Chapter 1 Harry and the Tree of Knowledge

Chapter 1 Harry and the Tree of Knowledge

"Strange...ceiling."

The boy slowly opened his eyes and saw the white ceiling at first glance.

He sat up in bed and found himself in a single room.

There were several newspapers on the table next to the bed, which attracted the boy's attention.

He picked up the newspaper and saw the headline on the front page: "Norman Osborn died unexpectedly, and the murderer is suspected to be Spider-Man?"

"Daily Bugle?"

The boy muttered the name of the newspaper as memories flooded into his mind like a fountain, and he soon understood his situation.

"Harry Osborn... I didn't expect that I would travel through time and space and become the son of the Green Goblin. No, I should say I was reborn."

Three days ago, Green Goblin Norman failed in his attack on Spider-Man and died. Spider-Man promised to keep his identity as the Green Goblin a secret from Harry and quietly sent Norman's body back home. Harry happened to see it, and thinking that his father was killed by Spider-Man, Harry was so shocked that he fainted on the spot.

This also activated the memories of his past lives that were automatically sealed deep in his consciousness when he was born in order to protect his undeveloped and fragile brain.

He is not Harry Osborn, but Harry Osborn is him.

Harry picked up several more newspapers and looked through them.

"Did you know? Expert research shows that Spider-Man is very likely a mutant who is born evil..."

"Iron Man Tony Stark is planning the fourth Stark Technology Expo. It is reported that this expo will last for a whole year!"

"After talks between the famous mutant leader Magneto and the United Nations, the sovereignty of the Republic of Genosha was finally recognized, and the world's first mutant country was officially established."

Harry was not too surprised when he saw the news. After integrating the memories of his two lives, he already knew that the world he lived in was definitely not as simple as the movie universe. The fact that the mutants founded the country of Genosha proved that this place was closer to the orthodox comic universe.

It's just that he's not sure which parallel universe he is in, which also means that Harry doesn't need to worry about any genetic diseases in his body.

"After a series of negative events such as the Lizard Professor incident and the Green Goblin incident, the share price of the Osborne Group has fallen below its historical low. The company's revenue continues to lose money, and a large number of investors have chosen to withdraw their capital. This once star company with unlimited potential is likely to declare bankruptcy in the near future."

The Osborne Group is going bankrupt!
After reading the last newspaper, Harry's eyes were solemn. His greatest reliance in this world was the Osborn Group's black technology that had created countless super villains. If Osborn fell, even if he could still be a rich man, his future would be in danger.

Compared to the comic world where even the main universe will be completely destroyed, the so-called Thanos snap in the movie is not even an appetizer.

"We have to find a way to save the Osborne Group. The one I dreamed of should be able to solve the bankruptcy crisis..."

During the time that Harry was in a coma, in addition to integrating the memories of his two lives, he also had a strange dream.

In the dream, there was a tree so tall that the top was invisible, standing in the boundless white void. Almost endless branches extended from the trunk, and each branch had a fruit. The higher the branch, the bigger the fruit was and the brighter the color.

Harry stood under the big tree, looking at the fruits on the tree, and he felt an indescribable hunger.

So Harry climbed up the tree, picked the fruit from the nearest branch, and began to eat it.

As he was eating, a vast amount of knowledge suddenly burst out of his brain. It turned out to be the manufacturing technology of the "bionic man" in "Detroit: Become Human", including the experimental process of every stage from the birth of theory to the successful research and development.

And Harry could easily understand and comprehend all the knowledge, as if he himself was the developer of the android.

Then he came out of the dream, but the knowledge did not disappear when he woke up, but was always stored in his memory.

A mysterious message told Harry that he would enter this dream again on the same day next month. "The fruits on that tree should be the high-tech of various fantasy worlds. With the technical background of the Osborne Group, it should not be too difficult to replicate these high-tech."

Harry named the tree in his dream the Tree of Knowledge, and the fruit on the tree is the Fruit of Knowledge. This is his biggest trump card to gain a foothold in the Marvel Universe and the solid foundation that supports him to climb to the top.

Just then, the door of the ward was pushed open and a tall and thin doctor walked in.

"Oh! You're awake, Mr. Osborn. I'm Stephen Strange, your attending physician, although in my opinion you don't seem to need treatment."

Doctor Strange introduced himself to Harry.

"I know you, Dr. Strange. I read several of your medical papers in school."

Harry glanced at Strange's hands secretly. His skin was delicate and his fingers were long. It seemed that he had not given up medicine to take up magic.

"Mr. Osborn, all your test results show that you are healthy. Theoretically, you are healthier than most people, but you have been in a coma for more than 70 hours. If you hadn't woken up, I would have thought you had eaten Snow White's poisoned apple."

Strange was amazed. He had seen many famous doctors who treated difficult and complicated diseases, but this was the first time he had seen a case like Harry's.

"Doctor Strange, you said that my body is fine, so I can go through the discharge procedures now."

Harry asked.

"Please."

A few hours later, at the Osborne Building in downtown Manhattan, New York, a dozen group directors were holding a meeting to decide the future of the company.

"Gentlemen, I believe that what I have just said has made you understand the company's current situation. It is meaningless to continue to guard it. It is better to directly agree to the acquisition plan of Roxxon Group. Although the offer is not high, considering the current situation of the company, it is not bad to get so much."

Donald Menken, the group's second largest shareholder and vice chairman, sat in the first seat and spoke to everyone with a smile on his face.

The others all showed interested expressions. After all, anyone with a discerning eye could see that Osborn was now at the end of his strength.

"But do we need to ask Harry Osborn about selling the company? He is our boss after all. What if he disagrees..."

One of the directors suddenly mentioned.

"Harry? Norman's son? I heard that he was so scared after seeing Norman die in front of him that he fell into a coma. Do you expect such a wimp to come up with any good suggestions?"

Donald said disdainfully, "Don't pay attention to him. He will get the most money from the sale of the company anyway. It's not a small amount. I can't think of any reason for him to refuse."

As soon as he finished speaking, a crisp voice rang out.

"Really? Then you're obviously wrong."

The voice did not come from anyone in the conference room, but from outside the door.

A tall and handsome young man walked in decisively, came to Donald's side and spoke condescendingly.

"Excuse me, Mr. Mencken, I think you're sitting in the wrong seat."

Donald's face suddenly turned extremely ugly.

He was asked to give up his seat in front of all the directors by a young man who was almost two years younger than him. Even if the position did not belong to him, if he really obeyed and gave up the seat, where would he put his face in the future?
