The Senyu Floating Island is lush and green, with towering ancient trees everywhere, while the Yueying Floating Island is the opposite.

Everywhere are towering stone forests pointing to the sky and honeycomb-shaped caves formed by wind erosion. Only occasionally, a few clumps of tenacious thorny grass, with a hint of green, peek out from some shady rock crevices.

However, the allure of Moonshadow Floating Island lies not on the ground, but underground.

Moran flew over a natural rock archway in the southern part of the floating island and landed in front of a fluorescent stone monument lying diagonally behind it.

Fluorite is entirely black, but in the dark, it emits faint blue, purple, and green light. The light is dim and not enough to provide illumination, but it is very attractive in dark environments.

Ghostly Stones are very common underground on Moonshadow Floating Island, but such a large piece is quite rare.

Moran looked up at the faded words "Shadow Village" on the monument, and only after confirming that he had not come to the wrong place did he slowly deactivate the transformation spell.

However, as soon as she regained her human form, she couldn't help but frown.

The air, mixed with violent wind elemental force, rushed towards me, dry and sharp, like countless tiny blades scraping my skin.

She instinctively covered her mouth and nose; her throat tightened, and each breath brought a slight stinging sensation.

The Spirit Transformation Clan is naturally close to the power of nature, but on Moonshadow Floating Island, the power of nature is pitifully thin, replaced by restless wind elements, which makes her feel uncomfortable all over.

She reached out and brushed aside the maidenhair fern hanging at the cave entrance beside the square tablet. The moment she stepped into the cave, the sound of the wind outside suddenly disappeared, as if isolated by some invisible force, replaced by a profound tranquility.

However, Moran did not feel relaxed. Dense dark elemental energy flowed in the air like a viscous fog, which not only blurred her vision but also made her chest feel slightly stuffy.

Her darkvision did not work as usual.

"It seems that not all abilities from the real world can be brought in!"

Now her body is completely that of a Spirit Transformation Clan member, lacking the dark vision and superhuman physical abilities of the real world.

As members of the Spirit Transformation Clan are naturally close to the power of nature, they are better suited to living in forests rich in natural energy.

Fortunately, she was ready to switch races.

The cave meandered downwards, and the surrounding darkness grew ever deeper. Only the scattered fluorescent stones embedded in the cave walls emitted a faint light, like fireflies floating in the night.

Moran stared at the minerals and couldn't help but chuckle. Now she finally understood why people on the forum always said that "the only good thing about the 'Ghostly Quartz' is its beauty."

In the darkness, they were indeed beautiful as a dream, but their faint light couldn't even illuminate the path beneath our feet, let alone serve as magical materials.

It's very difficult to polish fluorite into an ornament, because once the luminous parts are polished, they will completely lose their luster and become just an ordinary stone.

The exposed ore on the cave walls shimmered with an alluring luster, as if silently inviting her to pry one off and take it with her.

Her card book is missing one {material card - Ghostly Stone}.

Moran remembered the warning on the square stone at the entrance that "mining or taking any glowing minerals from the village is prohibited," which suppressed his restless heart, but he still couldn't help but stare at the glowing stone.

Helpless, he opened the adventurer panel and, using his backpack as cover, found a pumpkin-shaped magic lantern in his {space card}.

The warm light dispelled some of the darkness, allowing her to control herself from focusing too much attention on the fluorescent stone.

After walking through a long, winding cave, a huge underground cave suddenly appeared before her eyes.

The dome hangs high like an inverted bowl, its walls riddled with natural fissures and holes, through which sunlight filters in, carving slanted beams of light into the dim space. Dust motes drift slowly within these beams, like fragments of a galaxy stirred by an invisible hand. Fluorescent stones and unidentified fluorescent moss on the cave walls add glimmers of light to the darkness.

These rays of light intertwined with the skylight, casting ever-changing, mottled shadows on the ground.

The entire village is built according to the terrain, with most houses embedded in the rock walls or transformed from natural stone pillars and caves.

Some buildings are even suspended directly from the stalactites hanging from the dome, secured by vines and iron chains, resembling some kind of giant beehive when viewed from a distance.

The suspended iron chain bridge connects the buildings on the ground and in the air.

There are magic lights at the cave entrance, on the eaves, and at the street corners. Although they don't make the entire cave as bright as day, they are enough for people without dark vision to see clearly what's going on here.

At the heart of the village lies the tribal altar, its ground paved with polished black stone slabs that reflect the sunlight, resembling a still, dark lake.

Occasionally, a gust of wind would blow in from the high hole, making a low, mournful sound, like a sigh coming from the depths of the earth.

"Finally here..."

Moran murmured softly. Although the scene before her was beautiful, the repulsion of the dark elemental power to her body as a Spirit Transformation Clan member prevented her from appreciating it in peace.

Her gaze swept quickly across the layout of Shadow Village, and she superimposed the scene before her with the Shadow Village map she had seen on the forum in her mind, quickly locking onto her target: the cave half-hidden in the shadows next to the altar was the residence of village chief Martina.

The adventurers on the forums didn't rate Village Chief Martina much better than Old Groot.

"Don't mess with this eccentric old woman unless you have something important to say."

“Last time I just asked a couple of extra questions, and she stuffed a ‘wailing monster’ into my shadow, making my ears hurt.”

“She’s only interested in ‘funny things’—but nobody knows what she finds funny.”

Moran breathed a sigh of relief; thankfully, she had come prepared this time.

Old Groot assured her with absolute certainty that he and Martina were close friends, and that the letter of introduction he personally wrote would make it absolutely easy for her to change races.

The only unsettling thing was that the envelope was sealed tightly with tree wax by old Groot, and Moran had no idea what he had written inside.

"I hope old Groot didn't screw me over..."

With the Shadow Village settlement guarantee, race change ceremony materials, and Shadow Hunter job invitation letter, settling down, changing races, and changing jobs are all real "serious matters." Even if Martina is strange, she wouldn't just put some "little surprises" in her shadow without going through the proper procedures, would she?

She'll probably be able to become a Shadow Clan member soon and live comfortably in Shadow Village.

Moran strode toward the altar.

The alleyways between the grottoes were deserted, but she felt an eerie sense of crowding, as if countless unseen beings were spying on her, their gazes intensely fixed on her.

And then came the soft whispers:

"A green-skinned adventurer! He looks so ugly!"

"Hehe! Watch me jump into her shadow and scare her!"
