Chapter 638 Epilogue
The issue of the royal family is one that must be resolved, because the existing royal family system of the Ming Dynasty favors the royal family too much. It is completely like raising pigs. They are not allowed to farm, do business, work, or take the imperial examinations.

According to the growth rate of the Ming Dynasty royal family, the number of royal family members would double every thirty years. This exponential growth would be impossible to support even in modern society!
Moreover, the privileges of the royal family continued to undermine the tax base of the Ming Dynasty.

Therefore, the focus of the reform of the clan system is to popularize the clan members, that is, to give the lower-level clan members freedom and let them make a living on their own.

Stricter restrictions will be imposed on senior royal family members.
If there is anyone who has the most profound understanding of the demise of the Ming Dynasty, it must be the rulers of the Qing Dynasty. The rulers of the Qing Dynasty personally experienced the collapse and demise of the Ming Dynasty and learned many lessons from the demise of the Ming Dynasty, especially in terms of the royal family system.

In the Qing Dynasty, there was a certain threshold for royal family members to obtain titles. Even the emperor's son would not necessarily be granted the title of prince. If one had no ability or was not favored by the emperor, he would probably only be a Beizi or Beile for the rest of his life. This reduced the number and level of royal family titles at the source.

Then the most core point of the Qing Dynasty's royal family system is the inheritance of titles in a downgraded manner. Except for the few iron-hat kings whose titles could not be inherited in a downgraded manner, all other titles had to be inherited in a downgraded manner. That is, if the father was a prince, it would become a county prince when passed to his son, and it could only be passed on to one son. Other sons could only obtain some lower-level royal family titles through examinations.

The imperial examinations in the Qing Dynasty were also very interesting. The examinations were divided into three categories: translation (Manchu-Chinese translation), horse archery, and infantry archery. The results of each examination were divided into three categories: translation, horse archery, and infantry archery. The results of each examination were divided into three categories: translation, horse archery, and infantry archery. The results of each examination were divided into three categories: translation, horse archery, and infantry archery.

There is a baseline for each person who takes the examination. There are twelve levels of titles for the royal family in the Qing Dynasty. For example, the baseline title for the sons of the first-class princes, except for the inherited sons, is the seventh-class title. This title requires all three examination subjects to be excellent. Those who get two excellent and one ordinary will be demoted one level; those who get one excellent and two ordinary, or two excellent and one unfavorable, will be demoted two levels; those who get three ordinary, or one excellent, one ordinary, and one unfavorable, will be demoted three levels; those who get one excellent and two unfavorable, two ordinary and one unfavorable, one ordinary and two unfavorable, or all unfavorable will all be deprived of their titles and cannot obtain titles, becoming idle royal family members.

On the one hand, the examination and appointment system to a certain extent encouraged members of the royal family to study hard and train themselves, preventing them from becoming parasites who only enjoyed privileges but did nothing, and ensuring the basic quality of the royal family's children.

On the other hand, in this way, the Qing Dynasty controlled the proportion of people with titles in the royal family to a low level, thus reducing the financial burden on the country.

Judging from these measures, the Qing Dynasty deeply learned the lessons of the Ming Dynasty's royal family system. These measures directly pointed out the biggest problems of the Ming Dynasty's royal family system and greatly reduced the impact of royal family issues on the country. Therefore, the Qing Dynasty can be regarded as an expert group in terms of royal family.

"Your Highness, what changes do you want to make?" Chen Hong asked carefully.

"I've already thought of how to change it... take a look..." Zhu Houxuan handed a booklet to Chen Hong.

Chen Hong read quickly, his expression changing constantly as he read. After he finished reading, he breathed a sigh of relief, looked at Zhu Houxuan with a fearful look, and said hesitantly, "Your Highness, this reform... is it... a bit too harsh on... the royal family..."

"Harsh?" Zhu Houxuan chuckled and said, "In my opinion, it's not harsh at all. You underestimated the value of freedom. Freedom is priceless! And I will give them freedom..."

Zhu Houxuan's reforms on the royal family were mostly copied from the Qing Dynasty, but he was more thorough in some areas.

In the Qing Dynasty, idle royal family members could receive 36 taels of silver and 22 shi of rice every year, as well as certain judicial privileges and political benefits.

