagger and cloak formed a triangle, one providing him with energy and the other opening the gate to the Dark Dimension for him.
The power of magic linked them together like chains.
"what!"
Before long, the dagger was already feeling the strain.
The feeling of life force draining away is like having a large amount of blood drained from your body.
"Strange!"
The nurse shouted at midnight.
"Don't disturb me while I'm chanting the spell!"
Doctor Strange closed his eyes tightly, and his speech involuntarily quickened.
The magical array spread out, enveloping everyone.
Before Luke Cage could even show a hint of joy, the magical light went out, and he sank back into darkness like a deflated balloon.
thump.
The dagger fell from mid-air and the person fell unconscious again.
The spell failed.
Doctor Strange didn't know whether the spell itself wasn't working or the dagger's energy was running low.
But regardless, their last remaining hope was shattered.
"Damn it... I got scammed."
He cursed weakly, "That damned magic librarian tricked me out of my Sanctuary with a useless spell."
"Wait a minute, it's not like it had absolutely no effect."
Suddenly, the cloaked figure clutched his stomach, his expression strange.
next second.
His body twisted like a sack, as if it contained some kind of energetic monster.
Something is about to emerge!
Swish!
With a tearing sound, his invisible dark body was pierced and torn apart by a scythe-like claw.
Then, to everyone's horror, a ghost with its head upside down floated out of the cloak.
"Ok?"
"Out of a man's body?"
"That's disgusting!"
