Chapter 45 I Choose the Fourth Option
The purple-haired girl glared defiantly at Nan Wu, "Hey, Ah Wu was our first choice. It's none of your business. You, step aside!"

Nan Wu crossed her arms, tilted her head, and smiled at the two of them. "You two haven't graduated yet, have you? Which school are you from? Should I talk to your principal tomorrow? Oh, by the way, do your parents know you're coming to a place like this?"

The two girls exchanged a fearful look. "How...how did you know?"

"These students aren't studying properly; they're here bickering over girls. Come on, I'll get you both on tomorrow's front page. You're welcome!"

Seeing that Nan Wu had actually raised her phone, the two girls didn't say another word and immediately scurried away.

Although the two girls dressed maturely, their childish behavior couldn't lie. Besides, the majority of people who came here to relax and have fun were working adults and troubled teenagers who skipped school. Nan Wu was just saying it casually, but who knew she would guess right.

After finally dealing with the two girls, Nan Wu turned around and saw Su Wen run away.

damn it!
She ran to the bar and asked the short-haired guy, "Where's Su Wen?"

"Miss, didn't I just say that we don't have anyone named Su Wen here!"

Nan Wu was furious. "That Ah Wu, tell me where he went, or I'll set your bar on fire!"

The short-haired handsome guy was startled by her sudden serious and ruthless behavior, and quickly pointed to the door, "He, he said he went back first!"

Watching Nan Wu hurriedly chase after him, the short-haired handsome guy breathed a sigh of relief. This girl is pretty, but she's so fierce!
Nan Wu spotted Su Wen outside the bar.

"Stop!"

"Su Wen, stop right there!"

Su Wen suddenly stopped.

For two whole years, he had never heard anyone call him that. For two whole years, he lived like a dog in a dark and hopeless corner.

The name "Su Wen" seemed to instantly unleash a flood of memories—those painful, sorrowful, and melancholic ones.

Su Wen took a deep breath and turned around calmly. "Beautiful lady, you've mistaken me for someone else. I'm not Su Wen, I'm A Wu, a junior bartender at Night Owl Bar. You heard what they were calling me!"

Nan Wu glanced at the sky with amusement and thought to herself: Please, I've already done this trick before, okay?
"That's funny, if you're not Su Wen, why did you stop?"

Su Wen replied matter-of-factly, "If you're pursuing me, of course I have to stop!"

Seeing his refusal to even acknowledge his own identity, Nan Wu felt as if a knife had been ripped from her heart, causing her excruciating pain.

She suddenly rushed forward and grabbed Su Wen by the collar. "Do you think hiding your identity will make everything go away? Do you think running away will solve the problem? I don't care what your reasons were for disappearing for two years, whether you're alive or dead. In short, Su Wen, your irresponsible and selfish behavior is shameful and cowardly. I despise you! You don't deserve to be my brother!"

Su Wen was pushed away violently, and he staggered back a few steps.

If it weren't for the fact that his surname is Su, Nan Wu would have slapped him across the face long ago.

Su Wen looked up and met his sister's eyes, which were red with anger and grief. The words of resistance were suddenly stuck in his throat, like a fishbone stuck there, which he could neither spit out nor swallow.

"Speak up! Why aren't you saying anything? Have you become mute?" Nan Wu's voice grew louder with each word, filled with deep resentment and condemnation. "Who caused Mom and Dad's deaths? Tragically, they didn't even get to see you, their beloved parent, before they died, and they never imagined you wouldn't even attend their funeral!"

"Enough, stop talking!" Su Wen shouted, covering her ears.

Nan Wu insisted on speaking, even whispering in his ear, "What? Did that hurt? Am I wrong?" "You don't know anything, don't talk nonsense. Actually, I..." Su Wen hesitated, "Never mind, you don't understand me at all. My parents were more heartbroken than anyone else when they left me, but back then, the Qian family sent people everywhere to arrest me. What could I do? I..."

"Big brother, this kid's right here!"

Several motorcycles roared past, their overlapping headlights blinding them. Nan Wu and Su Wen shielded their eyes with their hands, and it took them a while to adjust.

Several young men jumped off the bus; some had spiky hair, while others had hair dyed in various colors.

"Big brother, it's this pretty boy! He's the one who seduced Shanshan. They might have even slept together already. You have to stand up for me!" The blond-haired man pointed at Su Wen and angrily accused him.

Su Wen frowned. "Please watch your words. What do you mean by 'seducing'? It's that Zhao Shanshan who's been shamelessly trying to get close to me. I've rejected her many times. I haven't even talked to her about anything yet, and you guys are coming to me? Don't you find that ridiculous? Also, please look for the reasons within yourself first. Don't blame others just because you can't handle women!"

"you!"

The man called "Big Brother" slapped the blond-haired guy on the shoulder and told him to calm down, then glared at Su Wen with his nostrils flared. "Damn it, I hate pretty boys the most in my life. They have no skills, just their looks and they do all sorts of bad things. Kid, I don't care who hooked up with whom, the point is, that girl had a fight with my friend because of you, so you're responsible! Now I'm giving you two choices: either give me some money, or bleed a little..."

His gaze shifted, as if he had only just noticed Nan Wu. The man, now the elder brother, stroked his chin and smiled maliciously, "You let this girl spend a few nights with my brother, and we'll call it even!"

The younger brothers burst into laughter.

Nanwu: What does this have to do with me? I'm just passing by.

Su Wen glanced at Nan Wu with concern, "I choose the fourth option!"

"what?"

"Fuck you!"

"Damn it! He won't listen to reason, so he'll have to suffer the consequences! Brothers, kill him!" At the leader's command, several henchmen pounced on him.

"Xiaoying, this is none of your business, hurry up and leave!" Su Wen shouted at Nan Wu in a low voice when he had a moment.

Nan Wu shrugged. "I wasn't planning on helping anyway!"

After speaking, he took two steps back, crossed his arms, and leisurely admired the view.

Su Wen is 1.8 meters tall, with delicate features and a strong scholarly air. Back in school, he was the most popular and handsome guy, the perfect male lead in a romantic drama.

The brother and sister have very similar eyebrows and eyes, yet they are not quite the same. Nan Wu's fox-like eyes are captivating, making people intoxicated without her even trying. She combines beauty and charm, being gentle and virtuous when obedient, and unrestrained and charming when flamboyant.

Su Wen has round eyes with clear eyes. He seems innocent and harmless, and easy to get along with, but in reality, he is unruly and pursues his own path.

Although he was physically capable, he couldn't fight off four opponents, let alone five or six. He was quickly defeated.

"Cough cough... You, you really aren't going to help?" Su Wen struggled to prop himself up on the ground, casting a pleading look at Nan Wu.

Nan Wu shrugged. "Didn't you say it yourself, that it's none of my business, and that you told me to leave?"

Then came another burst of sounds of hand-to-hand combat.