But in Zhu Houxuan's reform, he didn't even want to give such treatment to idle royal family members. There was basically no difference between idle royal family members and civilians. The only preferential treatment he gave to idle royal family members was some preferential treatment in educational resources. He would set up educational institutions such as clan schools, where royal family children could receive education for free. Of course, the educational resources provided by clan schools were definitely better than the free education promoted by Zhu Houxuan in the Royal Group, otherwise it would not be a preferential treatment.

Chen Hong was somewhat frightened, but he did not dare to refute and continued to ask: "What subjects are tested in this exam?"

"They will take the same subjects that you took before..." Zhu Houxuan said with a smile.

"Ah? Chinese and math?" Chen Hong asked somewhat frustratedly.

"Yes, the basic subjects are like this. I will add a series of additional subjects according to the needs of the times. For example, we now encourage overseas development, so we can add two subjects, shipbuilding and navigation... If you fail these additional subjects, it will not affect your rating, but if you do well, you can get extra points..." Zhu Houxuan said with interest.

Chen Hong was shocked. "Your Highness, are you really planning to let the descendants of the royal family engage in these...industries..."

"Of course. I plan to start the royal family reform starting with the branch of Prince Jing. I will strictly implement the examination and enfeoffment and set an example for all royal family members..." Zhu Houxuan said.

Chen Hong was even more shocked and said, "If the princes of Nangong do not perform well in the examination, wouldn't they suddenly become idle royal family members without titles... Your Highness, you are the regent. If your son becomes an idle royal family member, wouldn't it make the world laugh at you..."

"Then let the world laugh at me. I'm not afraid of being laughed at!" Zhu Houxuan suddenly raised his voice and said, "From now on, the royal family of the Ming Dynasty will not keep useless people!"

Chen Hong didn't dare to say more. He began to worry about the princes of Nangong. The princes of Nangong were Zhu Houxuan's sons...

Zhu Houxuan had twelve sons in total. The eldest son was definitely the heir to the throne. The youngest son is the current emperor of the Republic. The other sons were...

Chen Hong suddenly realized a problem and said quickly, "Then the prince can only be demoted to a prince in the future? The late emperor rewarded your highness for his merits and successively granted five of your highness's sons the title of princes. In this way, the prince's title will be lower than that of the other sons..."

Zhu Houxuan pondered for a while and said, "This is indeed a problem. The main branch of the King of Jing is determined to be hereditary and is not included in the list of downgraded succession..."

Zhu Houxuan was not hypocritical at all. With his merits, he made the Jing Wang branch hereditary and no one could say anything. According to the Qing Dynasty, this was the Iron Hat King.
"As for the five princely titles bestowed by the late emperor, I have not yet decided whether to give them to the children. Five princely titles are really a bit too many..." Zhu Houxuan continued.

Chen Hong had long seen Zhu Houxuan's dilemma in this regard, because Zhu Houxuan's eldest son was already 24 years old this year, and he had four or five other adult sons. Normally, after they came of age, they should have obtained the prince title granted by Zhu Houzhao, but Zhu Houxuan had always suppressed the matter.

He didn't even let his adult sons live separately, but all lived in the Nan Palace.
However, he did not restrict his sons' freedom. Although they could not engage in politics, they were able to obtain some positions in the Royal Group's subsidiaries after changing their names. Therefore, those adult sons did not often live in Nangong.

Given the situation, everyone could see the struggle in Zhu Houxuan's heart.

"I understand your highness's selfless feelings, but these five princely titles were granted by the late emperor himself. They are a manifestation of his love for your highness. If your highness does not want these titles, the late emperor would know about it." Chen Hong hurriedly advised. He had watched these children of Zhu Houxuan grow up, and he would definitely fight for them.

Zhu Houxuan's expression changed slightly, but he didn't say anything.

"Moreover, according to the new royal family reform, these five princely titles will not bring any burden to the country's finances. If the five princes who receive the titles cannot make any achievements, these titles will become princes in a few decades." Chen Hong continued to persuade.

"I'll think about this matter again." Zhu Houxuan sighed and said, feeling a little touched.

"Those royal family members and nobles who are involved in treason should come up with a solution as soon as possible!" Zhu Houxuan began to change the subject.

"We must deal with them impartially according to their crimes. If necessary, their property should be confiscated, their titles should be stripped, and if necessary, they should be exiled. Don't be lenient just because they are members of the royal family or nobles." Zhu Houxuan set the principles for handling the case.

Chen Hong's brain was spinning rapidly, and he said, "From the current situation, clansmen from all over the country have committed acts of treason, it's just a matter of degree. Should we punish clansmen all over the world? Isn't that a bit..."

