Chapter 55 No Relatives or Friends
Song Jin'an reached out and pressed down on the mischievous hands, turning her head with a slightly dazed look in her eyes...

Five months after giving birth, it was time to have sex, but she didn't want to. She struggled to push him away, but he held her tightly and they were pressed together.

She gave a self-deprecating smile, clearly unwilling to cooperate. She kicked the man holding her, and he indeed stopped moving. Finally, she heard a heavy voice in her ear: "You really don't want to?"

Before giving birth, Song Jin'an didn't have much sexual desire, and now that she has given birth, she is even more indifferent and truly doesn't want to anymore.

She didn't deny it; instead, she moved further away from his embrace, directly revealing her feelings.

Gu Xijue suddenly got out of bed, released the person, and left the second bedroom without saying a word. There was another deafening bang, and the door seemed to be shaking.

Song Jin'an was already used to it. She glanced at her daughter in the crib, who hadn't been woken up, then at the closed door, set an alarm, and went back to sleep.

The next morning, Gu Hetang cried and fussed in the crib, so Song Jin'an immediately got up and made milk for the baby.

Lin's mother heard this and quickly took over. After feeding the baby, she carried him around the house. Just as she stepped out of the second bedroom, she ran into Gu Xijue, who was wearing pajamas.

The two looked at each other without saying a word. Gu Xijue saw Gu Hetang walk up to Song Jin'an, took the child into his arms and comforted him. He didn't ask Song Jin'an, but instead asked about Lin Ma who was standing to the side.

"Did she drink milk?"

Lin's mother replied, "Madam just fed her."

Gu Xijue nodded and took the child away. Little Hetang babbled softly in his arms.

Song Jin'an only saw his back, and lowered her head to gently coax the little one in her arms: "Tangtang, I am your father."

He seems to really like his daughter.

Gu Xijue carried Gu Hetang around, and when it was time for breakfast, Song Jin'an helped Lin Ma serve the breakfast to the table.

"Madam, why don't you go upstairs and call your husband down for breakfast?" Lin Ma wanted to create an opportunity for the couple.

Song Jin'an didn't want to go, but she couldn't leave Lin Ma's place. In this villa, apart from the hourly cleaning staff who came regularly, only Lin Ma lived there.

She went upstairs to call Gu Xijue down for dinner, but no one was in the master bedroom. She then went to the study, but no one was there either. Finally, she went to the room at the very end of the corridor. The door was open, and as she walked to the door, she heard Gu Xijue speaking gently to the little one.

"Which one do you like? Dad will get it for you."

After saying that, he took a motorcycle model off the display case and floated it back and forth in the air in front of Gu Hetang, making the little guy in his arms giggle.

"When you grow up, Dad will buy you a rideable one."

Song Jin'an was moved by what he said, and at that moment, their eyes met unexpectedly.

She then stretched out her hand to gesture.

— Lin's mother has prepared breakfast.

They sat opposite each other. Lin's mother took the baby to breastfeed, and Song Jin'an served porridge. Just as she sat down, Gu Xijue said indifferently, "Aren't you going to serve me a bowl?"

She paused in her porridge-eating with a spoon, not indulging him, and gestured with her hand.

—You don't have hands?
Gu Xijue watched her gesturing hastily with her hands, his expression rather cold. Seeing her sarcastic tone, his eyes flickered slightly: "As my wife, is it so hard to serve my husband a bowl of porridge?" Song Jin'an didn't want to pay attention to him. She just buried her head in her porridge, peeled an egg for herself, and after showing it off in one go, she went upstairs, ignoring the armless man behind her.

She didn't expect that Su Ruoya would come again when she went downstairs again.

Song Jin'an felt a stinging pain in her eyes as she watched the two talking downstairs, but she quickly recovered. Instead of going up to them and making a fool of herself, she pushed the stroller out the door.

Song Jin'an decided to take her child for a stroll in the neighborhood, so she could get some fresh air and have a good walk.

The community has a great environment with lots of greenery, so it's pleasant to walk around with your child. She plans to take your child to the back garden, where there are lots of flowers and plants, and there's also an outdoor tennis court with chairs to sit on.

She had just sat down, straightened her blanket, and looked up when she heard a slightly familiar male voice.

"Is that you, Mrs. Gu?"

Song Jin'an looked up and saw Jiang Ciyu walking over with a tennis racket.

She had almost forgotten about this person, but his sudden appearance brought back a vivid memory. She hadn't seen him since they met once half a year ago.

Jiang Ciyu glanced at the baby in the stroller and smiled at her: "Your daughter is so beautiful."

Although Gu Xijue suppressed the news of Song Jin'an's car accident, it was already widely known in high society, and Jiang Ciyu was of course aware of it as well.

Song Jin'an smiled slightly, as if to say thank you.

Jiang Ciyu was very direct. Looking at her, he spoke frankly about what had happened before: "The day I added you on WeChat, you blocked me."

That day, just as he was about to help push the comic editor over, a huge red exclamation mark appeared.

Song Jin'an didn't expect him to be so direct and blunt. She tried to pretend she couldn't hear and let it go, but Jiang Ciyu didn't give her the chance: "Remove me from the blacklist, and I'll send you an editor's business card."

Song Jin'an removed him from the blacklist, and as soon as Jiang Ciyu saw that she had removed him, he immediately handed her his business card, as if he was simply doing it for the sake of doing so.

"Your drawing is really good. Try submitting your work; maybe you'll be the next big name in Chinese animation."

Song Jin'an looked at him, feeling that something was not quite right. She had never been very trusting of others, especially after the car accident, and was even more wary of people she didn't know well.

She typed on her phone, then switched to voice message: "Why are you helping me? We're complete strangers."

Jiang Ciyu's eyes flickered slightly as he played with the tennis racket in his hand, and he said with a smile, "I don't want to see a promising talent go to waste."

Song Jin'an felt a little relieved and typed "thank you" on her phone.

She hasn't started drawing the sequel yet. She'll submit it after she finishes the first twenty chapters and see if it gets approved. Now that she has a child, she should focus on making money so that her child won't have to suffer in this world.

The two chatted casually for half an hour on the tennis court. After glancing at the time, they realized it was time to go back and drink their milk, so they got up to say goodbye.

Jiang Ciyu stared blankly at Song Jin'an's retreating figure. Even after having a child, she still possessed the unique beauty that belonged to her as always.

Just then, a man put his arm around Jiang Ciyu's shoulder and teased her with a smile, "You dare to mess with President Gu's wife? And how long are you going to stare at her back? She's already turned the corner."
