China controls the vast majority of rare metals extracted from rare earth elements... It's not that we have a lot of rare earth mines, but that our refining technology is so advanced that foreigners have to sell their rare earth minerals to us for refining...
Solid-state batteries are actually downstream end products in this entire industry chain... Foreign competitors focusing solely on solid-state batteries themselves are not very useful!
Even if Hailan Auto were to release its hybrid oxide polymer solid-state battery technology for free, no other country could possibly manufacture it.
