The Buddha is actually me

Chapter 75: Wang Lingguan Guards Lingxiaotu

Chapter 75: Wang Lingguan Guards Lingxiaotu
When Zhang Jiuyang saw the god with angry golden eyes and feet on a fire wheel in the visualization picture, his heart was shocked and a hint of joy appeared on his face.

It turned out to be the Taoist guardian deity Wang Lingguan!
In his previous life, he had heard his grandfather tell the story of Wang Lingguan, and he had great respect for this mighty Taoist guardian deity.

Taoism has five hundred spiritual officials, and Wang Lingguan is the chief of the five hundred spiritual officials, also known as the Great Lingguan of Dutian.

It is said that his real name is Wang E, and he is the temple god of Fuliang, Xiangyin. For some reason, he had a grudge with Sa Shoujian, one of the four great Taoist priests. Sa Shoujian caused lightning to strike down his temple, but unexpectedly, it burned Wang E into a being with fiery eyes and golden pupils.

The king was unwilling to accept the evil, so he appealed to the Heavenly Court. The Jade Emperor then gave him a wise eye and a golden whip, and allowed him to follow Master Sa secretly. If he was found to have made mistakes, he could avenge himself.

During the twelve years, Wang E observed everything with his wisdom and found no faults that could be blamed on Master Sa. Later, when he arrived in central Fujian, he showed up in person and took Master Sa as his teacher, vowing to assist him in his conduct.

Sa Zhen changed his name to "good" and changed his name from "Wang Evil" to "Wang Shan". He also reported it to heaven and recorded him as Lei Gong of Lei Department, also known as Huoluo Lingguan.

There may not be many people in later generations who know about Wang Lingguan, but there are many people who have seen Wang Lingguan.

Generally, the first hall inside the mountain gate of a Taoist temple is the Lingguan Hall, where Wang Lingguan is enshrined. Therefore, there is a folk saying that "before going up the mountain, one must worship Wang Lingguan first."

Zhu Di, the Yongle Emperor of the Ming Dynasty, was Wang Lingguan's number one fan. He once sculpted twenty-six heavenly generals, with Wang Lingguan at the head.

He had a rattan statue of Wang Lingguan, which Zhu Di enshrined in his bedroom, worshipping it day and night as if it were a guest.

Even when he was marching to war, he would carry the statue of Wang Lingguan with him as the patron saint of the army. During his fifth expedition to Mobei, when they reached the Jinchuan River, the statue of Wang Lingguan suddenly became too heavy to lift.

Soon, Zhu Di became seriously ill and was unable to move forward, and eventually died on the way back to Beijing.

In Journey to the West, the Monkey King jumped out of the alchemy furnace and tried to charge into the Lingxiao Palace. He pushed forward all the way, but was finally blocked by Wang Lingguan. The two fought hard, but there was no clear winner.

Hard struggle does not allow one to show his supernatural powers, and there is no winner or loser in the fight between whips and sticks.

Wang Lingguan has the same third eye as Erlang Shen and rides on a wind-fire wheel similar to Nezha. He is able to fight against the Monkey King and not be at a disadvantage, which shows how powerful he is.

Before traveling through time, Zhang Jiuyang visited the famous Buddhist holy land, Mount Jiuhua, and discovered something very strange.

Jiuhua Mountain is the dojo of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, but the guardian deity enshrined here is Wang Lingguan of Taoism.

He had specifically investigated this matter and it was said that Jiuhua Mountain was originally the Taoist temple of Wang Lingguan, but it was occupied by Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, so he also asked Weituo Bodhisattva, the guardian deity of Buddhism, to guard the temple.

As a result, not long after, Jiuhua Mountain caught fire.

It should be known that Wang Lingguan is the Jade Pivot Fire Palace Heavenly General, the Three-Five Fire Train Thunder God.

Later, as a last resort, they invited Wang Lingguan back to Jiuhua Mountain and enshrined him as the guardian deity of the Taoist temple. From then on, there was peace.

Even Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva and Weituo Bodhisattva could not suppress him, which shows how ferocious he is.

Zhang Jiuyang felt a little excited. Wang Lingguan was the god in charge of heavenly fire and thunder. Did this mean that he would have the opportunity to learn these two great magical powers?
He was extremely envious of Yue Ling's thunder technique. As a cultivator, who wouldn't want to practice the thunder technique which is known as the supreme technique?

