Chapter 461 Wedding
This was the first time Harry saw Ginny in a day.

Mr. Weasley had obviously changed into some conspicuous clothes, and his hair was no longer as windblown as before, but he didn't notice it at all.

He only had eyes for Ginny at this moment.

Ginny was wearing a simple golden dress that seemed to sparkle with tiny bits of gold against the white tent.

Her fiery red hair was tied up on top of her head with a silver headdress inlaid with yellow gems, and her charming jawline was clearly visible to Harry and everyone else.

In Harry's eyes, everything around him seemed to disappear.

The same was true for Ron beside him.

Only Ginny, accompanied by the fragrance of an unknown flower and the coolness brought by the petals themselves, appeared in front of Harry at the last second before the music ended.

"Ladies and gentlemen," Sirius' voice brought Harry back to reality, and the friendly laughter around him reached his ears. He also noticed that in addition to Ginny, Mr. Weasley was also looking down at him.

"Today we gather here to celebrate the coming together of two loyal souls. In Merlin," Sirius spoke eloquently on the stage.

Ginny turned her head and smiled, winked at Harry, and then quickly faced forward again.

Harry's thoughts drifted away from the tent, back to the free moments he and Ginny had spent alone in the empty classroom of the castle.

That seemed like a long, long time ago.

He always felt that those moments were too good to be true because Ron always tried to stay by his side.

So those beautiful times are so short and rare.

Sirius' words on the stage were still talking about him and Ginny.

But Harry couldn't help but feel a tinge of anger at those memories.

Harry, who had just merged with his former self and faced his dark side some time ago, only had one thing in mind at this moment, which was to pull out his wand and cast one... no, ten curses on Ron who had just been beside him!
"Harry James Potter, are you willing to spend your life with Ginevra Molly Weasley (Ginny's full name)...?" Sirius' words, and all the eyes focused on him at that moment, reminded Harry where he was and what he needed to do.

"I do!" Harry took Ginny's hand.

There were some crying sounds and trumpet-like sounds coming from all around.

Even without turning his head, Harry knew that only Hagrid could make such a loud noise.

That must have been when he pulled out his tablecloth-sized handkerchief. He was always so emotional.

"...I declare your engagement complete. May you live happily ever after." Sirius drew out his wand and waved it high above their heads.

The white tent roof turned into a pitch-black curtain, and tiny dots of starlight fell from the 'starry sky', forming a large field of silver stars that fell on them, swirling around their bodies that were now tightly hugged.

Then, a sound like fireworks exploding appeared above their heads, and a cake decorated like stars floated above their heads.

Mr. Weasley walked up to the podium, also with his wand drawn.

As he and Sirius drew together, the ten-layer cake was cut into small pieces, turned into meteors, flew to the audience below the stage, and landed on the plate-like vine leaves that suddenly emerged from the ground in front of them.

Fred and George led the applause and cheers. The golden balloons above their heads exploded, and the bird of paradise and a little golden bell flew out and floated in the air.

The scattered gold flakes fell beside the vines in front of everyone and turned into knives and forks.

"Ladies and gentlemen!" Sirius and Mr. Weasley shouted, "Please eat!"

So, accompanied by the sounds of birds and bells, everyone began to eat.

Harry suddenly felt a little happy.

But not because of the engagement.

Instead, he suddenly realized that Ron was standing aside like a doorman, watching others eat heartily. Harry knew that in the engagement ceremony in Gloucestershire, England, which Kreacher had introduced, only guests could eat the cake.

The guests eat the cake, which represents their blessings for the ceremony.

The bride and groom, the best man and bridesmaid, and the person cutting the cake (usually two people, each a relative of the bride and groom, one of whom also serves as the host) are not allowed to eat it.

With these thoughts in mind, Harry held Ginny's hand and stared blankly at the stage.

In a normal wedding, the second half would have already ended by this time.

But at the engagement ceremony in Gloucestershire, England, there was also a scene where the guests ate cake.

Only when everyone has finished eating will it officially end and enter the second half of the free activity.

So Harry began to pay attention to the eating sounds after he got up.

In Harry's peripheral vision, Hagrid finished eating first.

The cake is too small for him.

Although he tried his best to taste it slowly, he still swallowed it in just a few bites.

After he finished eating, the vines and the knife and fork in his hand seemed to sense something.

The vines turned into a breeze, and the knife and fork turned back into golden powder.

"Ladies and gentlemen!" Sirius and Mr. Weasley shouted, "Please stand!"

Everybody stood up.

Maybe because they had just eaten, everyone got up very neatly.

Sirius and Mr. Weasley waved their wands again.

All the seats rose lightly and gracefully into the air and the canvas of the great tent disappeared.

The manor, the fountain, and the crystal clear house behind them appeared in front of everyone.

Then, a pool of molten gold spread out from the center of the tent, forming a glittering golden dance floor.

The chairs floating in the air automatically gathered around the small table covered with a white tablecloth, and floated back to the ground around the dance floor lightly and gracefully.

The band wearing golden shirts walked out of the house and walked towards the stage in unison.

"Absolutely." Ron exclaimed.

Waiters appeared from all directions, some carrying silver trays with pumpkin juice, butter beer and fire whiskey, and some carrying a pile of shaky pies and sandwiches. Ron couldn't wait to run to the nearest table, which was already filled with food.

Harry looked at Ron with a little envy, because he and Ginny were immediately surrounded by the crowd and received blessings from the crowd.

What made Harry most uncomfortable was that he didn't know most of these people.

Most of them have fiery red hair and freckles all over their faces.

If Ginny hadn't been by his side, to be honest he wouldn't have been able to bear it.

Dumbledore, whom he was familiar with, and his friends had already found a small table and gathered nearby.

Fred and George took out the couch-shaped flying machine they had used on the Quidditch pitch and flew around, selling mist bottles and other gadgets they had invented to their relatives.

Hagrid found his giant chair, which was five times bigger than the others, and sat at the table with Draco, Charlie, and Bill, discussing something.