"I'm not afraid of people all over the world laughing at my Zhu family. I just want to take this opportunity to cut out this poisonous sore of the royal family, take back the wealth accumulated by the royal family's mergers, and implement new royal family reforms. This can only be done by me. The current situation is also a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, so I must do it thoroughly." Zhu Houxuan said lightly.

Zhu Houxuan thought very clearly that although the Civil War lasted for a short time, it involved a wide range of people. The crime of participating in rebellion was a serious crime, and Zhu Houxuan could use this to judge them.
"I understand!" Chen Hong said after taking a deep breath.

"This series of actions will definitely produce a large number of idle royal family members without titles. These royal family members used to have no worries about food and clothing without working. If they suddenly lose their salaries, they will probably starve to death. Therefore, we need to make a good transition for them. We should use the transition period of three to five years to let them master a skill, and then put them into the civilian population." Zhu Houxuan said. "Your Highness has thought carefully, and I will obey your command," Chen Hong said sincerely.

The punishment standards set by Zhu Houxuan soon became imperial decrees that spread throughout the Ming Dynasty.
The princes in the south were deeply involved in the rebellion, and many of their clans were uprooted, and the entire clan was demoted to commoners, and the main participants were exiled overseas.
The northern princes were not as deeply involved in the rebellion in the south due to their geographical location, but they were all stripped of their titles and gave up most of the wealth they had accumulated.

At this time, Prince Ning was also arrested, and his title was directly stripped and sentenced to death. There were only 29 princes left in the world. Except for Zhu Houxuan, the other princes were convicted. The lightest punishment was stripping of title and seizure of property. There were also more than members of the royal family sentenced to exile.
This was actually ordered by Zhu Houxuan. He did not have much affection for these royal family members, and these royal family members had some original sins from generation to generation.
The trial lasted for a year. By the third year of the Republic, the Prince of Jing was the only one left in the world.
Zhu Houxuan thought about it again and again and finally decided to give the five princely titles to his five sons. He was not afraid of any rumors at this point, because he had rebuilt the Ming Dynasty, and rumors of this degree would not hinder him at all.
After receiving the verdict of their trial, the gentry regretted that they did not support Zhu Houcong and Prince Ning with all their family strength, because the verdict was too severe and far beyond their expectations.
In this era, exile is not an easy thing, especially exile overseas. Not to mention the traditional Chinese idea of returning to one's roots, the natural conditions and diseases in the frontier and overseas can kill many people.
Every overseas territory and colony of the British Empire in later generations was not given away for free. Each one was watered with blood and sweat, and buried with countless bones, both of the natives and the locals.
So don't think of exile as a romantic thing. To some extent, exile is more terrible than the death penalty. Death is only a matter of a moment, while being exiled means living and suffering for a long time.
It is precisely because of this that the reaction of the gentry was so great. Some gentry could not bear this structure and committed suicide directly during the supervision, but more people did not have the courage to commit suicide and could only find various ways to avoid punishment.
Kong Wenshao, the Duke of Yansheng, submitted more than a dozen memorials in a row, which were full of extremely flattering words and flattering praises. He was completely ugly and did not have the toughness that he had when he first arrived in the south and criticized Zhu Houxuan.
Zhu Houxuan received many similar memorials, but he did not even read them.
Zhu Houxuan stayed in Nanjing until the sixth year of the Republic of China. Only after the first batch of immigrant ships loaded with gentry departed from Shanghai Port did Zhu Houxuan set off for Beijing.

Shanghai is a special zone newly established by Zhu Houxuan. The geographical advantages of Shanghai are unquestionable. He plans to build the Yangtze River Delta region as the leading industrial power in the south.
During his four years in Nanjing, Zhu Houxuan had healed the wounds of the Civil War on both sides of the North and the South, and initially completed a series of reforms such as land reform and royal family reform.
It is worth mentioning that the imperial examinations were held every three years in the second and fifth years of the Republic. Zhu Houxuan directly announced the cancellation of the triennial talent selection ceremony because the people who were best at writing eight-part essays in the Ming Dynasty were undergoing labor reform and lining up for exile.
Without these people, Zhu Houxuan would naturally not hold any imperial examinations.

