Chapter 451 The Rewritten Reality

Chapter 451 The Rewritten Reality
"You mean you want us to abandon this world and move to another planet? And then let you blow up our Earth?"

Inside the Hydra aircraft carrier, Steve Rogers frowned as he looked at Bant's unfamiliar face.

“This is the best way to preserve both universes and allow the majority of people on Earth to survive,” Bant said.

He was also sizing up Steve.

The famous Snake Team was a name he had heard of even though he hadn't read many comics.

Now, this universe is under the control of Hydra, and Steve has become not only the director of S.H.I.E.L.D., but also the president of America.

"But why aren't you the ones leaving?"

Steve can't abandon this world he's in now, nor can he leave.

He went to great lengths to make Hydra the ruler of the world, using dark magic to seal Doctor Strange and many other superheroes in the dark dimension; he used the Chitauri Queen to lure the Chitauri army to attack Earth continuously, trapping Captain Marvel and the Quasar outside Earth's planetary shield...

Leaving Earth means he has to activate the planetary shield, at which point Captain Marvel and the quasars, who have been tricked, will immediately launch an attack on him.

Although he also has Vision, Disqualified Thor, and the Witch on his side, there's no guarantee that something won't go wrong, causing Hydra's efforts to go to waste.

"This is a notification, not a discussion."

Bant was even less likely to back down: "Listen up, Steve Rogers, we could have just blown up your planet, but we didn't. Instead, we're giving you a chance to live. The choice you make is your own, but you'll have to bear the consequences yourself."

Bant looked like he'd be happy to fight back if you wanted to.

"The two planets are colliding only eight hours apart, and we also need to evacuate the people. You don't have much time to think about it."

He doesn't care what power rules the universe; it's none of his business.

He's already given Steve a chance to survive; whether it works or not is up to him.

Steve glanced at Luma, who was tall and muscular and even carrying a hammer, following behind Bant. Although he didn't recognize her, it didn't stop him from imagining Luma as a warrior comparable to the Hulk.

Strong enemy!

This is only part of it.

If we make a reasonable inference, the opponent's combat power is at least comparable to that of Earth in the past.

"I need to discuss this with the cabinet."

The Snakes ultimately did not make a decision to immediately declare war on Bant.

He was still unsure how much fighting power the organization called Tiangong actually had, and how much chance of winning it would be.

"Please."

Bant acted as if he were at home on the Hydra mothership, taking the initiative and asking Steve to leave, leaving only the few people from the Ben10 universe in the room.

Of course, a monitor is indispensable.

But these things can be disabled by simply activating a few small toys.

“Phew, I never imagined there was a world controlled by Hydra…” Felicia only caught her breath after Steve left. “And the captain is actually Hydra, I can’t believe it.”

As she spoke, she looked at Steve: "Captain, how do you feel seeing yourself transformed into Hydra?"

Steve said, "Nothing is surprising in the multiverse."

Felicia found his answer uninteresting; she had expected to see some surprise on Steve's face. "A world ruled by Hydra... it's hard to imagine how terrible it would be," T'Challa frowned. "Do we really want to save such a world?"

T'Challa was initially very supportive of the operation, but now he's hesitant.

Isn't this indirectly helping Hydra?
Bant shook his head: "No matter who the rulers of this world are, or how they rule, the people are all the same. Our goal is to save lives, and it has nothing to do with politics. If the people of this universe are dissatisfied with Hydra, they should shed their own blood to fight."

"What's more..."

He paused, a meaningful expression appearing on his face.

"Besides, Hydra's rule may not be as bad as you think."

He has already acquired a vast amount of information from the world's network.

"Since Steve Rogers took office, the country's crime rate has dropped by 75%, and crimes committed by people with superpowers are even lower because of stricter regulations. Numerous Hydra factories have been established across the country, providing countless jobs, and the unemployment rate is far lower than it was under America..."

"What's the price?"

“The price is repressive rule, with people monitoring and reporting on each other, and submitting to authority,” Bant said.

The Hydra captain is Hydra, but he is also a captain.

He advocated a high-pressure rule and absolute order, but his desire to protect the people was genuine.

It feels a lot like the Decepticons ruling the Earth.

Of course, this does not mean that the world under Hydra's rule was better.

The absence of a crime rate does not mean that crime does not exist; it may be hidden or even legalized. Are those Hydra officials who wield power truly so noble and virtuous?
“I am quite interested in the history of this world,” Felicia said.

She was a person who loved learning, and in a world completely opposite to theirs, history must have been the same.

She would love to see those experiences that, if placed on her own Earth, might be considered absurd.

Bant quickly sent Felicia a copy of the information he had found.

"Ancient history is pretty much the same, the turning point should be World War II... What? Dr. Zola invented the Super Soldier Serum? Hydra super soldier Steve Rogers led the Nazis to countless victories, driving the Allies into retreat?"

She slapped her forehead.

"If my history teacher knew I was reading this part of history, he would definitely say I've lost my mind."

T'Challa became interested and asked, "So, this universe's Steve Rogers was a Hydra agent from the very beginning?"

Felicia was about to nod when Bant interrupted, "That's not the case."

His expression was mysterious, as if he were talking about some huge gossip: "I found a very interesting term. It's called 'huge illusion'."

"What do you mean?"

"The materials being compiled now seem to have been suddenly changed a year ago. Before that, the history known to people in this world was similar to that of our world. But suddenly one day they realized that history was not like that, but rather what it is now. Therefore, the collective 'false memory' of the past is called a 'great illusion'."

"It sounds a bit convoluted, but what's certain is that something must have happened a year ago that allowed Hydra and that Hydra captain to successfully take over the nest."

Bant spoke while looking at Steve.