Step on the sky fire, control the flying sword, and summon thunder!
He fantasized about that beautiful scene, but found that there seemed to be a hot air gathering in his body, and his skin became a little hot, as if it was smoked by fire.

A surge of anger built up in my heart and I couldn't help but express it.

He suddenly remembered that when he obtained the picture of Zhong Kui chewing ghosts, he had the ability to eat ghosts, which was the innate ability of the great god Zhong Kui.

By analogy, now that he possesses Wang Lingguan's visualization diagram, can he also obtain the great god's innate magical powers?
"ah!"

Ali's little hand was originally holding a few of his fingers, but she suddenly screamed, as if she was burned, and looked at Zhang Jiuyang with some doubt in her eyes.

How come Ninth Brother’s Yang energy suddenly became... so strong?

Even with her yin energy, she was burned.

The anger and irritability in Zhang Jiuyang's heart grew stronger and stronger. His gaze became somewhat violent, and it turned slightly, finally stopping on a person.

That was Blind Lin, who was poisoned and lying on the ground.

The Sky Ghost was swallowed, and his greatest support was gone. In addition, this flesh body was on the verge of collapse. Blind Lin knew that he was completely screwed this time. He thought he had seen through the secrets of Zhang Jiuyang, but he didn't expect that what he saw was just a drop in the ocean.

This strange disciple of mine might become the biggest variable in this world.

Tianzun will definitely be very interested in him...

Thinking of this, a very interesting idea suddenly came to his mind. Even with his long life span, he couldn't help but be curious and wanted to see that scene happen.

Subconsciously, he grinned, revealing his yellow and burnt teeth.

boom!
Zhang Jiuyang punched him in the face, still not satisfied, so he picked up a stone from the ground and threw it at him, once, twice, three times...

He didn't know how many times he hit the stone until it was shattered into powder. He finally stopped and looked at the bloody teeth on the ground. He was breathing heavily, his eyes were bloodshot, and he was full of anger.

"Fuck, I've put up with your bad teeth for so long!"

He stood up, lowered his eyes, and stared at Blind Lin. There seemed to be something chilling in his eyes.

Blind Lin spat out a mouthful of blood foam and laughed.

"Zhang Jiuyang, the real way to defeat a person is not to defeat him physically, but rather - ah!!!"

Zhang Jiuyang suddenly pulled out the Demon Slayer Sword and pinned it to his lower body. He held the hilt with both hands and kept turning it, saying lightly: "But I just want you to feel pain."

After saying that, he drew out the bloody ghost-slaying sword and continued to stab Blind Lin on the patella.

Today, I will cut off all five of your limbs!
The blood flowed quickly like a small river.

Lao Gao, who was not far away, was disturbed and wanted to step forward to stop it but was stopped by Yue Ling.

"Yuetou, Blind Lin was a ghost Taoist. He must have known a lot of secrets. It's a pity that he died just like that..."

Yue Ling stared at Zhang Jiuyang with complicated eyes and said, "Let him vent. He has accumulated too much anger in his heart during this period of time."

After a pause, she continued, "I also want to know more about Huang Quan, but he is a ghost after all. If he is determined to die, none of us can stop him."

Lao Gao was silent, and had to admit that Yuetou was right.

Judging from his condition, the ghost Taoist priest is about to die. The Imperial Observatory naturally has the ability to capture souls and torture them, but with their limited soul-capturing means, it is undoubtedly a pipe dream to want to control this person who is said to be the most outstanding leader in the history of Yinshan Sect.

There is one thing he didn't mention explicitly, and that is Zhang Jiuyang.

A mere cultivator at the second level of the Hundred Days Barrier could actually summon that terrifying red-robed ghost god. Not only was the Sky-Eating Ghost a common sight, it could even cause changes in the celestial phenomena.

Who exactly is Zhang Jiuyang?

Could it be that he is the reincarnation of the legendary immortal?

"The Yellow Springs Road, the Gate of Hell, the Ten Heavenly Stems, the chaos in the human world..."

Blind Lin was panting heavily, coughing up blood, and looking at Zhang Jiuyang with a ferocious smile.

"Xiaojiu, as your teacher, I will give you a great gift. Of course..."

"This gift...comes at a price."