However, the country still had a great demand for officials. In addition to recruiting talents from the royal group to serve as chief government officials in various places, Zhu Houxuan also began to implement the national civil service system in the fifth year of the Republic of China and held a unified national civil service examination, which completely replaced the imperial examination system that had been in place for thousands of years. He also removed most of the Confucian ideas from the examination content, causing Confucianism to lose its dominant position in the Ming Dynasty.
There are many people who oppose it, but as I said before, those who have the most vested interests and the most vehement opposition are all undergoing labor reform and lining up for exile.
Therefore, this kind of opposition voice was very weak to Zhu Houxun. The land reform gave him great prestige and allowed him to completely control the north and south of the Ming Dynasty.

The immigration ship carrying the gentry was also a special ship designed and built by Dalian Shipyard in recent years for immigration. This ship is slower but more stable. Each immigrant has a separate room on it. One ship can transport thousands of immigrants. The Ming Dynasty has established supply points along the immigration route, so supply is not a problem. However, there are still too few supply points when crossing the Pacific Ocean, so a special supply ship is needed at this time.
In short, the emergence of this kind of professional ship has greatly reduced the mortality rate of immigrants on the road.
Since Zhu Houxuan decided to exile them, he would not let a large number of exiled gentry die on the road. Instead, it would be better to give each of them a few coins of gunpowder and a lead bullet to save trouble. Zhu Houxuan really wanted to use them to open up overseas territories and colonies.
He believed that every penny he invested in immigration now would bring rich returns to Ming Dynasty in the next few hundred years, so he was not afraid to spend money on immigration.
After thoroughly solving the domestic problems, Zhu Houxuan devoted all his energy to the development of science and technology and industry, increased investment in education, and established a number of colleges and universities after continuing to vigorously promote universal education. The entire Ming Dynasty underwent rapid changes in his hands.
But there are still some small episodes
In the tenth year of the Republic, Emperor Zhu Zaiyi was only sixteen years old, while Zhu Houxuan was fifty-one years old. Some officials publicly requested Emperor Zhu Zaiyi to rule the country personally, because the emperor had already come of age and it was time for him to rule the country personally.
This incident caused a stir. There was no shortage of speculators at any time. Even though Zhu Houxuan had cleared the ranks of officials several times, some people wanted to bet on the emperor's side.
Zhu Houxuan easily put out this trend without making any public statement. He only talked to Zhu Zaiyi privately a few times. Zhu Zaiyi expressed his fear about this matter, and Zhu Houxuan just said that Zhu Zaiyi was not mature enough and could not rule the country.
Finally, Zhu Houxuan watched Zhu Zaiqi leaving and suddenly felt that there was an invisible barrier between the father and son.
In the 20th year of the Republic, Emperor Zhu Zaihe was only 26 years old and Zhu Houxun was 61 years old.

The 26-year-old Zhu Zaiyi was in his prime, and his words and deeds were more mature. There were more and more speculators around him. The temptation of following the emperor was too great. Even though Zhu Houxuan had absolute control over the court, more and more people turned to the emperor.
Because the emperor was young and strong, while Zhu Houxuan was already 61 years old and old, like an old lion, everyone knew that time and the future were with Zhu Zaiyi.
This time, Zhu Houxuan did not wait for them to take any action, but acted directly with thunder and lightning. Overnight, all the speculators around the emperor were arrested, and then the entire family was taken onto an immigration ship to America.

"Bang!" With the attendants repeatedly trying to stop him, the door of Zhu Houxuan's office was suddenly pushed open.
Zhu Houxuan looked at the newcomer calmly, his face was calm.
"Father! What do you mean?" Zhu Zaihei asked Zhu Houxuan with disheveled clothes and red eyes.

Zhu Houxuan waved his hand to signal the attendants to leave, then stood up with a smile and said, "Can't you hold it in?"

Zhu Zaiqi looked straight at Zhu Houxun, and Zhu Houxun's figure became extremely tall in his eyes. Since he was old enough to understand, Zhu Houxun had gradually changed from a loving and reliable father to a towering mountain that made him breathless.
Zhu Houxuan also looked at Zhu Zaiyi seriously. Zhu Zaiyi looked very much like him, but also retained some of the gentleness of his mother Liu Yourong.
Zhu Houxuan couldn't help but sigh in his heart. He invested a lot in educating Zhu Zaiyi. Every teacher was carefully selected by him. He also often taught Zhu Zaiyi in person. The father-son relationship that should have been close, had a deeper and deeper gap as time went by.
To put it bluntly, this matter was all about power. After Zhu Zaiqi grew up, he gradually believed that it was Zhu Houxuan who took away the power that belonged to him. In the face of this supreme power, the relationship between father and son seemed a little thin.
At this time, Zhu Zaiyi knelt down and said sadly, "Father, what on earth do you think?"

