Chapter 348 Testing
The Headmaster's Office is an office in Hogwarts Castle, where the then Headmaster of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry works and lives.

This office is located on the eighth floor of the castle and has a gargoyle at the entrance.

It is responsible for guarding the entrance to the principal's office. Only when the correct command is given to it will the gargoyle jump aside.

This will cause the wall behind it to split in two, allowing people to enter through a spiral staircase hidden behind that moves slowly upwards.

This also means that even Hogwarts professors cannot enter the headmaster's office without a password.

Today, as the clock struck 12 midnight, two figures stopped in front of a huge, hideous stone monster.

"Wow, Severus, long time no see." The handsome young man who looked more like a student turned sideways and stood in front of the middle-aged man with a sallow face and a look of hatred and resentment.

"Hello." The middle-aged man with a sallow face looked stiff and his eyes were empty, as if the person in front of him was air.

"Blowing bubble gum!" The handsome young man raised his eyebrows and followed the sallow-faced middle-aged man who went straight upstairs because of the appearance of the stairs.

"Why? Afraid to talk to me?"

"Or out of guilt?"

"Betrayed your master?" The handsome young man pretended to be angry so that it was easy to see through him, and said as he went upstairs.

The middle-aged man with a sallow face remained silent.

"We're here." The middle-aged man called Severus spoke in front of a shining oak door with a brass knocker in the shape of a griffin.

The muscles of his lips were twisted together so tightly that it seemed like a hundred years had passed before a tiny gap was barely visible.

The handsome young man wanted to speak, but a steady, gentle voice came from behind the door, "Come in, Severus and Tom."

"Dumbledore! I don't know why you want me to come here with this person at this time?" Snape's face regained its vitality as he entered the door, and he complained to Dumbledore, like a child who was bullied by his father and complained to his mother.

"Yes, Severus obviously still minds being with his old master." The handsome young man Riddle walked in slowly.

"I want to ask about your views on Karkaroff." Dumbledore crossed his arms, looking very serious.

"Him? A speculator, a guy who takes advantage of every opportunity."

"Same as Lucius, but his luck is worse. What? The guy called Voldemort is targeting him again?"

"Well, did Arthur Weasley's actions alert him?" Riddle asked casually at first, but then he became serious. He was very curious about the whereabouts of Voldemort's loser.

"In my eyes, Karkaroff is a coward. He regards me, who also dislikes going to work, as a like-minded person. He even had to mention me when he was accusing someone of being a Death Eater." Snape frowned and said directly.

Then they both looked at Dumbledore.

"Very good, Tom, your guess is correct. I thought so too."

"Igor Karkaroff suddenly wrote to me, saying that the Triwizard Tournament will be held again next year, namely: Hogwarts, Durmstrang, and Beauxbatons."

"In my opinion, Voldemort has taken over Karkaroff's body just like he did to Greyback." "It's easy to maintain a temporary body for more than a year. After all, potions are very cheap nowadays. Plus, Karkaroff is the headmaster, has a high salary, and can purchase some expensive potions. As long as he uses them carefully, he won't collapse as quickly as Quirrell." Dumbledore adjusted his half-moon glasses.

"By the way, Severus, please write a letter to Karkaroff to test the waters if your relationship is really that good."

"And you, Riddle, always be aware of whether Voldemort has resurrected."

However, the most important thing is to look at Harry. If there is a problem, he should react. "Dumbledore looked at the two of them seriously.

Time, 9pm, on the Quidditch pitch.

"Come on, everyone! I think we all realize the importance of training - in the previous game - Gryffindor vs. Slytherin. Okay, Qiu Zhang, you need to train to dodge the attacks of the Bludgers. You may be very fast, but you are too straightforward. Henry, you are a veteran, but as a beater you still lack a bit of aggressiveness. As for Roger and Phoenix, you two should continue to keep up the good work, Bradley. Richard, you two need to keep working hard. I suggest that you two can practice with each other privately. As a beater, Bradley, you should attack, and as a goalkeeper, Richard, you should practice more defense! Finally, the training is over!" Harry shouted while training himself.

When everyone was heading back towards the castle, Hagrid stopped Harry and Ron.

"What's wrong, Hagrid?" Ron asked when he saw that Harry's voice was hoarse.

"I'm planning on getting some interesting magical creatures for a competition, and I wanted to ask for your advice," Hagrid whispered, as if someone was eavesdropping.

"What game? When?"

"Also, Hagrid, when did you ever ask us questions about magical creatures?" Ron's eyes widened.

Harry took out the pumpkin juice that was chilled by magic and placed in his bag after casting the Untraceable Extension Charm, and took a big sip to calm himself down.

"What I wouldn't ask you - well, it was Dumbledore who said that I was not very good at assessing the danger of magical creatures - as could be seen from what happened to Aragog and the others." Hagrid shrugged helplessly.

"What's that game?" Harry asked hoarsely.

"Well - well, I should be able to tell you this, after all, Dumbledore asked me to ask for your opinions."

"Besides, the captains of their Quidditch teams should also know about it. For example, Wood and Flint should know about it," Hagrid said mysteriously.

"Hey! Why? If it wasn't you, Hagrid, then Harry and the captain of Hufflepuff would probably be the only ones who didn't know!" Ron waved his fist in dissatisfaction.

"If I were Dumbledore, I would do the same."

"There will be no Quidditch games next school year, which means one thing - for Wood and Flint, this year will be their last Quidditch game." Hagrid became serious.

He knew how important that boy Wood was to the Gryffindor team.

"What?" Harry gasped in surprise.

Ron's eyes widened as well.

"Because there's something much more important next term - much more important than Quidditch."

"That is, next school year, our school will be very honored to host an event that has not been held for more than a century - the Triwizard Tournament." Hagrid was very excited, even though his beard had covered most of his face, it could not hide the blush on his face.
