Chapter 317: Head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement
"Not this one."
"Neither is this."
"This is not yet!"
"Why hasn't Zhu Weijun come yet!" In the hall, Ron kept staring at the owls that flew in from time to time and muttered to himself.
"Ron, why don't you do your homework yourself."
"Besides, aren't you curious why all the ghosts disappeared?" Harry couldn't help rolling his eyes.
He thought Ron was just too lazy when it came to his homework.
"No!"
"I've never seen a foot-long assignment!"
"And those ghosts must have gone to see Ms. Grey!" Ron slumped over the table dejectedly.
"It's impossible that they all went."
"And don't you find it weird?"
"Today is not a holiday, why are we holding a dinner party?"
"Did Dumbledore have anything to say?" Harry stroked his chin.
"You really don't understand." Harry felt very strange when he heard Ron say that.
Especially since Ron was looking at him like he was an idiot.
"Understand what?" To be honest, this made Harry a little annoyed.
"Ravenclaw's diadem!"
"You found the Ravenclaw diadem!"
"I'd say Dumbledore might give you a special award for your contribution later!" said Ron sourly, his eyes fixed on the right pocket of Harry's robes.
There's also the Ravenclaw diadem in there!
"That's right!" Ron suddenly stood up, causing people at other tables to turn around and look at them.
But Ron paid no attention, which prevented him from noticing a plump, grey little owl flying in Percy's direction.
"I could wear that helmet!"
"Why should I be afraid of homework in this case!" Ron looked at Harry excitedly.
"I can lend it to you, but it's not a helmet. Even if you don't know what it looks like, you should know the name of Ravenclaw's crown."
"Also, sit down quickly!" Harry frowned.
"Ah?" Ron looked puzzled, but he understood the next second because the looks from others were too obvious.
But Ron was indeed Ron, he was not shy like ordinary people.
He was like a general returning from a triumphant victory. He gestured to the people around him and finally sat down leisurely.
"But I think I still have hope."
"Today is my dad's day off."
"He must have found the content of my class so shocking that he had a lot to write about!"
"Maybe after I use up some of it, there will still be enough for you, Harry, and the others in our dormitory!" Ron whispered to Harry after sitting down.
When copying homework, Ron still paid attention to keeping his voice down.
Harry felt a little speechless.
This reminded him of many things that he shouldn't have planned out loud.
If Harry hadn't been paying attention to whether there were people around him, the things that Harry didn't want others to know would have spread everywhere because of Ron's loud voice.
Just like when it came to Voldemort, Ron spoke very loudly, as if he was afraid that others couldn't hear him.
Even in the compartment on the train, you have to be careful!
"I think you should stop expecting anything, Ron!"
"The Muggle Protection Act has come out. I think Mr. Weasley might be so busy with this that he didn't notice your letter." Harry said seriously, hiding his inner smirk.
He was not trying to retaliate against Ron!
"No way!" Ron really cared about this, and his voice couldn't be suppressed again.
Harry tried his best to smooth down the slightly raised corners of his mouth, hoping that Ron wouldn't see that he was gloating.
"No matter how busy my dad is, he will always read the letters from the Weasley children!" Ron retorted loudly.
"Shut up! You idiot!" Ginny, one of the Weasley children, finally couldn't help but speak.
Until then, she had been hiding her face behind a thick copy of The Standard Book of Spells (Elementary), pretending not to know Ron.
"What? Did I say anything wrong?" Ron didn't realize why Ginny said that to him and looked innocent.
"It's easy for me to just do my homework!" Ron muttered.
He felt very wronged as his sister spoke about him inexplicably.
"Dumbledore is here." Neville next to him couldn't stand it and reminded.
"The dinner starts at 6:6, and it's only o'clock now!"
"So what if Dumbledore is here!" Ron asked in confusion.
"You're too loud!" Neville had no choice but to say it straight out.
"Why should I keep quiet about my dad's affairs?" Ron asked in confusion.
"Ron!"
"You know it too!" a louder voice came from Percy.
How could that be Percy!
When it comes to Percy, he always looks stiff and serious.
But now, he was laughing so hard that he was almost going crazy.
He practically ran, dragging Fred and George along.
"Per-cy, are you alright?"
"Are you OK?"
"Are you okay?"
"Are you okay?" the Weasley children said almost in unison.
"I've never felt so good!"
"Ms Bones is Minister of Magic!" Percy exclaimed.
"Susan, your aunt has become a minister!"
"How come Percy is happier than you?"
"Susan, you don't know?"
"How come Percy knew that before you?"
All the young wizards at the Hufflepuff table swarmed around Susan Bones.
Susan was confused. She looked towards Percy in confusion and began to wonder if Percy had any relationship with their family that she didn't know about?
Ron and the others came to their senses and asked questions.
"Why are you so happy that Ms. Bones is becoming Minister?" This is Ron.
"Did Dad's position change?"
"Director of the Office for Detecting and Confiscating Counterfeit Defensive Spells and Protective Equipment?"
"No, that's not right. You wouldn't be so happy if that happened Percy."
"Let me see. The main departments of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement at the Ministry of Magic are: Auror Office, Misuse of Magic Office, and Wizengamot Administration. The secondary departments are: Smiters, Magical Law Enforcement Reconnaissance Team, and Magical Law Enforcement Reconnaissance Team."
"I think dad must have joined the main department, which would make you so happy Percy. Well, that's only the Wizengamot management agency. It has power and is very idle." This is Fred and George.
"Fred, George! Is it really you?"
"You guys are not faking it, you drank the Polyjuice Potion." Ginny's eyes widened.
Even the almost crazy joy on Percy's face froze.
The same goes for Ron and Harry.
Because they all knew what kind of people the Weasley twins were.
They hated a routine life, like working at the Ministry of Magic.
Their dream is to open a joke shop that is more popular than Zonko's after graduation. How could they know so much about the Ministry of Magic?
"At least we should know the department where Dad works."
"But Percy, we all guessed right." Fred and George rolled their eyes.
"No, you are wrong!"
"Dad, Dad, he is now the Director of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement of the Ministry of Magic!" Percy said in a trembling voice with tears and joy.
The next chapter will also be posted today, later.