"What do you think?" Zhu Houxun still kept smiling.

Zhu Zaiyi gritted his teeth and said: "Father, you have worked hard for the country for more than 40 years. It is time for you to enjoy your old age."

He knew that it was meaningless to hide his thoughts in front of Zhu Houxuan. From the time he got close to those speculators, his thoughts were exposed to a certain extent.
"It's not the right time yet." A trace of guilt flashed in Zhu Houxuan's eyes.

"Then when will the time come?" Zhu Zaiyi completely exploded. "In all dynasties, has there ever been an emperor who didn't rule the country for twenty years? I wonder how many people in the world are secretly laughing at me? What am I? Just a puppet of yours?"

Zhu Zaihei said with tears in his eyes.

Zhu Houxuan's expression became gloomy, but he quickly put away his gloomy look and said: "It's not that I don't want to give it to you, but you are not yet able to bear this burden."

"Why can't I take on the responsibility? My academic performance is very good, and there is nothing wrong with my personality and conduct. How come I can't take on the responsibility? What are you thinking?" Zhu Zaiqi continued.

Zhu Houxuan was silent for a long while before he spoke slowly, his expression somewhat exhausted, "Times have changed. In the past, when the eight-part essay was used to restrict people's thoughts, you would have been a good emperor, but now times have changed, and you are not qualified to control this era."

"I started to develop education in the fourth year of Zhengde, and have been promoting universal education in the past decade. More than 40 years have passed. The people of the Ming Dynasty have become more and more educated, and various sparks of thought are constantly colliding. Various thoughts have also begun to emerge among the people. It is a bit difficult for me to control such a country, let alone you," Zhu Houxuan sighed.

Zhu Zaihe stopped talking. He was neither blind nor deaf, so he was naturally more familiar with the current Ming Dynasty.

"I can predict what will happen after you take back power. After you get power, you will do a lot of right things, and you will also do a lot of wrong things. It is impossible for you not to make mistakes. If you wear the crown, you must bear its weight. In the past, the people whose thoughts were imprisoned by the eight-legged essay would not think so much, but now the mistakes you make cannot be hidden from the educated people. As the holder of the highest power, you will bear the anger of countless people. Maybe you can survive this life by relying on the influence of me and your father, but can your sons and grandsons survive? These anger will slowly accumulate until one day it explodes and destroys everything. Your descendants may be pushed to the guillotine." Zhu Houxuan continued.

Zhu Zaiyi was not a stupid person, so he could naturally imagine what Zhu Houxuan said, but he quickly thought of something, "But isn't this all caused by you? It's you who are constantly promoting education, and it's you who made the Ming Dynasty become like this!"

"Yes, but education is the foundation of this country and this nation! Without so many educated citizens, the Ming Dynasty would not be so powerful now!" Zhu Houxuan said.

"Is this problem really unsolvable? And this problem cannot be solved by you not letting me take back power." Zhu Zaiqi asked. He knew that Zhu Houxuan was right. He was also unwilling to rule the Ming Dynasty that was suppressed by the Mongols. He wanted to rule the current extremely powerful Ming Dynasty.

"Of course it's not unsolvable. I am your biological father, my blood flows in your body, and your descendants are also my relatives. I am also looking for a way out for you and them. Everything I am doing now is for your own good," Zhu Houxuan said sincerely.

"Father, do you have a way to solve this problem?" Zhu Zaiqi asked with a changed expression.

"Yes!" Zhu Houxuan said in a brisk tone, "The method is very simple, it is 'Xujun'!"

"Xu Jun?" Zhu Zaiyi said in surprise.

"Yes! To put it bluntly, this problem is a crime of possessing a treasure. If you hand over this 'jade' now, this problem will be solved and it can ensure that your descendants can inherit it for a long time," Zhu Houxuan said with a smile.

"Wouldn't an emperor like that be just a title?" Zhu Zaiyi said in disbelief, "And wouldn't the emperor's life and death be in the hands of others at that time?"

"Don't worry about this, I will arrange it." Zhu Houxuan said.

"No! We can't do this! We absolutely can't do this! I don't agree with this!" Zhu Zaiyi suddenly yelled, "This throne and power were passed down to me by my father. They are mine. You can't make this decision for me!"

