Chapter 9 Killing the Freelancer

A day later, the group who went to Montreal returned, and the information Reddington brought back was: The next target of the "Freelancer" was Floriana Campo in New York.

Everyone immediately found out that Campo was a famous women's rights fighter who had been committed to rescuing trafficked and enslaved women and children. Three years ago, her husband was assassinated by the Eberhart Group, the most brutal human trafficking organization in Europe. He turned around and walked out of the banquet hall, pressed the down elevator button, and while waiting for the elevator, he listened to the movement in the banquet hall...

A moment later, as soon as the elevator door opened, there was a chaotic noise coming from the banquet hall. He knew that Elizabeth, Donald and others, under the instructions of Reddington, had discovered the "freelancer" and were arresting him. He smiled and walked into the elevator and went down to the first floor.

At this moment, he deeply felt the benefit of knowing the plot in advance. While Donald and others were busy running up the stairs, he only needed to wait at the hotel entrance in advance - the killer would run out from here anyway.

A few minutes later, the killer took off his waiter uniform while running and jumped down from the balcony on the second floor below the hotel. After a beautiful forward roll, he got up and ran towards the long steps outside the hotel gate. Just after running a few steps, he heard two gunshots, "Bang! Donald, Elizabeth, Mira and others who had chased out of the hotel heard two gunshots, and then saw Carrie posing in a beautiful shooting posture at the door. They saw that blood was coming out of his mouth and he was already dead!

"Who hired you to kill Campo?" Donald asked hurriedly.

The "freelancer"'s eyes were dazed and he murmured, "It's Reading...ton..." Then he tilted his head and died.

Reddington? The three of them looked at each other. Was this to say that Reddington hired him to kill someone? For a moment, no one was sure if this was true.

At this time, Carrie came over with a pistol and said, "He ran too fast, I had to shoot..."

Donald looked at him and shook his head, "Richard, you did nothing wrong. You were right to shoot, but you were too accurate!" He just saw that the two shots hit the killer's heart and right lung behind him respectively. It was indeed very accurate.
