In order to solve this problem and complete the promotion, the wizard predecessors gradually explored two paths. The underlying principles of these two paths are the same, but the actual operating methods are completely different.

The powerful white wizard needs to put his soul into a weak body from time to time, and find ways to preserve the spark of his true self and prevent it from disappearing, so as to prevent the self from being polluted and assimilated by the superego.

Once the white wizard's ego is completely infected by the superego, he will lose his identity as a wizard and will no longer be able to use his wizard powers, but he will retain his original power level and transformation.

Both methods have their own advantages and disadvantages. Dark wizards do not need to worry too much about their own safety, because it is difficult for the ego to erode the self, but they need to meditate frequently to avoid being unable to restrain the desires brought about by the growth of the ego, which would lead to a waste of time and resources on meaningless things.

Although white wizards are more rational, they need to pay attention to the erosion of their superego on themselves at all times. Although this does not take much time, the risk is greater. In addition, powerful white wizards often seal their own power in normal circumstances to save themselves the burden.

The essence of these two methods is to liberate the self from its original function of regulating the id and the superego, and even to utilize the power of the id and the superego to exert stronger power at some cost.

As for why the three are not integrated into one, it is because the id and the superego have irreconcilable contradictions.

Even if one uses some method to make the soul become naturally integrated, the wizard's power will be lost because of the disappearance of the self.

Currently wizards have no solution to this problem.