Zhu Houxuan looked at Zhu Zaiyi quietly, with a meaningful smile on his face, which made Zhu Zaiyi feel uneasy.
"How do you think the throne fell into your hands?" Zhu Houxun asked calmly.

Zhu Zaiyi pursed his lips and said nothing.

"This throne was once placed in front of me. As long as I nodded, the throne would be mine. Even though you became the crown prince later, my royal brother wanted me to inherit the throne directly several times, but I did not accept it in the end. Do you know why?" Zhu Houxuan's tone was still indifferent.

Zhu Zai knew that Zhu Houxuan was not lying, but he couldn't figure out the reason, so he shook his head tightly.
"The answer is very simple! It's for today's 'virtual king'!" Zhu Houxuan showed a gentle smile on his face.
Zhu Zaiyi was stunned as if struck by lightning.
He immediately figured out the key.
If Zhu Houxuan became the emperor, given his achievements, it would be impossible to talk about a "virtual emperor". His becoming the emperor would only greatly strengthen the imperial power.
If Zhu Zaiyi became the emperor, this problem would not exist. Zhu Houxuan could easily fulfill the role of "nominal monarch" in the position of regent.
Zhu Zaiyi suddenly felt his scalp tingling. If that was the case, Zhu Houxuan had been planning this "virtual emperor" for more than 20 years.
"It seems that you have figured it out." Zhu Houxuan's smile was still so gentle, "This is a good solution for you and the country."

Zhu Zaiyi nodded woodenly
"Go back and think about it carefully. You already have enough things. Not having the imperial power will not be a hindrance to you. If there is anything you don't understand, you can ask me," Zhu Houxuan said softly.

Zhu Zaihai walked out without saying a word, his steps somewhat staggering.
Zhu Houxuan looked at Zhu Zaiqi's departing figure and felt guilty, but he quickly calmed down.
He must do this, and only he can do it. This is also the last major thing he will do for this country.
Put the imperial power in a cage
In the 30th year of the Republic, Zhu Houxuan was 71 years old. The constitutional monarchy of the Ming Dynasty had taken shape. The 36-year-old Zhu Zaiyi had figured out a lot of things and cultivated a hobby of carpentry. His daily life was very fulfilling, which made Zhu Houxuan very pleased.
On the seventh day of the ninth month of the 40th year of the Republic of China, Zhu Houxuan died in the Southern Palace at the age of 81. Prior to this, he had controlled the Ming Dynasty for a full 60 years.
His death removed the last obstacle to the constitutional monarchy of the Ming Dynasty, and everything in the Ming Dynasty continued to operate as he had expected.
When he left this world, Mongolian naturalized cavalry were galloping and pioneering in the vast Siberia; the Guards Cavalry established a stable rule in Central Asia; the Ming Dynasty's Marine Corps destroyed hundreds of local states in India; Southeast Asia became the back garden of the Ming Dynasty; Ming Dynasty immigrants established many stable colonies in Australia and New Zealand; Ming Dynasty's expeditionary team defeated the Spaniards in the rich North American Great Plains; the Inca Empire in South America had been assimilated by Chinese culture because it had no written language and began to use Chinese characters.
A Pacific Rim superpower has taken shape, an empire on which the sun never sets has emerged
On the ninth day of the ninth month in the fortieth year of the Republic, Zhu Zaiyi issued an edict to posthumously confer the title of emperor on Zhu Houxun, with the temple name set as Shizu, and the posthumous title as Fa Tian Long Yun Zhi Cheng Xian Jue Ti Yuan Li Ji Fu Wen Fen Wu Jing Ming Xiao Ci Sheng Shen Huang Emperor.

The value of the temple name "Shizu" is self-evident. Emperor Guangwu of Han, Liu Xiu, also had this temple name, which also implies the transfer of the throne of the lineage, which is perfect.
The first characters of a posthumous title are just for the sake of numbers. The most important character is the last character. The last character of Zhu Houxun's posthumous title is "Huan", which is relatively rare in Chinese history, especially for emperors.
But the character "Huan" is more suitable for Zhu Houxuan.
To conquer the land and subdue the distant is called Huan; to be able to respect and work hard for the people is called Huan; to conquer the land and annex the country is called Huan; to pacify the four directions by military force is called Huan; to achieve success quickly is called Huan; to defeat the enemy and subdue the distant is called Huan; to be able to achieve military ambitions is called Huan; to be strong and powerful is called Huan!
Zhu Houxuan deserves the word "Huan"!
