Chapter 323 New Team Members
Chapter 323 New Team Members
This ghost dinner can be said to be a great success for both guests and hosts.
But there was only one person who wasn't very happy, and that was Harry.
In the following days, he saw Myrtle almost everywhere.
As a ghost, she used her characteristics to peek at him from various places, such as the ground, corners, and ceiling.
Every time Harry spotted her, she disappeared with a smile as sweet as a silver bell.
But there was one thing that made Harry very happy, that was that Myrtle was indeed unable to enter the Ravenclaw Tower as Nick had said.
This made Harry return to his habit of staying in the common room except between classes.
It just so happened that Ron's father became the Director of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement, and Harry's finding of the tiara was a major eye-catching event, so it was fine for him to stay in the common room.
Although Ron had some complaints about not being able to be in the spotlight, he said nothing considering Harry's special situation.
However, there was one thing Harry had to get out of the house for.
That is to train and select new team members.
Harry is the captain of the Ravenclaw Quidditch team. Although he has handed over the selection of players to Roger, he still needs to do the training and meeting of new players himself.
So, after dinner, Harry returned to the common room briefly and then walked outside the castle.
"Harry, I'd say you should go talk to Nick about this."
"He's a ghost too," Ron said as he walked away.
"Besides studying the crown, I have been thinking about the team recently."
"Myrtle may be annoying, but she's also very sensible and won't show up when I'm in a bad mood."
"I think we should wait."
"Besides these two things, the most important thing should be Draco."
"I've hardly seen him recently except for Herbology classes or meals." Harry said worriedly, and occasionally gave a forced smile to those who greeted him.
"Draco probably wants to do this because of Pansy. I heard they are getting engaged!"
"Besides, you can bear it, but I can't."
"Because Myrtle, I've been staying in the common room with you the whole time, the heat of my dad becoming Head of the Department of Magical Law is almost over!"
"I'm not the only child in the Weasley family. I just noticed that among the ten people passing by us, seven said hello to you. I was like air!" Ron said indignantly.
"Then what do you say?"
"Ah, hello." Harry was suddenly attacked by a senior Hufflepuff witch passing by, and Ron's eyes were full of jealousy.
"Very soft, right?" Ron turned his head and looked at the tall figure.
"what?"
"Fortunately Myrtle didn't see it, otherwise she would have made a fuss again." Harry wiped the sweat off his forehead with his left hand that didn't have the broom.
"Don't you think you're making Myrtle sound like your girlfriend?"
"I think that's what she did, chasing away all the witches she knew who liked you, and in the end you had to stay with her."
"And, didn't you notice that after that dinner, all the ghosts, their smoke-like, pearly white figures, gradually turned bloody."
"Harry, you'd better be careful. Later, you will have to marry Myrtle and have children, and it will be too late!" Ron racked his brains and made up a reliable statement.
"Then what should I do?" Harry finally looked horrified.
These days, the reason why he could stay in the lounge with peace of mind was not only to avoid harassment, but also because he could see the beautiful ghost - Helena from time to time.
What if Helena really stayed away from him because of Myrtle!
And if the ghost can really regain his color completely in the future, and even marry a living person and have children, then Helena cannot stay away from him!
He must find a way to deal with Myrtle. Harry, who didn't know that Helena only regarded him as a junior, thought so with a determined look on his face.
"Harry, you finally came to your senses!"
"We can learn from the dead!" Ron said mysteriously.
Harry, who was originally not interested in this, should not be interested in Ron's suspense.
But Harry, who already felt the danger, stopped and almost shouted, "Dead people? What dead people?"
This scared Ron so much that he almost fell over. "You - okay, I'll tell you."
"The dead man I'm referring to is Oliver Hornby. When Myrtle first became a ghost, I followed her madly just as I followed you."
"In the end, Oliver Hornby reported to the Ministry of Magic, so Myrtle had to stay in Hogwarts. She was finally able to enjoy her old age." Hearing this, Harry finally relaxed.
"Then I just need to write a letter to Mr. Weasley!" Harry almost jumped for joy.
At this time, Ron and Harry also arrived at the stadium.
"Isn't this a tryout? Logically, all the students from first to seventh grade should be here." Ron, who knew everything about Quidditch, frowned.
"You forgot!" Harry looked at Ron in surprise, "Our Ravenclaw team is very special. Last school year, the beater and goalkeeper were already in the seventh grade."
"So, we have almost found the qualified candidates."
“Now it’s just a matter of seeing how they progress and which three can become regular players and the others become substitutes.”
"If I wasn't worried that there might be a genius like me in the first grade, our team would have been reorganized before school started."
"Unfortunately, no." Harry said in a half-complaining, half-satisfied tone.
Now he can face up to his own excellence and occasionally show off a little in front of his friends.
"I lost my mind, you know, about my dad." Ron rubbed his forehead with his hand.
"Hey! Davis! What's going on!" Harry shouted towards the sky.
Above the stadium, a blue figure landed on the ground on a broom.
"They are all good, but there are some changes in the old players. Like Henry, he chose to be a batsman." Roger said holding a broom.
"Isn't he doing a good job? Who took his place?" Harry raised his eyebrows unhappily.
"It's me." A clear voice like an oriole came from Harry's right. It was a cute girl with black hair.
"Qiu Zhang?" Harry confirmed doubtfully.
Facing Qiu Zhang again, because he already had Helena and Ginny in his heart, he was no longer the boy who would blush when peeking through the telescope.
"Do you know me?" Qiu Zhang pulled her hair back.
Ron rolled his eyes at Harry.
You know, he has always been with Harry, how did he get to know this girl?
"Have you forgotten?"
"The girl with the Tornado badge when we got off the carriage." Harry explained to Ron first, then he turned and nodded to Qiu Zhang, "Yes, I know you. Captain Johnny introduced you to me."
"Can I?" Qiu Zhang asked nervously.
"I've seen you fly. You're an excellent Quidditch player who gets up before 7 a.m. to train. Why can't you do it?" Harry stretched out his hand and welcomed Qiu Zhang to join.
Roger on the side breathed a sigh of relief.
