Chapter 905 Anita's Return
As the familiar figure nimbly leaped into the crowd, the entire venue fell silent for a moment, then erupted in unbelievable cheers!
"Lady Anita! You...you've woken up?" Pusilla's voice trembled, tears welling in her eyes.
During the witches' weakest and most difficult times, Anita repeatedly tore through the night with dazzling fireworks, repelled powerful enemies, and protected the entire witch clan. She was the source of security for countless weak witches and a presence that made all enemies tremble with fear.
Since that incident, the strongest guardian of the witch clan has disappeared from everyone's sight.
All that everyone knows is that the two witches, Tracy and Carmela, went through many hardships to bring back Anita's soul from another world.
She has completely transformed into a spirit using the art of life alchemy; her flesh and soul have been integrated into the Firework Magic Wand, guarding the wilderness protective magic array and silently protecting this land.
Her soul, too, fell into a long slumber, digesting the ancient heritage of the spirit race.
Seeing her standing there with a bright smile, still as vibrant as ever, the witches were overjoyed.
Anita, pouting, stood on tiptoe and gently pinched and tugged at Priscilla's cheek:
"What do you mean by 'adult' or 'not adult'! It's only been a little over a hundred years, why are you acting so distant?"
Her eyes widened, and her pink twin tails swayed gently with her movements: "Call me Anita! Did you hear me? It's Anita! By spirit age, I'm still a little kid! But my soul is still that of a pure witch, so combining the two, I'm practically an adult now, Sister Priscilla~"
This familiar gesture and playful tone instantly broke down the barriers of time.
Pusilla was startled when Anita pulled her cheek. Her eyes reddened slightly, and she finally smiled with relief, replying softly, "Okay, Anita... welcome back."
Like a cheerful little bird, Anita hugged and greeted each of the witches. Everyone seemed to be her good friend. When she noticed the four unfamiliar faces in the center of the crowd, her eyes lit up instantly.
She skipped over to the four of them and excitedly circled around them. "While I was asleep, Carmela, Tracy, and Amisha kept talking about you guys in my ear every day! They said the witch clan suddenly had four super-powerful witches!"
Anita leaned closer to Moran, almost touching her face:
"You are the legendary card witch Moran, whose business acumen rivals that of a goblin, right?"
When I woke up and saw the materials in the store, I almost thought I wasn't fully awake!
"There are so many good things! My strength had dropped quite a bit, but after this period of seclusion and refinement, it has recovered to the sixth rank. Give me some more time, returning to the seventh rank won't be a problem!"
After saying that, she turned to Lilith and said, "You're the Blood Witch Lilith, right? Your blood fusion magic is so cool! The most amazing thing is that even after I transformed into a spirit, I can still use your magic to fuse with that blood! It's incredible!"
Then she winked at Sylph: "You're the heretical witch, Sylph, the creator of the Witch Tree, right? I've learned your magic too! When I have some free time, I'll definitely plant a forest of little witches so they can call me Mom!"
Finally, she grabbed Vasita's hand, her eyes crinkling into crescent moons with laughter: "You're the Devouring Witch Vasita, right? You have no idea, Amisha always brings me all sorts of delicious food to eat, especially in the last few years. The aroma is so enticing, it makes my soul churn! I was able to wake up so quickly, and those delicious foods definitely deserve some credit!"
She even exaggeratedly took a deep breath as she spoke, as if still savoring the moment: "I heard you made all those mouthwatering dishes? That's amazing!"
Suddenly, as if remembering something, she stood on tiptoe and looked around. "Oh right, where's Amisha? Why hasn't she come yet? Could it be that she knows I'm awake and is afraid I'll come after her with 'fireworks,' so she's secretly hiding?" She rattled off this long string of words before Tracy gently pulled her back. "Anita," Tracy smiled helplessly, "let them say something."
Anita then stopped, embarrassed: "Sorry, I haven't spoken in so long. I'm so excited to see so many friends all at once!"
Moran and the others couldn't help but chuckle as they watched Anita's lively demeanor; this legendary firework witch was even cuter than they had imagined.
Before they could chat any longer, an enticing aroma wafted in on the breeze.
Everyone turned to see that Amisha had arrived at some point and set out several long tables: "It's time for dinner! Let's eat and chat!"
"Ah! Misha!" Anita produced a fireworks wand in her hand: "Come and play with fireworks with me, and put on a show for everyone!"
“Ahem,” Amisha coughed lightly twice and gave Anita a flattering smile, “I’ve prepared an extra portion of all the delicious food you ate in front of me before.”
She immediately cast a spell to create a feast of delicacies.
In an instant, countless delicious dishes, each with its own unique color, aroma, and flavor, filled the long table, while a large number of packaged food cards were neatly stacked to the side, radiating an enticing glow.
“Food tastes best when it’s hot,” Amisha tried to sound sincere. “As for that… fireworks display and stuff, how about we skip it?”
She deliberately timed her appearance precisely for the banquet, fearing that this extremely vengeful fireworks witch would settle scores with her later.
Anita's gaze darted quickly between the mouthwatering food on the table and Amisha. Her small nose twitched slightly as she sniffed the complex aromas in the air. Only then did she reluctantly put away the firework wand that had begun to flash with dangerous colors. She then cheered and rushed towards the table, moving so fast that she left only a blur in her wake.
"So many years have passed, but Anita's speed in rushing to the dining table hasn't slowed down at all; in fact, it's gotten even faster!" Carmela watched that swift figure and couldn't help but smile as she whispered to Tracy beside her.
Tracy smiled helplessly and shook her head: "It seems that the temptation of delicious food will always be her biggest 'weakness'."
Anita rushed to the dining table like a cheerful pink whirlwind, but instead of starting to eat right away, she first pulled out a {nutritional supplement card} with shining eyes and used it.
Lilith, with her keen eye, noticed: "She's learned the Gourmet's Senses!"
Gourmets are a humanoid magical race in the Gulu Gulu Food World. They have naturally strong five senses, especially their sense of taste, which is extremely sensitive.
Lilith extracted the blood magic "Gourmet's Hypersensitivity" from the gourmet's blood brought back by Vasita. (End of Chapter)
