Chapter 178 Hagrid Does Not Play by the Rules

The next morning, Harry, Ron, and Draco all received notes at the breakfast table.

The three notes were identical:
Your detention begins tonight at eleven. Meet Mr Filch in the hall.

Professor McGonagall
"I thought Professor Flitwick or Professor Snape arranged this?" Ron complained, poking at the fried eggs on his plate.

Professor Flitwick has always been kind and not strict, and Professor Snape has always favored students from his own college, not to mention Harry this time.

But now, it is clear that the results of this lockdown are not good.

"Weasley, could it be that your ridiculous story made Professor McGonagall think that we have no remorse and increase the punishment?" Draco came over with Crabbe and Goyle and said sarcastically.

"Is that you, Filch? Come on, I'm leaving." It was Hagrid's voice.

Harry and the other two immediately showed joy on their faces.

It's with Hagrid, this is not confinement!
People like Filch are very good at observing other people's expressions and get pleasure from torturing others.

His light eyes were sharp enough to detect the relief on their faces. "You probably thought you were going to have a good time with that idiot, didn't you? Think again, little brats - you're going to the Forbidden Forest! If you can come out safe and sound, even if I was wrong."

"You old ghost, you want to scare them, but I think you're wasting your time. These three are not characters you can control!" Hagrid teased unceremoniously.

"I just want them to know how dangerous the Forbidden Forest is, so they won't lose their lives!" Filch said coldly.

After saying this, seeing that he was getting no better results, Filch left with a cursing look in his eyes.

"Harry, Ron, Draco, you were caught because of me."

"Why don't you just stay in my cabin for a while while I go take a look at the Forbidden Forest myself," Hagrid said kindly.

Dumbledore, who was hiding nearby, showed a look of surprise. He couldn't expect Hagrid to say that.

After all, this was an order from me.

But this is not a big problem, he is here and he can control everything.

Fizeren was saying last Wednesday that something was attacking unicorns, but it hasn't been able to do it. We're going to try and find that poor unicorn and put him out of his misery."

"What if the thing that hurt the unicorn finds us first?" Draco asked with a frown. He knew that the unicorn was not as easy to deal with as a troll.

As the magical creature chosen by Ollivander as the raw material for the core of the wand - apart from the dragon and the phoenix, the unicorn is very powerful.

"What I said before is still valid. I really don't recommend that you come along. Just play with Yaya in the house. There are food and drinks available."

"If you must go, just follow closely behind me." Hagrid emphasized. Perhaps because he realized that he was deceived because of the dragon egg, this time he did not do any trick of splitting the troops into two groups like in the original world line.
